Ive been coming here since the 90s. I dont consider them just a place to have work done but distance family.They will do right by you.Never have I had a issue.Recommend any type of work.Especially exhaust work Sonny is by far the best period!!!

My granddaughter a/c went out on her car. We got there and met two of the nicest people you can meet. The owner asked the mechanic Sherman if he could look at her car to see what was wrong and it did not take him 5 or 10 minutes to find the problem. I love their attitude and the service and time they gave us as customers. They were excellent. We have found our mechanics for our cars and truck.

My husband and I have been customers since Mr. Alvin Holmes was the owner and his son, Mr. Ronnie Holmes, is just as awesome!! They treat their customers with respect and not only do they do any excellent job with repairs, but they also do oil changes and other maintenance that cars need. They are truthful and will never mislead you. Not to mention their prices are much better than their competitors. I highly recommend everyone use Holmes Tire for ALL of their vehicle needs!!

I had $1800 worth of work done to my car in March of this year. I thought Mr. Ronnie and his staff were trustworthy due to having worked on my truck with any problems. Well, last week my gears stopped shifting in my car and I was stuck in the middle of the road. I called Holmes Tire & Auto and they had it picked up within the next hour. After not hearing from them for two days, I took it upon myself to call and ask what was the issue. I was told by Mr. Ronnie that my clutch master cylinder had gone bad and needed to be replaced. Me being female, didnt care what it was; and I just wanted my car fixed. He told me it was gonna cost me $393 for parts, labor, and the tow. I was pissed because Im a single mother of five and just couldnt afford to pay that much right now. I called around and found someone to do it for $200+ less. I let Mr. Ronnie know what was going on and that Id pay for the tow, but would be letting someone else do the work. He was fine with it and I was relieved. Over the weekend I spoke to a family friend about the situation who advised me that with them replacing my clutch in March, the master cylinder was included. I file all receipts on big purchases I make and had no trouble finding the ones from Holmes Tire & Auto. Well, I did have it replaced and had a 12 month / 12,000 mile warranty on it! Not once did Mr. Ronnie mention this to me. I was very upset because I trusted him and his ethics. I presented my receipt to him and he was nonchalant about it. He said theyll go ahead and fix it, but I have to pay for the tow! I will never use them again. People keep your receipts because they will try to get over on you!!!!!!
