I called to get a recall service done on my Honda generator. They said they usually only service equipment that was bought there. When I called Honda they said that any place that deals in Honda equipment should service the generator.After a few days they called back and said “okay we can service it, but it’ll be a few weeks at least”. I had already called Pape machinery which is just down the street, they said they could do it no problem, got it done within a week (because they had to wait for Honda to ship a decal) and were very friendly and helpful.I would highly recommend staying away from Moen, they are not friendly, and they are not helpful at all.Just compare their ratings and reviews on here if you want proof.Best of luck to y’all.

Ive purchased a number of items from Moens. 10k generator, wheeled roto tiller, and most recently a log splitter. They have a good shop I think, if you take your item in to be worked on. The sales force is good at what they do-they really know how to sell. But, try to get an answer by calling in to help trouble shoot is not very satisfying. I buy there because they have a service department, but you have to go through the counter help first, and, they try to be helpful, but they cant answer questions. I would like to see more emphasis on service, and less on making money. I give it a 4 star., but mostly because the alternatives are even worse.

AVOID DEALING WITH JUSTIN. I wish I had read the reviews before going here for a tractor. Justin is a flat out liar. He will lie to your face and over the phone. Lied to me for two weeks. Me or anyone I know will ever give Moen any of our money. If you absolutely have to buy a tractor from them, go talk to Drew. I went elsewhere and got the same tractor.

Not a good experience. Took my lawnmower in on April 22 for annual service for what I was told would take about 2 1/2 weeks. After numerous calls and visits I was called n told it was ready on 6/7. When I went to pu I was given someone elses mower in error, when I pointed out the error I was told mine was not done yet. So I used the loaner mower they offered. When i inquired about my mower when taking the loaner back at first I was told it was not done, further checking revealed it was finished so I was ultimately able to get my mower done after roughly 7 weeks. Just seemed like a comedy of miss information and delay, and the only explanation was weve just been very busy .

Visited Moen to remedy a Manufacturer Recall on my HSA65 Hedge Trimmer. With email assistance from Stihl customer service, a little attitude and two additional trips to the store I was provided with a replacement trimmer. Overall not a pleasant experience but a satisfactory outcome.

Purchased several stihl products from this location. Purchased a weed trimmer and had a new head attachment installed. After one month there was a problem with the new attachment they installed. Took it in to get assistance and they told me it was damaged and it would be too expensive to fix. Tried blaming me for damage when they were the ones who installed it. Item was used for less than a month. Went back in to talk to them and try and get things resolved. They again blamed it on me and sent me home with my broken equipment. Left the store and went to Pape and bought a new replacement. Take your business to a place they want it. Unfortunately that is no longer Moen.

Everyone please read the reviews. They are all true I read them and thought I would be able to get a machine and prove the reviews wrong I was totally in the wrong. My credit was ran and I was told that there was two machines available at that time. then there was complete Black hole couldnt get a hold of anybody Justin wouldnt respond Justin lied about the machines. after multiple attempts finally got a hold of the manager made a complaint and he told me they never had the machine. They ran my history without even having the machine they said they had. Please please be aware do not go here because you will get screwed and you will lose multiple weeks before you find out that you got screwed just like I did. I have also made a complaint with Kubota.

I was a prospective customer of moen machinery looking to purchase a kubota L4701 with a BH92 backhoe installed. The samesman was nice and helpful the first time i met with him and things started going downhill from there. The man i was working with became increasingly unavailable. The people answering the phones kept me on hold for almost a half hour before informing me that my salesman would call me back when he had the chance and when i did receive the call it was at 430 pm; i called at noon. In the lot we reached an agreement on the trade in value for my old tractor and i said ill be back in friday and we shook hands- even after the way they were treating me. He promised i would have the final quote that night but at this point i was not surorised when i had to call yet again the next day to request the final quote. When i finally did receive the final quote the trade in value we discussed for my current tractor was cut in half which made the deal untenable for my family. I called him back (i had to try three separate times) and asked him to honor his word; he tried saying that he never said that price and that the price on the quote would stay.Neesless to say i am very dissapointed in the quality of service moen machinery provides and i will not be giving them any current or future business. Shoppers be warned.Maybe Ill go and look at a deere or massey..Reply to a previous reviewer. -i second you! Justin is a LIAR!! Do nit do business with this greasy snake.

