I had my 1994 Ford Mustang in for a diagnostic of the transmission. It was surging up rpms and then falling back down at 50 mph or faster. Even when the cruise control was on. It took them 2 test drives to get it to do what I had explained. They werent quite sure what was causing it electrical or mechanical and it didnt show any codes from diagnostic machine. They recommended to change filter and fill fluid back up. About $325 over the $137 diagnostic. Or wait until the master tech looked at it on Monday.We opted for #2. They came back it was mechanical. So they recommend the transmission should be rebuilt or replaced. Opted to take it home and we would have the filter changed. My husband can do that. !As far as the shop it self. They were great got us in when we needed. They were polite and very explanatory about what they were doing, what they did and what the fix would be. The staff was very polite, fairly clean (for mechanics). They are a bit pricey I think but They are very through and send you a report on the complete diagnostic testing. It was really nice. I was very impressed with the Tech at the front that was not trying to get me to let them replace the transmission..not pushy or rude!! Thanks guys for all your help.The Hamiltons

Ive brought my 2002 Honda civic in for work and havent had to bring it back in since. Master tech automotive also did a tremendous job, replacing my transmission for my Chevy Tahoe. After all the maintenance was said and done. My Chevy drives like a new car.

Im very happy I found this shopvon AAA website They have been great with anything I have brought my vehicle in for. Excellent communication havent felt like they were trying to push any services but they do give a decent inspection and email me with details so I can make a decision from there.

For starters I should’ve looked up reviews because they are definitely mixed. My experience was that Master Tech tried to overcharge for parts by 150% and even more on others. For example, the engine cooling fan was priced at 598 and I went a block away and grabbed one for 191 at Napa. They identified multiple things wrong with my vehicle and responded with an estimate that was through the roof. After getting a second and third look at the vehicle I soon found out that the actual problem was 2000 dollars cheaper and NOT on their list. The icing on the cake was when I got my vehicle back the hemi engine cover was missing. With everything that happened and the unprofessionalism involved, who knows if that was a mistake or someone trying to get over on someone that doesn’t work on cars. I never take the time to leave reviews but that’s how much I care for dishonesty.

My check engine light was on so I brought my car here. They told me that the spark plugs and coils needed to be replaced, and that it would cost $2100. They offered me this credit thing where I would end up paying about $3300 over the course of a year. I was ready to sign for this deal. Luckily my uncle is not as naive as me. He took it to a small local mechanic that he’s done business with for years. They replaced all four spark plugs for $125. He said Master Tech basically tried to scam me, and that they will get a kickback for getting people to use the credit thing, so they probably decided to charge me top dollar to take full advantage! I’m glad my car was fixed for waaaaaaay less than what those guys told me.

Ive used Master Tech twice and Ive been very impressed both times. This last time, I had to request the mechanic come back out and turn off my check engine light and he was super nice and very professional. He came right out and apologized and quickly took care of it. Overall, Im happy and will be back for future oil changes and repairs.

Greedy and shady. My partner had trouble with her electric system. If she hadnt given a list of electrical issues, they charged her for all on the list, which there free diagnostic found was just a battery issue. Over 400 in labor charges and the car came with less features working. There explanation was the new battery took it offline. They would need to charge more to fix it. I cant give negative stars! So sad!!! Please consider taking your resources elsewhere!!!!!

They were 100% trying to scam us into spending more money. They claimed I needed an extra $1400 to fix a problem they’d already fixed per their detailed receipt, also claimed they’d need to keep my car there for 24 hours when the job was done within 3 hours of being dropped off at 8am. My husband and I are furious and devastated. Never again.

Found out my front center motor mount was no longer any good, so I came by to get an estimate on a price. I wasn’t even planning on leaving the car there, I was really just looking around to see what prices were and what not. Not only did their customer service go above and beyond my expectations, but they even had a few different finance options available and they were able to take my car and have it done by the end of the day. I’ve worked in car audio before so I have a general knowledge of how the processes are and what not. By far the easiest finance application I’ve ever filed and seen. The customer service was great, James was super friendly, helpful, and willing to answer any and every pricing question I had. Originally I was quoted $580 for the front center motor mount, and the drivers side rear motor mount. Upon further inspection they found the drivers side motor mount didn’t need replacing, so I was called with good news that it was going to cost $266 instead of $580. Definitely a great place with great customer service. These guys made sure to get good customer satisfaction along with making sure the car was fixed appropriately. They even showed me the broken part and took me to my car to show me the new piece that was fixed before I left the store. By far the best customer service I’ve received from any mechanic. Will be going here from now on for all auto repairs.

Master Tech Auto has been consistently amazing every time Ive had to take my old Ford Explorer in. I inherited the car after my father passed away and I had some work done at other shops where in their inspections they missed large, glaring problems and handled such a special car to me very carelessly. When I discovered Master Tech I was nervous from the mistreatment of the other shop but was so happily surprised with the precision and care they took in fixing my car. I know to some people its a piece of junk but I am forever thankful for the absolute gentle way they took care of my car and I would recommend them to anyone looking for good, friendly, honest service.

