Love this store! Always helped by awesome employees always greeted when I come in. Always checked out in a timely manner! Never given any Hassel when I return things! Thanks all ulta employees for your great customer service! Its nice to still have it every time I shop!

I have recently made my first few purchases at Ulta (maybe I bought something years ago, but I have no recollection of it) anyway, this is the only Ulta Ive ever been to. Both experiences were great. The first time I was looking for a Clinique skin care routine and a lovely gal helped me find exactly what I needed. She did not try to stray me away to a different brand, which I love and appreciate!!My second visit was to find a new fragrance and foundation. This time Liliana helped me find the perfect fragrance for my anniversary trip (Good Girl) and she color matched a foundation for me.I also want to make a note that the store was robbed while I was there and the ladies on the floor were so very professional, composed and brave. I give thus crew ONE MILLION stars for the way the issue was handled. After years of dealing with that myself, I would be proud to have any of those ladies on my crew. Thank you Ulta Gresham for being super awesome!!!!!!

I was in the store a bit after opening. There was five associates that asked me if I needed helpEach time I told them no thank you and went back to my shopping. I was looking for a new mascara and knew what I wanted just could not decide which to buy. Then I needed to also purchase a body scrub and went to that section. While looking at my options and reading labels, I am allergic to cocoa and had to make sure that the product I selected did not have it in there. All of a sudden there was a gentleman standing near me and he was watching me I felt. As I walked away after making my selection he looked at me as I made my way to the register. This is the last time I will shop at this location after this experience and them making me feel like I was stealing which I would never do, as it raises the prices for all.

I love that they sell a little of all types of makeup.

Aubrey and Lily were exceptional today, I am hopeless when it comes to shade matching myself but Aubrey was super knowledgeable down to my skin tone and undertones! Customer service today was unmatched and Aubrey even helped me find my new favorite eyeshadow palette. Thanks ladies!

Tina is hands down the best! She took great care with my eyebrows and I absolutely love them. She helped me salvage then after my horrible experience at European Wax Center in the same plaza. She tinted them and changed the shape that I really wanted. She is a miracle worker! I will say most of the staff are really nice and helpful. But there are a couple of staff that just follow you around the store and its uncomfortable, they yet to seem like they are there to help but dont really help and give off the I dont trust you shopping vibe. Please give shoppers space and dont trail behind them its uncomfortable and makes for a bad shopping experience. Work on that please and know customers of color shouldnt be stereotyped.

I love this place. Sometimes the lines are long but thats just because they have cool stuff. I went in today to pick up some things and ask the cashier if I had any points and I ended up paying .36 cents for $30.36 worth of beauty products and I still have 200 points left. They made my day!

Ive been in a few times for products and always treated with professionalism and courtesy. Today was my first time with the salon and it has been a long time since I have had such a good experience. Erica was my stylist and she is great! My hair looks and feels amazing, she was a wonderful conversationalist and I was very happy with how clean everything was.

I had my first Ulta Salon experience today with Erica T. as my hair stylist. She was FANTASTIC! She took the time to listen, checked in with me throughout the cut to make sure it was shaping up how I wanted it, and her and I had a blast chatting the whole time! I love my new hairs and already booked my next cut! 10/10 because of Erica!

The staff is super nice. Prices are reasonable and the store has been well stocked everytime Ive been there.

Just ran in to pick up my makeup. Funny the last time I bought it there the tint never mixed in it. I always had to squish the tube to mix it. This time it was perfect.

Melissa Marie @ the salon is the best! She is so so good at cutting hair. I’ve had 4 appointment with her so far and each time she’s cut it exactly per the pictures I show her. She’s also really good about talking through what we’re gonna do before she cuts anything. Awesome accuracy, precision, style, and such she’s such a sweet lady.

It’s been a little bit (one year) since I last visited but when I did, I got the works! Everyone there was so friendly. They escorted me around to the products I was looking for. They applied them on me to help me find the right foundation shade, eyebrow color and contour. I ended up spending $600 that day. I came in with no makeup, a pair of jeans and some sneakers and they didn’t treat me any differently.

Erica, the salon manager, was incredibly rude to my sister and when I called and spoke to her she tried to justify her behavior instead of simply apologizing. My daughter shopped there and used the. We will NEVER go back to this location because of her.