Thinking about making a purchase from Moen Machinery in Gresham Oregon? Worst purchase ever! I only write this review in hope of saving others from the experience I just had. First of all, DO NOT TRUST JUSTIN he is a liar. We purchased an excavator in April. At the time of the order we were told it would take 3 to 5 weeks to get the thumb attachment and the two buckets we ordered with it. 5 weeks pass with no call, so I call Justin, this is where the lies begin. He told us parts were coming slow because of COVID, which is understandable. Two weeks pass, no call so I call him and I get the same story. Finally, in late June the thumb has been installed and the only reason I know this is because I drive past Moen on my way home from work and see it sitting in the yard. (the store was closed) The next day I call Justin, AGAIN. He says, he was just getting ready to call me. I ask when we can expect delivery and asked to make sure the buckets we ordered had arrived as well. Justin says yes the buckets were delivered, but he would go outside and make sure. He then tells me one of my buckets must have been accidently given to another customer and he will have to reorder it. He said it would take two weeks to get it, but if I wanted he would deliver the excavator with the one bucket and deliver the other when it arrived. So the machine is finally delivered early July, but… with the wrong bucket. The bucket that was on it was not either of the buckets I had ordered. Justin tells me, sorry for the mix up and that he did not have either of my buckets at the shop. He then says he just got off the phone and one bucket would take two weeks, the other three. After this I call Justin back every two weeks. He tells me stories like, I just got off the phone with the delivery company and the buckets are on there way, or the buckets are in Clackamas in a shipping yard and we expect them today. Fast forward to October I give Justin my biweekly call, this time he tells me sorry he does not know where my buckets are, but he has a local company that will build them. He asks me if I am ok with ordering the buckets from this company and I agree. (I just need the buckets as my machine is sitting and I can’t use it. I have missed the entire summer to do the job I bought it for!) He says ok he will order them (another lie) and it should take two weeks. Three weeks later he calls me, (the first call he made to me this entire time) and tells me the bucket is done. He only ordered one of them, so more lies… the other will be ordered today. One month later I call back, Justin acts confused saying that I had both my buckets and he did not realize I wanted another one. I remind him about the bucket order, so now he tells me the company that was supposed to make the bucket could not get the materials. At this point I am finally able to talk to one of the owners, Cindy. (I had left numerous voice messages for her through this process with no reply!) This time she does call back, tells me she has no idea why I do not have my bucket and orders it. Less than two weeks later I get a call saying my bucket has arrived, two days after that I get a bill for it in the mail. This bucket that we had been waiting for nine months for, was part of the original deal, I had already paid for it, so then I had to deal with this new issue. I ordered my excavator in April 2020, was finally able to use it January 9, 2021. To add serious anger to the situation, I had to send my son, a hundred and twenty pound young man to get the bucket for me (as now Moen wont deliver the bucket) and Moen Machinery didn’t help him lift the approximately 150 plus pound bucket into the back of his truck? He had to do this on his own! Do not purchase anything from Moen Machinery because JUSTIN is a LIAR. The sad thing is that some of this was likely out of his power, but he would just NEVER tell the truth. I was lied to, disrespected and ignored for months and months.

Took in Honda lawn mower to install new blades. When I tried to get the nuts on the blades loose they were so tight it took a great effort to get them off. While doing that found out the blades were askew so they cut unevenly.

We are really happy with the service we received at the dealership the day of the sale. Justin is our salesman, he was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He understood the use we had for the new tractor and even threw in the three point hitch for our needs. Handed Justin the check for the entire amount of the purchase, scheduled for delivery and instruction three days later. Upon delivery, the driver was surprised to learn he was supposed to provide us with a tutorial. The bucket would not disconnect, the driver did not know how to adjust it.. no big deal to us, Justin will be out later to adjust it, and he did. Before he came out, we noticed that there was no pin for the three point hitch, again, not a problem to us, called Justin, said hell bring it with him. Justin forgets it, says a driver will drop it off in a few hours. Again, not a problem, we are all human. Weeks go by, no pin. Multiple calls, cant get through to Justin or a manager, no pin. Finally, get a hold of Justin, it will be in the mail tomorrow. A week later, NO PIN (we are in Clackamas, a day away via USPS)! Multiple phone calls, again, cannot get a hold of Justin or a manager. Finally get Justin, says he will email a tracking number for UPS shipment. At this point....No email.Tomorrow marks one month that I handed over a check.The service to get my money....EXCEPTIONAL!The service after the sale....NONEXISTENT!

Avoid this store! I have spend well over 30k in this store and am in the market for another tractor for nursery business. I bought a new chainsaw in Friday (Stihl) and it broke on its first day of use. I took it in on Monday and they want me to pay a hundred dollars an hour for a brand new chainsaw used to cut branches! Shame on this establishment. Dick’s Logging in Estacada gives much better service. I will go back there. I started going to Moen machinery as I bought my L-series Kubota tractor and four implements here. Now, I will have to find another Kubota dealer for my parts and new machinery. I would suggest spending your money where you are appreciated and service is good. You deserve it!

Stopped there to look at Stihl leaf blowers. Justin was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. Most important was I learned about what gas to use in 2 cycle engines to prevent annual gum-up which results in annual small engine repair costs.

