Super small. Store selection is slim to none. Meat prices are very competitive. Thats pretty much the only reason I go there.

People are very friendly! I love the service. I try to tip the baggers 10% of my bill because you cant get this service everywhere and that is how they make a living. What a blessing they are.

Is an inconvenient commissary. Produce is often rotting, lucky to have poultry stocked.

The employees are wonderful, super nice, and will chat and ask regulars how theyve been. Only two downsides. Its tiny. Super tiny. Could be used for a pharmacy. You walk in and you can see all four walls. Ergo, due to its size selection is extremely limited and theyve cut even more items recently. The second downside is the hours. Theyre closed Mondays and open from 9am to only 6pm Wed-Sun and 7pm Tues making it very difficult to get anything if you work. I do basic grocery shopping there since I live on base and many items are cheaper at a commissary (not fresh fruit). Due to its size it cant have everything so Im often making trips to the Super Walmart, Sams Club, and Keesler AFB Commissary 20min away. I recommend going to Keesler (open every day but sadly only 9am-7pm) for major grocery shopping once or twice a month as they have a very large commissary, huge selection (on the same level as a good Wegmans), same prices as Gulfport, and many speciality and gourmet items that are hard to find. I still do most of my shopping at Gulfport due to convenience, prices, and the employees treat you like theyve known you for years. I just have to go elsewhere on Mondays, after 6pm, and if I need anything not extremely common. All in all I do like Gulfport a lot. I just really wish the base was bigger so wed have a bigger commissary but then youd lose the comradery with the employees.

Standard items. Lines are usually short and move quickly.

You always feel like you are pushed into someone taking out your bags to the car. And if you do not tell them not to they seem to get mad.
