Hi there people. Stop & Shop is good when they have sales the staff is excellent except for slow Deli. My biggest problem is when you try to get an Uber there nobody wants to show up cuz I know youre going to take a little moment to put your stuff in their car and a little moment take it out. Just the tip use the pizza place next door as your destination not the Stop & Shop and there is no problem! I thought about it and no responses for Ubers its simple and easy you would anywhere will you need a moment to do your thing used to place next door when theres no business that needs anything else sorry for the long text but its amazing how much it works Im not sure if other people deal with that situation but I couldnt believe that I couldnt get an Uber from Stop and Shop all the all the best to you all good shopping thank God Stop & Shop does carry everything you need take care of people

I enjoy my local Stop & Shop.Always spotless, wide aisles.Friendly cashiers! Lots of food selections & great food bar itemsto choose from. Great place to shop!

Great bakery. Great produce dept. Limited meat department and no fresh fish. But overall a easy, quick shopping experience. Helpful friendly staff.

This store is thats kind the places you never know what kind the place.is.but surprise inside on these building you find all kind the stuff you always wanted if you are feeling lucky too you can buy lottery.and nobody know.try it.and good luck.

Location, Location, Location!It is in an easily accessible spot has ample parking and the layout makes it much easier to find things but although it isnt the worse Stop & Shop I have been to it is far from the best! I dont like how they place things here and the workers need to get out of the way of shoppers who need to get to things like carts. There was this spanish girl at self checkout I can tell that she wasn t too bright but at least she was patient and tolerable. Customer service was really speedy efficent and gracious.I think people come here like they do cuz the other stop and shops that they can go to are so bad they make this one look better.

Very clean nice store. Have alot of products. The only problem was no one to check you out. Only had self checking had a lady to help. Like it better the old fashioned way.

I am a bit disappointed in myself that I havent been coming here as much as I shouldve. The place is usually not crowded any time of the day that I have gone. The parking is great. They have a lot variety of products. The customer service and workers so far have been nothing but helpful and nice! My only thing is the pricing can be a bit higher but quality is good and otherwise no complaints honestly. I did have one incident with a car who parked ridiculously terrible and so close to my car that they scuffed my door a bit! That is on the person.

Wish there were more vegan meat options in the freezer section. You definitely need more Gardein products than just the Nashville hot wings. Theres so much more out there!

Great place to shop and great staff. Just very weird store I went with my older sister there two times and this creepy cashier which is a woman and a old guy seemed to know us and we never met them like ever. The woman/cashier told stuff about us but we never met her like ever and we never share personal details with anyone. Then there was an old man saying “not you two girls again” but he was saying it in a nice way but we’ve never met him so it kinda weird there.

Absolutely love this Stop &Shop!..its clean and I live the fact that you can scan and bag ur groceries as you go and I love that bc Im on a fixed income and tht totally helps me stay within budget!...the employees are helpful and accomadating!...

Nice clean store. I have to say though that it lacks the more extensive choices in some departments such as meats, seafood, produce, deli thats available in competitors such as Shoprite, Stew Leonards, Wegmans, etc. Prices arent too bad. Parking is good. Help is friendly.

I pick up my food here on a weekly basis and every employee Ive encountered has been polite and friendly and very careful placing packages in my trunk. They dont stack a heavy gallon of milk on top of a loaf of bread they are very careful and theyll hand me my eggs for the front seat I really appreciate that.

This is my go to store for most of my food shopping. Its clean, bright, & cheery. The staff are mostly pleasant (theres one woman whos nasty & slow so I avoid her) products are good & theres a self checkout which I love. If you use their product scanner, (on the right when you enter & scan your SnS card) you get a running total & a bar code when you check out. Awesome!

Not horrible, stuff was moved around, but thats just the business.

They made a mistake when processing my transaction thru WU and didnt try to fix it, As a matter of fact, they tried to put it on me the reason why couldnt make the transaction.I had to call WU customer service and it was confirmed that I didnt have any hold on my account.Why is so hard to just admit that a mistake was made instead of just put it on the customer?I went to Walgreens and my transaction was done in less than 5 minutes, definitely go always to Walgreens from now on.

