Terrible attitude and terrible customer service. Refused to make an appointment for an oil change. I work out of town and I need to do this by appointment only. I asked to speak with a manager and she refused to let me do that too. She also was very under informed about her job and when asked questions she had no idea what I was talking about. I would not recommend this Firestone at all. Wish I could give 0 stars!!!

I bought a very expensive set of tires here a year ago, I went in to get a nail out of one of them not asking for road hazard warranty I was willing to pay cash, was told 4 times in a row from several of the desk people theres no way we will be able to do that today was told any Firestone location will fix it

I definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone to get a wheel alignment from there, I paid for a wheel alignment and my to rear tires are showing thread because their so worn down!

Technician messed up the tpms in my 18 renegade on Sunday(3-7-21), I go back today (3-9-21), and the service advisor, nick was extremely dismissive and rude. Expected me to leave my car for a few hours for them to check a tpms system they messed up. Unprofessional, will not be back. Gotta find someone else to figure out what they did.

Out-of-towners with car issues and Todd and his crew came to the rescue.Traveling through New Orleans to Texas our 16 year old Ram trucks check engine light came on. After some quick research we stopped in, explained the issue and the crew fit us in. In top of that we met a local woman who was a 20-year customer of this particular Firestone and she raved. So we felt better (being out of towners...). Problems were diagnosed, the work could be done that day and the icing on the cake, Todd recommended a GREAT restaurant across the street for lunch. Sahara Cafe. OMG AMAZING FOOD, very reasonable and lovely owners/staff. We had a nice lunch, took a walk and by 3:15PM we were back in the road toward the Navy Base (retired Navy/Army couple) in Belle Chasse.What could have been a complete disaster turned out to be a very good experience. I now have this Firestones phone number in my phone as our go-to mechanic whenever we travel through Louisiana, which we do quite often.Thank you Todd, crew and staff and thank you Lucy the loyal customer and thank you Sahara Cafe!

Had an appointment scheduled on 6/2/20 forA simple oil change. Got there right on time and left the vehicle there. 2 1/2 hours later they hadn’t touched my car. Parking lot is full of junk cars. One has hand written sign asking someone to please buy. Staff is unprofessional looking and disheveled. Never again. Took my keys and left.

I really miss the old managers. The customer service has gone down tremendously, and I wish people would be honest when they are writing reviews. Ive been to this location several times and each time I felt like I was being hustled. These people charged me $100 plus dollars for a diagnostic test and failed to mention that my battery was old. One week later, my car stopped on me, and I had to get a jump. I went straight to Auto Zone, and the manager ran a FREE diagnostic test on my car. The manager instantly knew I had a BAD battery. Do you think they told me this information at Firestone? NO! As a woman, I am VERY disappointed in the way these managers try to capitalize off of their customers. It is very dishonest, and I do not appreciate this kind of service.

Wife brought her vehicle in at 945 a.m. for a previously scheduled appointment for 10 a.m., being that she was supposed to be the first appointment. It is now 3:53pm, same day as I type this...waiting in parking lot because no one is available to answer the phone. I figure six hours later is ample time to repair two rear tires slowly leaking air.Worst case scenario just replace them with new tires. She has their road hazard bs for them. NTB performed work in the past on our vehicles twice after Firestones techs.Lesson learned. Next time I will purchase my tires anyplace but Firestone.

I have used firestone for multiple cars that I have owned to help keep them maintained appropriately over the past 10 years.Every time I have attended this fire stone location, I am met with unusually long wait times. I am a very patient customer and loyal. However, This experience today has left me questioning whether or not I will ever return to another fire stone at all.This past weekend, Saturday, I made An appointment for an oil change at 9 am. I turned in my keys at 9 AMand sat down after speaking with the lady at the counter. She had informed me that the gentleman who made my appointment, put my order in as a “drop off “and I had to tell her that I was not dropping my car off but I was in fact waiting. The gentleman did not even ask what my preference was when I made the appointment.I waited an hour and a half and noticed that my car had not moved yet. I approached the counter and asked the young lady what was the hold up. They stated, her and another gentleman, that there was about a three hour wait even though I had made the appointment. Confused and frustrated by this, I asked what was the point of the appointment if I had to wait three hours. I then asked what day was the “slowest “day of the week. I was told Wednesday. I made my appointment for Wednesday evening. Today I showed up for my appointment only to be told that there was no appointment for me on the books and neither was there any time to accommodate me at all.I’m completely disappointed with the amount of time that has been wasted for one oil change and also the complete lack of concern on behalf of the employees that have inconvenienced my time on multiple occasions.

Asked to switch my stock tires and stock 20 chrome rims to a stock 20 black rim. I was told they can not switch a tire that size. Yet the tires on the truck are stock size also. Wow what can they actually do since they are a tire shop. Wow a tire shop just wow.....

Tried to give these guys another chance after a major incedent with my wifes van a few years ago. I needed some tires, guy sair 1.5 to 2 hours, 3 hours later, I called, no answer, walked back to the shop and car was still where I parked it. Not a great way to run a business.

I received took notch service here. They even filled up my moms tires after I picked my car up because they were low. They also didn’t over charge me like most mechanic shops do when A woman walks in. Really great service.

Came in late morning and bought 6 new tires for my dually. All bays were full with cars waiting so I thought Id be waiting till close. After only about 3 hours they were done and took $50 off my ticket. A week later I noticed that my simulator rims had been bent in 3 places but I hadnt noticed till then. Called them up to inform them and it was no problem, Go buy new ones and bring us the receipt, well cover it.

I used Firestone in other States and this store and the staff is the best. The staff are very knowledgeable and professional.

The clerk was very helpful....however when she asked one of the tech to help by mounting my tire he refused there for making me wait for someone else to help.