I have no way of knowing what other customers expected from Moen. I can honestly say that from last year when I had my chainsaw sharpened till today when my BX series tractor was delivered, two days ahead of schedule, NICE ! That every time I entered the business all the employees and Greg, the owner were working on something, yet I was always acknowledged promptly with, Well be with you in a moment or helped immediately! Was it a perfect experience? NO! Ive yet to have that anywhere. They are real life human beings. Knowledgeable, professional, courteous and I can honestly go on record stating that, I will not hesitate to refer anyone interested in the products and services that they provide !!! Purchased a chain saw Blade, turned out to be the wrong one and it damaged the bar on my chainsaw. They took the used blade back but didnt offer to replace the damaged bar, or offer a discount on a replacement. Would have liked to see that type of ownership being demonstrated and was disappointed. Otherwise the operation seems professionaland well staffed. The person who sold me the blade was new and was coached in proper blade selection while i was there.

I had dropped of my tractor for service with a complaint of low RPMs and a misfire.When it came back it was running better but the RPM issue was not allthe way fixed, they came back out that day picked it up and fixed it and brought it back with out delay. Yes the first service didnt fix it all the way but when informed of the issue they went above and beyond to make it right... to me that says a lot.

My husband and I just recently purchased a tractor with a backhoe from Moen Machinery in Gresham and the customer service was amazing. The staff was very knowledgable. Greg was great to work with, he wasnt pushy like a lot of salesman are, he was very helpful and the financing was painless. I have never been on a tractor in my life and when we did the training before you take your tractor home, I wasnt treated like I didnt know anything and I learned so much Robbie was very patient explaining everything thoroughly, and he was able to answer all my questions. We picked our tractor up just before all the winter storms hit and I was able to practice using it while plowing snow. We love our new tractor and it will be an awesome addition to our Farm & Garden. Thank You Moen, we will definitely be back!

I have been dealing with Moen for over 30 years and have always left feeling good. I have purchased both a Kubota 2950 as well as most recently a 3800 along with other equipment needed for my farm / nursery. I broke a part on my Demco sprayer and went to Moen for a replacement which they did not have in stock. Rather than order the part and have me wait, Greg the owner, removed the part needed from a new sprayer they had on the rack to keep me up and running with no delay. I have rarely encountered such great customer service. Thank you Moen.

Well I’m very disappointed I’ve used mowing machinery in the past purchases. I recently picked up a fiskers machete. I was trimming small Limbs off larger limbs to reduce my brush pile. I then noticed giant gouges in my machete like I was hitting steel or rock witch I was not. Basically the edge of the tool is too thin to cut anything but berry bushes. I brought it back to moen to try and trade credit for a hatchet or small pull saw. They told me it is warentied by fiskers and I would have to call them. So basically not there problem I need to go some whare else. If your company can’t cover a 24 dollar saw what would have happen if I bought a 5000 tool. They are going to tell me it’s not there problem. Poor handling of customer not to give me options or have a chance to up sale me into a better fitted tool that will help me do my task. I’m usually not a complainer and really hate these reviews because some times they don’t cover the whole truth. Moen has let me down and I will not be shopping there again. Over a $24 dollar machete you have lost my business.

I purchased a tractor, RTV, and many implements from Moen in 2013. The people of Moen were helpful, experienced, and gave me excellent service. Next 2017 I purchased another Tractor, RTV, and implement from Moen and the excellent service and people were still there and provided excellent service. To be honest, I called several dealers looking for my needs and got the best price, service, and deal again! I never left the comfort of my home and had the tractor, RTV, and implement delivered to my farm. I will be purchasing from Moen again and highly recommend them!

How is zero stars not an option? We will never go through Moen again, and had I read these reviews beforehand & seen how Justin had already screwed other customers over it could have saved us a LOT of headache. We chose them because they were a few bucks cheaper than the next guy but lesson learned, you get what you pay for.Seven months ago we ordered a front loader for our Kubota tractor (just before Thanksgiving 2017). While waiting for it to arrive, my fiancé decided he wanted to wrap a backhoe into the same financing deal so we ordered a backhoe (and mounting bracket since our tractor is older) and waited on that. The front loader showed up after a couple months (which still seemed like an extremely long time) and as the months went by, my fiancé started getting frustrated that the rest of our stuff wasn’t showing up. He called & called but Justin was always ‘busy’ so he would never take calls, but leaving a voicemail was useless as he never returned them. My fiancé had to drive an hour & a half to the shop EVERY TIME he wanted to get a hold of Justin to find out where the rest of the parts were. Justin had an excuse for everything, and as the excuses got more extreme it was pretty obvious he was lying. They started with ‘oh it’s on a truck in Michigan, on its way here- I’ve talked to the driver personally & he has it on his truck’ then ‘I don’t know how but the truck passed our shop, it’s in Eugene already’. At that point we called corporate Kubota since we were getting the run around with Moen & corporate looked into it.It turns out JUSTIN NEVER ORDERED THE BACKHOE MOUNT. The last five months we wasted waiting for it to come in when we could have been using our tractor. Not only that, but Kubota had no record of our finance paperwork (though Justin assured us that it was good to go). We dropped off the tractor to have the front loader installed and we were supposed to pick it up the following Tuesday. Tuesday rolled around & go figure, it’s not ready. Justin says Friday. Friday comes & goes, tractor still isn’t done. FINALLY, we picked it up Saturday & will hopefully never have to return for warranty on it.