Great service and great technicians! I was having multiple electronic issues with my Chevy Avalanche so I brought it to the dealership and they diagnosed it as a bad body control module. After I order the body control module the dealership could not program it to my vehicle. My vehicle stayed at the dealership for over 2 months while they worked on it. Thats when I decided to get a second opinion and bring it to Master Tech. Smartest thing Ive ever done was bringing my vehicle to them! The next day they figured it out. It ended up being a ground issue in the after market navigation. I highly recommend bringing you a vehicle to Master Tech!

Im a car guy. I have never had to pay someone to do anything to my cars. That was until recently.I could not figure out the problem with my Nissan pickup. I am in the automotive industry so I asked my tool dealer and he very confidently recommended Master Tech. Spot On! Anthony TRULY IS a Master Tech! Extremely thorough. Extremely accurate. I did the repairs myself after he diagnosed it but I feel a little guilty because Anthony spent way more time with me than I really ultimately paid him for the diagnosis. They actually did a comprehensive inspection and notated everything. There were a few issues. I know this pickup top to bottom. Not a single issue that they found was bogus. The guys here were really professional. They were able to work find my problem quickly, based on the information I gave them. Just wait to hear it all... Brought my 99 F150 in to replace radiator and possible heater core. They repaired the radiator quick and easy at a good price. The price they quoted me for the heater core shocked the heck out of me... I called a couple of other shops and found they were pretty much spot on. A little more, but not much. I decided to let them do the work. The previous owner of the truck had gotten in and created all kinds of issues like cutting the dash/ heater box and trying to glue it back together. The guys took the time to explain everything to me. It took an extra day to get a part, but they kept me in the loop every step. Darren at the front desk is very friendly and helpful.Their diesel tech is the one that really won me over. He took the time to make sure I really understood the evaluation on my vehicle. He explained most of the costs and gave a fairly accurate estimate of the costs. When I asked which things needed to be done and which did not he was truthful. No upsell or pushing unnecessary services.They can be a little more expensive than other places but all their services/parts are under warranty. Also I really like a mechanic who is willing to say I dont know, but Ill find out then delivers on that.

I recently purchased a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I wanted someone to perform a safety inspection on it. I called Master Tech Automotive, and Darren said that they could perform such an inspection. I dropped off the Jeep the night before and the inspection was done by 10 o’clock the next day.For the inspection, they provided me with a detailed report that included photos and notes about the problems that they had found, along with recommendations for other services. They also provided me with an itemized estimated cost sheet for the repairs that included parts and labor for the services. Once we agreed on what services that I wanted performed they completed the work in about a day. It was very fast.I know mechanics are always a big issue for people as they are always afraid they are going to get cheated. I bought a 1996 Jeep, so even though they repaired and service it according to what we agreed upon, I know that there is a chance something else will go wrong with it. And if that’s the case I will take it back to Master Tech for repairs.They have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau - GOOD! And the shop is very clean, another good sign! They also have a contract with TechNet for a limited warranty and towing, should need it, if they perform a certain amount of service on your vehicle. The team was very professional and courteous and I would highly recommend their shop to anyone! All in all, a great experience!

Highly professional in their approach to customer service. In the first visit they repaired a broken piece and with no additional cost did an inspection with pictures of things that needed repair and provided email with those pictures. Included things that were OK based on the inspection just to let me reassure me.. In both my visits, the mechanic showed me all the areas that he repaired. Highly recommend them and I can understand why they are AAA aporoved.

Went in with my 2006 Ford F-150. Truck was having problems where it would lunge and not accelerate. Took it in and talked to Darren who is the service manager there and he took my truck right in. Anthony did some testing and found out I had some simple misfires and needed a new coil. They got it done super fast and very inexpensive. WHEN I GOT HOME, I NOTICE MY FACTOR SPEAKERS IN THE CAR HAD BEEN REPLACED WITH DIFFERENT SPEAKERS. THATS THE INTEGRITEYOF MAY EXPERIENCE. NOW IM BROKE WITH RESENTMENT...THANKSRYAN ! ! The exhaust that was repair was total removed with all old parts, exhaust hoses and that were new when I had it towed car into there shop. All they did was swoped my new engine and replace it with Junk engine SWOP. They denied this accusation as If I was a fool with no compensation for there actions. The mechanic was named RYAN! ! The manager: Darren... defense the mechanics actions as if nothing was wrong.I lost $2,500.00 there Delinquent thievery. The first time I brought my car to them, I asked for an alignment, and the mechanic was VERY HONEST and explained to me that the problem that I thought I had, was actually from prior repair shop, and instead of just doing what I asked(taking my money, and I would still have problems), he took the time to explain the problem.This most recent visit was just basic maintenance,but a few bigger problems came up and again, the mechanic took an extended amt of time to explain to me the issues, which shows me HOW MUCH INTEGRITY this repair shop has! Had a wonderful experience today. Went in to get my A/C checked out because it wasnt working on my 2006 PT Cruiser. Now it is in working condition and only took a couple of hours. Runs great so far and was told to come back if it has a problem again and to come in in a week so that they can check for any leaks. Plus they provide you with a complimentary 1 year of Road Service too. They were all very polite and provided me with coffee, crackers and also bottled water. Great place.

