I didnt expect to find such an amazing coffee shop in Griffin! Vintage New York style and great coffee. Really recommend for tourists!

I am a coffee lover, thus I am so picky about it. When I tasted their coffee here, I was so amazed for it has a good mix of flavor. I loved it so much! Thus, the next day, I invited my friends and I also brought my family here. If you enjoy reading books while having a cup of coffee, they have more interesting books here. Just come!

Needed a place to meet that wasnt loud so we could talk and hear each other. I had a coffee cake muffin and raspberry lemonade and he had coffee. Excellent service along with tasty eats.

One of the best local coffee houses that I’ve ever been to! Quaint but offers lots of seating and space to spread out. Great place to go and meet a friend or catch up on work.

Safehouse has some of the best coffee in the country. Those whove experienced the coffee culture of the Pacific Northwest will applaud the love and care the Safehouse fam put into their craft. Excellent atmosphere, prime service, and a superior product. Safehouse never disappoints.

The Americola was such an amazing blend of flavors and I enjoyed it more than any other cafe beverage I’ve had in quite some time. Great vibe to this store as well.

I think this place is hit or miss. Weve been here a few times and have had a single pleasant experience but last couple times were miserable. It took 25 mins to get our coffee this last time we were there. We ordered 2 lattes and there was one person in line before us. The service is terribly slow and the baristas seem miserable. Will not be back unfortunately.

Love that Griffin has a local coffee shop!These guys roast daily and carry a small selection of quality handpicked single origin beans. My ultimate favorite is the Bududa Uganda.Espresso drinks are fairly warm so if you like your espresso drinks to be hot, make sure to request.They also serve afagatos in the summer: Juicy espresso served over tasty ice cream!

Wonderful experience!! I used to come all the time and then my favorite barista stopped working there. Just recently she came back and Im so happy! She always gets my drink perfect, Ill take safe house over Starbucks any day! Thanks for always providing exceptional service Abbey!

I will give some credit as I do not really know how the coffee was because I walked out. In a place of business, you and co-workers should not be talking about politics and your opinions to the point of bashing those who vote differently. Therefore, I turned around and walked out. Political discussions and bashing of a certain political party of voters belongs in the break room. I refuse to give my money to a place which finds this behavior acceptable and will make sure I let others know.

The coffee here is amazing. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable. Staff is warm and gracious. Great place to get work done, create or just relax. Did I mention the coffee us excellent?

This is a wonderful place not only for coffee, but for studying. They have free WiFi and a quiet, sitting area upstairs. The coffee is always warm and delicious. They have vegan options for milk substitutes like soy milk. The staff is always friendly. This is a good place for groups to gather as well.

Came into the shop today. I called first and a pleasant young lady helped me with finding some freshly roasted beans. I drove 30 minutes to visit them. It was a great experience. I got into the shop to purchase the beans and a young man helped me choose them. He was knowledgeable and nice. He helped me choose them and explained his preference in detail so that I could make a sound decision. He even went as far to grind some beans for me so that I can imitate grind and brew at home. He even let me keep them! I can’t wait to go back!! A laid back experience! I can’t remember the young lady and young mans name but I will get it for next time!

This is a fantastic place to go for coffee. Its also a great place for meetings or studying. They offer free wi fi. You can also go upstairs for quiet study times as well. The coffee is always delicious. I love to watch then make it as it is quite different.

Good coffee served by expert staff in a gorgeous space. The pour over from Honduras was complex and balanced.

Very relaxing environment, great atmosphere, sometimes you can even catch someone practicing some acoustic guitar and it’s great. coffee is a little strong but good (i’m just not a huge fan of super strong coffee) but it’s no problem i can just add extra creamer. great studying environment and great staff

Great little coffee house in downtown Griffin. Friendly staff who know their coffee. In the morning they make a pot of coffee for quick turn around, but after 10 am or so they do pour overs. The pour over is more expensive, but it is also better quality. The loft area is quite and secluded. Perfect for study or working without distraction on your laptop. Highly recommended.

This coffee shop is easily my favorite to go to in town. There are always many friendly locals to chat with, the environment is such a laid back, classy vibe, and their coffee is absolutely delicious. Even the employees are the best.

Enter into the ma and pa shop you’ll get this whiff of freshly brewed coffee smell lingering around the shop leading you to the counter. Greeted by very social-able baristas knowledgeable of coffee of any kind. You can find a seat in the stop not to close to others so you can have alone time or write with significant other. I really recommend this coffee shop. They are better than any other corporate coffee shop .

Cappuccino on point. Came to chill and read/tablet games and wow couldnt sit still after cappuccino had to walk around and shop. Great environment and even better employees.

Very cozy little coffee shop snuggled in between the old shops of downtown Griffin. It can be intimidating to go there the first time because everyone is so young, but the staff is always very kind and helpful when asking questions about coffee and different brews. Very nice place for relaxing or for grabbing a nice cup before working on a ling paper. The dont do fast brews, so if youre looking for instant coffee this isnt the place to go. However if youre looking for freshly ground and brewed coffee with amazing flavor this is definitely this place.

Horrible experience! ! I was told by a friend that this coffee shop was the best. I walked in today and it was anything but a wonderful coffee experience. The staff was rude! And not helpful at all. I felt like I was intruding on their social time!! Was better off brewing out of my Mr. Coffee at home! I dont recommend this place to anyone!! What ever happened to taking pride in ones job??

I have enjoyed the wide variety of amazing teas at Safehouse for years and enjoy sitting out front enjoying the downtown area, however the last few times Ive done this the language used by most of the patrons (not the staff) was so foul and inappropriate that I will be getting my tea to go in the future.

Kate brewed a pour-over Fair Trade cup of coffee that was clean, bright, with a funky kick behind it. Safehouse is woody, relaxing, with wise choices of music playing, all for a pleasant morning cup.

A coffee lovers dream!I needed to grab a cup of coffee at the beginning of a looong road trip. I stumbled on this place by searching Google maps. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the equipment was state of the art, and the decor was coffee-shop perfect -- I could definitely see myself hanging out and working here for half a day if I were less rushed. The quality of the coffee was excellent: perfect clarity of flavor, and a lingering mouthfeel. It wasnt as quick as I was looking for (since it was a pour-over), but it was absolutely worth the small wait. My only regret is that I asked for a small before I knew what the sizes were: the small is smaller than a Starbucks tall, and I was left wanting more!Next time Im travelling in the area, I wont stumble on this place; Ill go out of my way to come back.
