An associate named Tony took excellent care of what I needed. He was thorough and knowledgeable and exceeded my expectations even thlugh they were short staffed. He replaced my battery quickly. He was professional and funny. I will return to this location for future needs.

I had a terrible experience with the AutoZone on grant st in gary in. This particular AutoZone made up for it. They were so friendly and super nice and helpful especially an employee named Mike. I will definitely make this my go to AutoZone. Sometimes you have to go out of your way to have a better experience. Thank you guys so much for being very friendly and knowledgeable. They said they didnt have front brakes just back ones I got there and asked again and they did have them

Now I don’t know much about cars. So I stopped in to get a new brake light and tail light for my truck. Not knowing what tools I would even need nor what kind of lights I told Michael Who was at the time consoling a coworker who was upset about his haircut because the barber put his whole new hairdo on the very back of his head. Michael then right off the top of his head knew exactly what tools and where the lights were located that I needed. It was amazing. He then taught me how to change them out while I was tending to my crying newborn. What an outstanding guy. I tried to tip the guy but he kindly declined and said its payment bought that I won’t be pulled over tonight and to get home safe. He then said hi to my crying baby boy and when their eyes met my little Steven stopped crying immediately and smiled for the first time. If that wasn’t amazing enough Steven said his first sentence “get in the zone” then I started crying. I’ve never gotten such good service at an AutoZone and I will be a returning customer. Thank you Michael.

I went to see of they had a tool to rent or use for screws that were top stripped for my throttle position sensor, Briana was able to get one screw out with a pair of vise grips, the other wasnt cooperating as the first, so Christian came out to help and took off my throttle body to reach the one screw and he was able to free the other screw and put my stuff back together correctly. I truly appreciate the help they gave. Definitely went above and beyond for me.

Nearly 40 dollars for a set of windshield wipers... that is way too much for 2 pieces of plastic with metal frames.

I went in there to buy a relay switch for my AC, I asked the young man if they checked fuses as I did not know which one it was. He said know, read the owners manual. I wont go there again.

I was basically met at the door when a hello how may I help you and it was very nice and when I bought my product add a young lady offered to help put the product on the vehicle. So I wouldnt mind going back there if all the employees whats like this one. I really want pan in the tissue to how clean the place was are where everything with that. But I would most definitely go back.

Usually have the parts you need, maybe not the advice you need. Its like a forum online. Hit or miss with the info youll get in these places. Always double check what they tell you. But its always good for a free OBDII scan so you know what to fix, generally.

My boyfriend needed a new battery in his Ford Explorer. The manager who was assisting us told my boyfriend that there was a special tool needed fir the job and he would have to get it done at Ford. We went across the street to Advance Auto Parts, where a much friendlier associate removed the old battery and replaced it in five minutes.I visited this place alone once fir fuses and the associate was unfriendly, so I bought what I needed from Advance.This place should be shut down!