This is my regular supermarket, as it’s the closest to my place and isn’t a huge crowd like Shoprites can get. I’ve had great experiences with the cashiers and customer service workers, very friendly and helpful. The deli workers are nice too, but so far I’ve had 2 workers that don’t know math. I ask for 1/3 lb (.33) of whatever meat it is; the first time he said he didn’t know what a third was, so I told him half to make his life easier. The second guy gave me .8 lbs, which is more than double than I needed. Please put some sort of conversion chart there or something. I think to avoid confusion, I’ll start saying .33 or something like that.*edited down another star. I’m getting sick of their deli. Ordered half a pound of lunch meat the other day from the kiosk, they gave me an insanely small amount, like .2 lbs instead of 1/2, which is .5. I had to return only a couple days later to get enough meat for the rest of the week. I go to ShopRite now, they’re cheaper, not that much farther, and actually get the deli orders right.

We bought lamb meat from here. The meat was spoiled and had very unpleasant odor. Shame on you for selling rotten meat to the customers. We had to trash $13 worth of meat. Please dont buy meat from this place.

The deli department has to retrain some of their employees, especially the lady that seems to be the new manager at the deli department. She doesn’t ask you how you want it cut and when you tell her you want it thin, she will turn up the dial on the slicer to make it thicker so she can rush you out. At over $11 a pound if I ask for it thin I deserve to get it thin. Seems to have a bit of an attitude when you question her about the slicing. Carlstadt has a better staff!

They get the job done. They also open at 6am these days which is great

The self checkouts machines are friendly. Much nicer than those at shoprite which bark out loudly remove that from the bagging area object not allowed wait for assistance and if you commit the worst sin of this year you have exceeded the permitted quantity of tissues. Put back that package immediately.

Employees are rude and inconsiderate. They claim their computer systems don’t work well and then they inconvenience their customers as if it’s our fault. I like Stop & Shop but the one in Hackensack will no longer have my business.

Wonderful supermarket, but I see there is going to be a Planet Fitness where the old Pathmark used to be, instead of Planet Fitness why can the supermarket be expanded and be called Super Stop and Shop... It would be much better for the area and the community..

A little busy but not too bad. Parking was a nightmare so keep that in mind. Also only the entrance by produce is open so avoid parking by the Pharmacy area you cant even exit from that end of the store.

Standard supermarket. Its smaller than most which I like because its easier to get around and find items.

Stop and Shop is a good store,but not nearly as good as Shop Rite. Theyre more expensive, but you can do well on some produce, and on sales for other items. Deli good,baking good.Shop Rite BETTER. More and better options.Groceries are notably more expensive. Have to look for sales when shopping here.

I like to shop here. Prices are resonable & theyre open until midnight during the week. Clean & safe. So far, so good!🤞🙏

There are not enough electric carts for people who cant walk. Especially in Lodi, NJ. Please add more of those carts in to the store. Its not fair to these people who cant stand, and have no cart available. 🎭.🛒🏷️💲🛵🛵

This store is ok. They have decent produce but they arent consistent about what they carry. As soon as you find something you like they stop carrying it. But the store is clean.

Stop&Shop, Hackensack, continues to be a clean, & well cared for In&out. Prices are a bit higher. The staff remains quite friendly. Its worth shopping there, checkout is usually quick.

Its a supermarket, not much to get excited about. Used to have a nice buffet.

The only positive thing about this place is the location. Yet again I bought another expired item. It has happened almost every time I’ve gone there and I waste my money. Make sure you check expiration dates because they won’t hesitate to sell you products that are expired. The produce is also some of the worst I’ve seen. Hard to find good picks and lots are almost rotten.

Live across the street go to for convenience. The staff is very friendly but I feel they do not have enough people working there ever. Also the salad kits in the salad section are always brown. It says they are not expired but I do not know what the issue is but maybe they get warm in the back or something. Definitely Is a ongoing issue. Prices are pretty high also but the late hours are great.

It is very disappointing and disturbing to still see plastic bags at the checkout area, plastic bags r a disgrace to our precious environment. This store should get rid of the plastic bags and encourage the customers to use reusable bags

I love Stop & Shop. It has a strong policy for fresh foods. They are always stocked with everything you need. Ive never waited a long period of time in the lines. Stop & Shop is on point and very convenient

The store is a bit pricey when it comes to meats and poultry. I would just get the basics and go somewhere else for meats and bulk stuff. The staff is friendly and the self checkout is excellent.