Customer service continues to be terrible. The chick behind the counter was super short with us, wouldnt even say anything or make eye contact, I had to bring up my Ulta rewards points, at which time she rolled her eyes and guffed that I was inconveniencing her. Seems to me Alton needs to have an entire overhaul of their customer service policies because the last time I was there before this it was absolutely terrible and their salon staff is so rude and snotty I cant believe that they allow this to happen.

Today I went to Ulta for the first time in my life. Everyone working there was so SO nice to me (and I was helped by like, 5 different people) and any time I had a question they gave me their honest answer and opinions. They even helped me manoeuvre around the store!

Ariel, the Benefit Brow Bar beautician does the most amazing job on my brows. Always follows natural shape, perfect tint!!! When I came in my eyebrows were not even related, and now they are sisters.

Omg they had everything it was like a little kid being in a candy store.. and I like that it had samples for pretty much everything.. staff was friendly and helpful too but what I didnt like is being followed by security and making it so obvious that others could tell too and I dont know why Im not a thief I dont look like one and of course I came in with money to buy something.. it was really uncomfortable

This Ulta has been my go to for three years now. Staff effort to be helpful is great however they are often wrong. Saying that a certain perfume was not for sale on the shelf in the perfume section but they could order it for me. Then, I discover finishing my shopping it was back with other things including more perfume in its brand section. Also have left a long time waiting for the restroom to be unlocked.

I always get the best customer service at this location. They even began selling e.l.f. products which makes me super excited as it is one of the best drug store make-ups ever. I like being able to shop high end and drug store make-up all in one place. And dont forget the haircare supplies. You can even find the guys in your life the latest colognes and facial care.

Great mix of high end designer makeup and hair care and other brands from around the world. Enjoy their rewards card also. And their hair salon led me to my favorite hairstylist, Ashley.

Staff not helpful to a older woman looking for a drink of water before shopping on very hot day

Yesterday I came in to get my eyebrows waxed. In all the years I’ve gotten them done at other places and wasn’t happy, today I’m very happy with the results. I won’t be going to any other places. The staff I encountered were so friendly and helpful. I really appreciate how I was treated as a customer. Ariel does an extroidinay job on eyebrows. I will be going back in the future.

It is a very nice business to frequent. Smells wonderful. I like the employees. They are very helpful anytime Ive ever needed something and couldntlocate it inside the store.

They are never in stock of product. A lot of non test products are broken and gross. Really hard to find someone around to help you with needs. Overall it’s not the greatest but not the worst I’ve seen.

I think the people that work there were stuck up and extremely rude. I felt like they were looking down on me as if I couldnt afford to shop there. First I couldnt get anyone to help me. Then when I did find some one, she wasnt paying attention to my questions. She wanted to show me less expensive items then what I wanted. They did not carry mascara in dark brown in any of the brands I was interested in, not one. I ended up leaving with out purchasing anything due to the rudeness. Very unhappy I was. I had heard so many nice things about the place. They must have been talking about a different store.

Usually, I walk through the door and get asked by 10 different people if Id like help finding anything. Today, no one asked me. I was wearing sweats.

I’m going with a 4 star because I love Ulta so much! But sometimes the employees can be rude. I feel like they are only nice to you if you have a full face of makeup on. Only one time I had an employee be rude to me and I went in with no makeup at all. Any other times when I’ve gone in with a full face of makeup always super nice to me. But every time my mom goes in they are so rude to her, she doesn’t wear a full face of makeup, she likes to look more natural. Also another thing is they won’t price match their own website. My sister and I went in to get shampoo and conditioner and it was buy 2 get 1 free but excluded the bigger bottles, online had the bigger bottles for the deal. Another time I went in to buy a eye shadow palette online it said it was on sale, when I went to purchase it, it came up full price and I showed the lady that online had it on sale, she was annoyed and “called” her manager to ask and see, they couldn’t do it in store even tho it was the deal online.

