Ive been here many times in the past few years since its literally in my neighbourhood. Everyone has been helpful and lumber prices are competitive. I appreciate that I can pick out my own lumber and even check out what they have before I purchase, and the quality of wood has always topped what Ive seen elsewhere. Additionally Im always surprised with what they have in tools and hardware and theyve saved me a trip to the big box stores several times.Recently I purchased quite a bit of Trex decking and not only were their prices very competitive, but the delivery guy, Carlos, is awesome. He has delivered here twice now, and Ive never seen anyone back a truck up my narrow driveway with such precision and care, and hes super friendly and detail-oriented.

This place has been my go to lumber store. For the last 25 years Camps has maintained quality with reasonable prices. Just bought 1.5 pounds of 1 inch sheetrock screws for $3.50, better than you can do at a big box. Yesterday I bought a 4x8 pegboard - Home Depot didnt have a single sheet

I have never shopped here. A week ago I called to see if they had the Lumber I needed for nine large raised bed gardens. The woman that answered the phone rudely said yes and immediately hung up. I then called Parr Lumber and they also said that had what I needed but were far more polite and thanked me for calling. I drove twice the distance to do business with them because I value good customer service. They will get my business for my next project as well. You can do better Camps.

I purchased an order of deck making materials today. Carlos assisted me with the entire order. I was impressed with his enthusiasm and efficiency. He was polite, knowledgeable, and courteous. I was quite impressed especially since he said he was a new employee.Great job Carlos.John Freuler

These guys are the real deal and yall should avoid the big box competition and instead support this local business; theyre an outfit you can trust. You wont be coddled by staff, but theyll do their jobs and help you figure out what you need to know for what youre working on around the house. Highly recommend Camps for your lumber and DIY homeowner projects.

Its is the best lumber yard around. A small local business. Old school service and values. The staff there is awesome.

I called and a lady answered and she clearly was not busy... regardless I had a simple question to ask. I was looking for a very small push nut washer wondering if they carry any??.. (roughly an eighth inch) she had to take my # down for a sales rep to call me back.. For a 2 second question. She waisted more breath on talking to me while taking down my name and # then she would have if she just answered my simple question. Waste of time if you ask me. And Im curious as to how she works there and does not have the proper knowledge of there products.

CAMPS LUMBER IS Better than any big box store as far as selection, customer service and knowledge when it comes to choosing building materials. I choose to buy from camps first because of the employees knowledge base and its a locally owned business.

Horrible. They were rude to EVERYONE & behaved as though we were interrupting their party. As I waited in line to pay for my item and witnessed the onslaught of condescension directed at two people with questions in front of me, I said loudly and with serious snark, This is why we shop locally instead of at the conglomerates, for the stellar customer service and witty repartee. I went there last summer, 2016 and would never go back.