Sent in tractor to have bent heim joint replaced. Instead of replacing bent heim joint, they cross threaded the thing back into the hydraulic lever.Tractor almost killed me.DO NOT TRUST THEIR MEKANIX.

Horrible customer service, do not go to Moen Machinery. Brought a mower in for a repair estimate, and declined the repair after they came back with a ridiculously high quote. After I paid the $30 estimate price, they gave back my mower disassembled, with all the parts in a plastic bag attached to the mower. When I called them today to discuss why my mower came back in pieces, the Service Manager said it would be another $20 for them to put the mower back together again. I would highly discourage anyone from using this dishonest, shady business.

Repair of my saw took way longer than quoted and expected. Service manager said he had to take pictures and submit them, and that he had done that 5 days ago and was waiting for stihl corporate approval. I then called stihl myself and found out that it had been approved 9 days ago. I was completely lied to about the status by the service manager. I was then told it would be ready by the weekend, but when I hadnt heard back from them by the following Wednesday I called back again, and was told the part I needed was 3 weeks out. So I called stihl corporate again and found out that info was incorrect and the part I actually needed was available right away. I was then able to pick my saw up 2 days later. It still isnt fixed properly and is leaking gas and oil all over, which had NOTHING to do with the initial issue. The whole time the service manager had a horrible attitude and didnt seem to want to do any work or help. Also tried to talk to the owner during this time, and was never able to talk to him, always out of the office. I left a voice mail and never got a call back.

Horrible customer service.....and unknowledgeable regarding stihl products.This company sells Stihl equipment and they want to charge me a special order fee for items that they should have in stock. They want to charge me a special order for brush cutting blades. I have multiple other stores that do not do this but they insist that its a rule. And that rule is worth losing business and worth bad reviews?In addition..the sales manager definitively states he has the biggest blades stihl makes, unfortunately i informed him this was a 100% false statement and shows where hes at regarding stihl equipment( as he chuckles at me saying that). And i shouldnt need to pay special order.Then he says what he can do for me is....hide the special order fee into the price and i would never know it. Ive called multiple Stihl dealers and none of them charge a special order fee for these items.Horrible customer service.....and unknowledgeable regarding stihl products.

Terrible place to buy a tractor! Called sales guy Justin and got quote on new tractor and backhoe. Went in and signed papers for financing and was told they will have everything ready in 10 days. I called to see when I could come get the tractor on the 9th day and was told that they didnt have the subframe for the backhoe. I was told that it would be there in 3 days and then it would be ready. Sales person Justin said he would call first thing in the morning several days and let me know whats going on and never heard from him! I had to call him and he was always busy. He then said they get the parts in between 8-12 and he would call me first thing. Once again no phone call. I called at 1:30pm and was told by another sales guy that no parts came in and he would have Justin call as soon as he gets off the phone. So no call from Justin so I called back at 4:38pm same day and Justin told me the part just got in. So he said they are working on it and he would call tomorrow and let me know. No phone call again so I called at 1:00 to see when I could come get the tractor and Justin said that they sent the wrong part with the right part number and he didnt know when he would get the right part in! What a joke!!!!! I unfortunately had paid for a box scraper already so I went to pick it up and noticed that the tractor that I was going to buy had not been moved from the spot where I had parked it 2 weeks prior because I scooped some gravel and left it sit there and all the stuff was in the same place! I told him to cancel all my stuff because I was not going to deal with the BS lies!!!! I took my business to Rickreall farm and they are sooooo much better and they will have everything ready in 3-4 days! Moen machinery will never see me again! Lost out on $29,783.00 sale because of the BS lies!!!! Oh well so much for a good small business. Worst place for buying anything kubota!

We bought a new Kubota tractor with bucket and mower from these guys. They said it would be ready early the next week, but it ended up taking over a month. First they said they were waiting on the right wheels to come in, thats all. Then the wheels were in but they were waiting on a bucket. If you need to do business with these guys, take their timeline with a grain of salt.