I would have given this place a better rating but the thing is that they have much better prices ONLINE than they do in store and they do not honor any online pricing.. so i wont be shopping in store other then shampoo and basics you do not want to wait on mail for

I was just in today to buy some Christmas gifts, as I was browsing for gifts I decided to look at some concealers since I needed a new one. All was fine at first was greeted, as I was looking for the right one that matched my skin tone, I noticed some of the employees were just staring, I was in the store for about 30mins, I get caught up looking at makeup, later I see that the security guy is just keeping an eye on me as I try out more makeup, i should have said something then, but I’m thinking to myself maybe I’m just overthinking, so I get the gifts I came in for, proceed to go to the front to pay for my stuff, the security guy talks to the manager, overheard him say “she’s just looking around and trying stuff on” that’s when I knew they were talking about me, so I head to check out as I’m paying he just keeps staring, then as he sees me get my bag of things that I PAID for he leaves. It’s uncalled for to assume just by looks that someone is going to steal something, I had my small purse, you really think I’m gonna steal something?! No. I always pay for my things, if you’re going to assume at least ask “do you need help finding something” not just call security because of my looks, sorry I didn’t get glamed up to go to the store after work.

I was walked to the location of the mascara I wanted which was nice, except she then wouldn’t let me just grab the mascara I wanted. She made me point and tell her what I wanted and she would grab it for me. The product was like right in front of my face but she wouldn’t let me get it myself. And then she hastily walked away and did not even offer to help me look for anything else I needed so I just left. Bizarre interaction. Very little desire to help customers. First time to this location, might try one more time but that was a little too weird for me. I’ve gone to other locations and have never had an issue til I visited this one.

I am really shocked to see the bad reviews previously written on this place. This evening was the first time Id ever stepped into an Ulta store and let me tell you I cant wait to go back! When I walked in an employee helped me find what I was looking for right away. All of the employees were friendly, upfront about the products and not pushy like other make up stores/counters. Im was very pleased when I left and will be back soon!

I’ve given this place multiple tries and each time I am in here, I receive the most awful customer service. The employees are rude, do not acknowledge you, and act like you’re an annoyance when you try to get by them for product. This time I was in there for over thirty minutes and still had not been asked if I needed help. Honestly the business is losing money by hiring such rude people. Overall this place is full of snooty employees.

I love ULTA make up but would rather by online verses going in the store. The people there are all rude and think they are better than me. Terrible customer service. On my last visit there, i was buying a product that, on the shelf had one price, but at the register, it rang up at a higher price. I said something to the employee, she called her manager, who quoted the higher price, i again said the price on the shelf was different. The answer i got was basically oh well. They charged me the higher price. After i checked out, i went back to the shelf, sure enough the product was on clearance and had a lower price sticker.Employees have been rude on several occasions

Ive spent over $1000 in the gresham location in the last 6 months, I called yesterday to give the salon part a try and the young lady assured me they take walk ins, I arrive theres only 1 client and 1 stylist who wasnt very friendly, she didnt even give me the option to wait, I got no openings and she walked away to go finish her conversation with the client she was with,Why send coupons stating your a platinum member to only treat your customers like we arent important and the coupon expires tomorrow for 1st time customers, will have to discuss with my family and friends to start shopping at Sephora they seem more interested in the customer

Love that Ulta is on the side with the larger parking lot so its usually not too hard to find parking. Really happy with the amount of products that they do have in stock -- especially the IT Cosmetics aisle.

I went in for an highlight and cut. The cut was very cute. The highlights... not so great. I explained to the stylist my hate of brassy blonde. I prefer cool blondes. She said she understood completely. But it’s very brassy and not all want I wanted. I would get my hair cut again but I am on the hunt for some one who knows color.Update: I was contacted by Janae the salon manager. She went out of her way to get me in to correct my color. She did a fabulous job. I was so impressed that she cared enough, to not only reach out to me but to go so far to make it right. I have my next two appointments with her. I have found my new stylist! This was the essence of customer service. Thank you so much Janae!

My absolute favorite store! The staff is extremely kind and helpful. The selection is unbelievable, they carry both high end and drugstore brands. There is haircare, skincare and of course lots of makeup.

I was so dissatisfied with the customer service here. I came in for a specific product that I know Ulta carries then when I couldnt find it I tried to find a sales person to help. There were several ladies one that walked past me twice to help other customers. It was my intent to spend a significant amount in that store but I walked out empty handed and spent my money elsewhere. I will not shop at this location anymore this is not the first poor service I have had here.

I took one star off because Ulta let me down again! I scheduled an appointment at the Ulta Salon 3 weeks in advance because I was going to be in a wedding. On the day of my appointment, I waited 30 minutes for a simple eyebrow wax before I decided to leave. I will not schedule any more appointments at this salon and I do not reccomend this salon due to very poor customer service.

I had the best service from Brandon at the ULTA Gresham store! He not only gave me great advise, but also saved me $$.