Its always hard when it comes time to pick a shop for a repair. I never really trust reviews because they are frequently payed, or at the other extreme, people just go off on the shop because they didnt have any automotive knowledge at all, and they think they are getting ripped off because the repair was so expensive. None the less, I decided to go with a local shop that had realistic good reviews. I was contacted and asked to write a review. Normally I wouldnt bother, but in this case I felt I wanted to share my experience. To me a five star rating is when goods or services exceed your expectations. Well. Master Tech did ! Without getting in to too many details, my vehicle wasnt starting. After excluding the obvious causes, I did some research, and it looked like it could be an electrical or electronic issue which in most cases was a very expensive repair. I managed to get my car started and brought it to Master Tech. I explained I wanted to be kept in the loop with the troubleshooting, and when repairs started, I wanted to be informed when and if costs were to exceed the original estimate. When I left the shop, I signed papers disclosing the costs for diagnostics at a price of $125. The next day Anthony (the technician) called me and explained that at the time he couldnt replicate the issue, and needed the car for a bit longer, in the hope he could get it to fail again. He called back later on in the day saying he had good news, he was able to get the car to fail, and was thus able to complete his troubleshooting and diagnostics. He explained the process in detail, and the rationale used to come to his final determination. Im a technician myself, just not an automotive technician, and I was convinced that he had followed a very solid procedure for coming to his conclusion, and he was obviously very knowledgeable when it came to automotive circuitry. Long story short, it was a bad electrical connection, and the total cost of the repair was the $125 for the diagnostics. And thats not it, at that price it included a 51 point inspection with a complete report with pictures and detailed costs of suggested repairs and services, and its accessible from the web. Of course I was thrilled that it only cost me $125, but what earned the 5 star review was the level of interaction and involvement they had with me, the customer, and the fact that they searched for the root cause, and didnt just throw parts at it, which is unfortunately what most shops do, because it saves them time and makes them more money. I will be using their services again soon for maintenance and eventual repairs. Highly recommended !9-26-19Once again, great service from Master tech Automotive! My water pump started leaking on my 2010 Grand Cherokee. I noticed it soon enough so I was able to keep the levels topped off and prevent any overheating. But, I didnt want to push my luck. I called Master Tech late in the evening, after closing time and left a message. The next day, they had me in by 9:30 AM, and gave the car back to me at 1:30 PM ! The work was impeccable, the car is running great. Again, its good to know there is a shop you can rely on.

I gave an okay star rating. They didnt work on my car because I thought $200 dollars to clean the oil on the bottom of my car and put a seal on the speedometer cable? That was way out of price range to basically do more diagnosing. They couldnt find any leaks when I knew there was one (valve cover gasket on driver side) and couldnt find where the sound was coming from when we test drove it (speedometer cable/the head of the gauge) After hiring a mobile mechanic and within 10 minutes he figured those things out. Where as I spent an hour or so here not finding out what my car needed work.Ill say they are nice and polite people but probably wont come back here after realizing they didnt help me in the end.

Called around to get quotes on an issue my cars having, was told the price over the phone and was the least expensive of other people I checked with so made an appointment, with that phone call i once again double checked the price i was told was true, was told yes. Once I was in was told that price was just for labour and it would be 100 bucks more then what I was told and would not stick with what I was quoted twice. Shady people and wasted my time will be taking my business elsewhere.

I had a friend take my car in for a break inspection. It was in bad shape and unsafe to drive. The price for pads and rotors was very competitive, plus they found a wheel bearing problem for me that I had recently had replaced elsewhere. I was able to have fixed at no extra cost because it was still under warranty. Im so glad they did such a thorough inspection and found the problem sooner rather than later when it may not have been covered. Okay to be completely honest. Get your quotes from other shops before you come here. I dont care how good these guys are. Their price is way over average and they tried to rip me off last time by telling me I had to fix something I didnt have to. How did I know?because I had it also checked out by other professional mechanics. If u got money go for it but if u smart go elsewhere

Took my car in for a oil change. People working were friendly and very accommodating. Fast service and the cost was very reasonable. They didnt try pushing stuff off on me that didnt need done like most other shops do. I gladly will be back.

Master tech has always gone above and beyond with taking care of my vehicle. They are always fair and do not take advantage of their customers. Taking my suv here for suspension work has been a great experience and I will continue to come here for my vehicles other needs in the future.

Positive. they got me in before a trip. negative, while insistent that i had a problem with my radiator, forgot to fill the washer fluid. basic need when traveling. although they offered to top it off, (after a 3,000 mile trip into the wilderness.... I had already done so. unfortunately, now, I dont really trust them to tell me the truth and take care of basic needs.