Quick service, friendly workers.I had changed the lower/upper control arms, the inner/outer tie rod ends, and the sway bar link myself for my truck. The only think I couldnt do is an alignment. To be honest I didnt even think of going to Firestone. I went to NTB first. Their machine went down so I googled and called them up on a Saturday night around 530PM. Asked if they can do an an alignment that day. Sure enough they said yes. I get there, and they take the truck that instant(nobody was waiting) after an 45 min the guy comes back all done, even corrected the steering too. Definitely would recommend for an alignment.

Went in to get my rack and pinion fixed on a Tuesday, but the next day my car was still making noise. Took it back 2 days later and they said to bring it in Saturday and they would take care of it free of charge. Was told multiple times it’d be done by Saturday easily, then get a call they need it till Sunday. Sunday get a call that they needed to keep it for lack of parts and would have it done Monday before 5 since I work nights. Called Monday morning, said they’d have it done by 5. No call and when I showed up at 6:20, needing to go to work and was told at 5:15 when I called that it’d be done in an hour, they go and tell me they need another half hour. Ended up almost being late and having to get a ride. Frustrated with the terrible service and don’t ever plan on coming back.

I have used this location several times for repair and general service. They always treat me fair and give great service. The repairs are done fast and correct the first time. Cant ask for anything else, I highly recommend this location!

This is the first time Ive gone to Firestone, and I am very impressed with the courtesy and professionalism of the management and technicians. I was not sold a bill of goods nor was I pressured into purchasing additional products or services outside of my intended visit. The prices are very reasonable and competitive, with no surprises on the final bill. The waiting area was very clean and comfortable, and the appearance of the store overall was welcoming. I highly recommend this Firestone Store.

This review is a warning to anyone, especially women, looking for tire assistance.The back tire on our car kept getting low, so my husband brought it here for repair. It took 45 minutes and 20 some dollars but we were happy with that, until the next day when it was flat again. I took it back and was told, though they might have said they fixed it, the tire was unrepairable. Not only that but the other tires were bad and I would need all four brand new.So I went to a Joe Schmo tire place, looking for a used tire as a temporary fix. But the guy there not only found and fixed the leak, but it took him 5 minutes and only charged me $6! The tire has been fine ever since.Shame on Firestone for charging money without rendering services, lying about work that was done and trying to take advantage of an unsuspecting female. We were going to buy a new set of all four tires from them, but given the circumstances, we will never be back and will caution anyone to steer clear. No pun intended.Follow up: my husband went a few weeks later to have our Jeeps tires aligned and rotated. He knew about my experience so marked the tires and lo and behold they did NOT do the rotation. We wonder about the alignment as well since the Jeep has been undrivable over 50 miles/hour, it starts shaking uncontrollably! We have lifetime alignment because we bought the tires there but will NEVER go back. Well pay for another garage to service it once we find someone more trustworthy.

Very helpful and accommodating, tires I wanted were not in stock, they had them delivered to the shop and waiting for me when I got there. Appt set for 4:15pm and they were ready to service by vehicle at 4:15pm! Excellent job with tires.... baking a Boston cream pie... not so much.

Im not the kind of person who frequently uses superlatives, but this was the most HONEST car maintenance experience Ive ever had. The staff here are committed to excellence, and it shows. Plus, free wifi and a nice waiting area. Will definitely return next time I need an alignment or tire service. Highly recommend.

My wife went for an oil change. After 7 hours, she went back to pick up vehicle. She paid for it, but oil was never change. I actually found new oil filter in vehicle. Thieves!

I am from New Mexico and I travel to visit my husband due to hes working there in New Orleans. Everytime, I take my car to Mr. MANNY, he finds the problem and fixes the problem. Hes very courteous, caring, respectful and does the work on our vehicles in a timely manner with a great price. He knows his customers by name. My husband and I only trust him with our vehicles. We recommend this place with 5 stars. Thank you Mr. MANNY and his co workers for all that you do for us. We know we are safe in our vehicles.

Be careful - I agreed to an oil change the next thing you know they have the car up in the air and took all the wheels off trying to force up sell a tire rotation. The guy had the stones to tell me that you must rotate the tires to do an oil change.

The customer service agent was friendly and knowledgeable as was the mechanic. The facility was clean. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because of the 45 minutes I had to wait just to have a punctured tire plugged.

The technician was extremely HONEST with me about my vehicle. He told me that something could be wrong with my motor and he didnt want to charge me over $400 to make a repair that may not fix the overall problem. You dont know how much that meant to me to know that although I could have been taken advantage of but I was not!! Not all businesses can say they provide that type of honest service!! Thanks a million!!

Had a bit of problem driving to NOLA which caused some big front end issues and a flat. Brought mt car in Friday, dropped it off and by 4 PM Saturday it was done and safe to drive back to Va on Sunday.

Disgusting, I told the guy could I drop it off at 8, he said it will be ready by 10. Dropped it off got an attitude off the bat. 3 hours later car not touched and told me bring it tomorrow. I don’t understand what kind of establishment this is. RIDICULOUS AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!

This place is a joke. I paid for a lifetime alignment from Firestone years ago and I finally decided to go in and get it along with an oil change.When I returned to pick up my vehicle hours past the scheduled time they informed me that they did the oil change, but in order to get the alignment done I needed to pay them 1200 dollars for other services that needed to be done first or the alignment wont stay!They were even nice enough to offer me financing. I left and went to Pep Boys and they did the alignment and it is still aligned months later.If you want good honest service see Eddy at Midas on Lapalco or go to pepboys. Firestone should be ashamed of themselves for trying to rob customers with needless repairs.If you dont want to align my car for life dont sell lifetime alignments!