I am huge fan of Ulta! A great place to go get all your beauty supplies from drug store to high end brands. Was disappointed on how messy and disorganized this one was.

Its a hit or miss, I either get really great customer service or I dont. I always seem to get followed whenever I go in there and its ten times worse whenever I bring my siblings in. I tried to contact the office in Illinois but didnt get a response. I tried to ask one of the employees a question and she was focused on someone else the whole entire time and her body posture was not professional at all. I only go in here because its a lot closer than Lloyd.

I love Ulta! They carry the brands I love! Benefit, Lancome, Stila, Smashbox. Clinique, Tarte, etc. Its close to home. The employees are all friendly and beautiful. I just bought Coach Floral and it smells amazing! Thank you!

Im not sure where those other people went to provide less than stellar reviews, but they must not have gone to the same Gresham Ulta that I go to. Janae has been doing my hair for the past year--she is AMAZING! I get more compliments on my hair style, cut and color than ever. I completely trust her judgement and opinion--she makes me look great and I absolutely adore her! The staff, Stacey the Manager and the other women at the Salon are always polite and professional. I wont go anywhere else to have my hair done. Nice job ladies!

I Agee with other reviewers about rude customer service. Not all employees are bad but I’m horrified of one girl with eyeglasses and her hair color is greenish or bluish. I think she’s one of the managers, She Was rude to me at least 3 Times. I think she’s a racist or something like that .... other employees were great.

Those going to the salon beware! When I went for a haircut the hairdresser I had convinced me to have them do my hair for my wedding. I had originally planned to get a blow out the day before and then do my own hair. Instead I agreed and they set me up with an appointment with the salon manager. All I wanted was a simple style of halfway pulled back and waves. The salon manager had to do my hair with my back to the mirror due to the length of the cord of the curling iron. He rushed through my hair and had to start over multiple times. When he turned me around I was horrified. It was terrible. Lumpy and ringlet curls not waves. It was all I could do to rush home and try to fix it myself. It made my time getting ready with my best friends feel rushed and not as enjoyable. I definitely dont recommend getting your hair styled by Roberto. Maybe he cuts hair ok but he definitely cant style it.

Ok place. More irritated with promotional products. I get quite a few emails with freebies attached and on the same day they send the email either theyre out if it or never got the shipment for the product. And say they will never get the shipment. I like free stuff but when they never have it, I get irritated.

Rude employees that made me feel uncomfortable. Havent been at my best lately that left me a little depressed. I left feeling worse cause how they treat people on how they look. My coworker had a similar experience involving her teen daughter

Honestly I wish I could give a better rating because of location and staff but they are ALWAYS out of stock of anything I need. Ive never gone there and been able to get everything I came for. I check the 6 surrounding stores and they always have everything on hand. So annoying.

Just went into the store. Asking for a product line to a sales lady who was standing talking to another employee. She pointed in the general location of the item I needed. There was several employees standing around. They only seem interested in the 20-30 year old customers. After not receiving any help I left without finding what I came for or making any purchase. They made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed.

I wouldnt even give this Ulta one star. Mostly because of what I went through. I walked in wanting my eyebrows waxed, so I was assigned to a lady in the salon area of the store. She asked me a few questions before we got started and started the waxing process. After placing the wax under my brows and ripping it off quickly I noticed a burning/ stinging feeling and let it pass so she could confine waxing. After she was finished waxing, I noticed the burning feeling wasnt going away so I asked for a mirror. After taking one glance at the mirror of what she has waxed off I was completely HORRIFIED! She had waxed off the skin along with the hair making it completely raw and bright red. She tried to reassure me that i must be having a reaction? Uh no! She completely tore the skin off and tried putting on some kind of cream which made it even worse! Once I told her I was finished with after seeing what she had did and how much pain I was in she took me to the cashiers desk and said shed take 10% off which was a total rip off after everything that happened. I dont like writing negative reviews but this really irked the geewiz outta me. The way she handled herself and how she treated me like it was my fault my skin ripped off with the wax.. cmon. I get waxed every 2-3 weeks, this has never happened to me in my 8 years of being waxed. Never again will I be stepping foot into this store. Ill attach a photo onto Ulta google page.

They do a terrible job of keeping up on their stock. Its often messy. They have too few employees at the register, resulting in long waits in line. They also call security every time teenage girls come in to shop. My daughter is intimidated to shop there even though shes a regular customer.
