The people were very helpful in finding the items I was looking for.

Ive spent hundreds of dollars here in the last 2 months and would have continued. But I just returned a new unopened item, and was charged 20% restocking fee. I work in retail and am familiar with restocking returned items. Theres no justification for restock fees 99% of items, let alone 20%. You just lost a customer and are providing great advertising for Lowes and home Depot.

One of those stores where its best to get ONLY what you came in for. If you wander around the aisles, your gonna spend more money.😁😁 Ive been pleased with everything Ive purchased over the years.

Ive been searching for months for a 10x20 carport type canopy. Looking at Lowes, Home Depot all over no luck. Never thought of Habor Freight but looked on their website and found one that worked for me and cheaper.

Had a warranty claim. Everything went easy. No problems. Salesman was friendly and professional.

Theyve changed so much. 20% coupons have disappeared as have their free items coupons. Still a better price on tools than most places.

Clean, and always stocked shelves. All your tool needs and the prices are fair. The road to enter the parking lot has toad work right now so getting in there is tricky but worth it.

This chain of stores is OK, but you gotta know what you want and be selective in what you purchase. Not everything is a deal. Not to be confused with a place youd go for home improvement supplies.

Great little tool store, they have home improvement stuff for cheaper than the other big stores.

They got some cheap tools, but look out for the low quality ones. I mean they got some decent ones too, but the low quality ones are super low.

Customer service was amazing!! There’s a new store manager and a new manager during the day! They both were very helpful during my shopping trip! I will continue to shop at this location even though a new one opened closer to me. It’s always great to receive amazing customer service! Also the store was very clean and fuller than it’s been in a year!

Aaryn and Jeff both are fantastic employees, they both went above and beyond my expectations. I go to a few different Harbor Freight stores and Hagerstown is the most organized and clean. It’s a shame other stores don’t practice customer service on this level, in my opinion Hagerstown sets the bar, and it’s up pretty high.

I usually go here in place of home depot or Lowes. I can often find the tools Im looking for with out paying a ton as well. They have more expensive things as well but they appear quality over quantity. On average Im finding I can get most things here a few bucks cheaper than the others.

Off the beaten path but worth a visit.I didnt realize this store was here until I was across the street at Lowes.This particular Harbor Freight is by far the cleanest and best stocked HF store that Ive been to.When I visited (on a Tuesday) it was well staffed and personnel were courteous, helpful and knowledgeable.Corporate should definitely consider signage or local mailings to bring awareness to customers in Hagerstown and to I-81w commuters.

I asked a staffer to help me find something but he wouldnt look it up or help me look, just told me to look myself. I asked again after I couldnt find it and he said he guessed we didnt have it. The products are usually pretty good and the staff is usually good.

Its a great place for Quality tools. I purchase all my tools here. Excellent prices too. The tools are top quality and if the tools should malfunction or break they will replace them for free. They have a wide variety of tools, ( hand tools, power tools, house hold tools, air compressors, car tools, hand trucks and dollies, plus a whole lot more). Go check them out.

Lots of tools wouldnt buy saw blades of any kind nor drill bits or screw driver bits but hammers and non precision stuff yes

Got what I needed quickly.

July172020 The cashier this morning held the line up while he demanded an email from a customer. The customer said he relay did not have the time. The customer finally gave the cashier his email. The cashier keep messing it up. I dont know if he was messing with the customer. The customer literally spelled out his email a dozen times. Then the cashier wanted to argue about it. The customer ended up not buying his items because of the cashier. When I got up to the check out the cashier was still complaining about it. He tried to pull the I need your email stuff with me I told him i would walk out also. This harbor fright has gone down hill recently.

Love shopping here. Have everything I need

Friendly staff that knows their products! Sure, you may question the low cost vs. durability on said tool but in my opinion, they do have a no questions asked return policy on them(just make sure its still under warranty of either the receipt or the in store extended warranty) & if unsure, they are glad to be asked about it!

They have some really good prices. I bought a solar outdoor light with motion sensors. Its pretty bright for my dog when she is out past the porch light range. I put it up in a tree where I know it wont be obstructed by leaves in the summer hours. She may not care about the light but I like to be able to see her.

Hubby loves this store! They seem to have good sales and a large selection of tools. Staff is always very helpful

I needed a XXXL tarp for my camper, I looked at a few places and I found one big enough to work at Harbor Freight. Personnel are eager to help you and are very friendly. All kinds of manly tools from tape measures to large saws and saw tables. Also they great prices.

Cool store if you like cheaply made tools, inflated prices and they blame COVID as the reason ex: latex gloves were $7/box a year ago they are now $18/box and say supplier raised costs but I bet they got these stored away in warehouses...I’ll gladly pay more at Lowe’s and Home Depot

This location is pretty clean both inside and out and has a good amount of stock for a smaller store. Staff is courteous and helpful, but this store seems to be understaffed at times which might be due to the amount of foot traffic at this store. The staff also looks overworked and overwhelmed at times, but I have never had a bad experience with any of them and they seem to work very hard for both the company and the customer. The more popular items on sale go pretty quick as do the free flashlights so its best to get there early if you are in need of something.

The store is interesting, prices are good. I could not find what I was looking for, and the girl in attendance could not help me.

If the sign says, Everything must go then they should sell everything in the store. Needed a 2ton lift, wouldnt sell the display. So they lost a sale of a motor also. Wont be back. It made me give a star. Went to tractor supply $20.00 more and definitely better quality.

A nice, bright and clean store. A good source for tools and hardware PROVIDED you remember that low price means it may not last as long as the high-priced stuff. (But I have had good results.)

You will find what youre looking for if it be tools. Mostly. Some people are nice, others not at all. But for the deals, worth the try. However its not always good quality materials that will last, but just enough to get the job done.

I am so happy that they built an Harbor Freight close to home. For years I had travel to the Harbor Freight on Lost Knife Road in Montgomery Village. Having the convenience to purchase supplies close to home is something I greatly appreciate. The staff and customer service at this location is great. Id recommend it to any one.

Good selection of cheap tools. Like anything else else you get what you pay for but these are good tools for use around the house or even some white construction work. Helpful staff is also a bonus.

Great harbor freight. I have about 3 closer stores to me but I choose to travel to this one. Much better layout to find what your after. Only takes me about 5 to 10 minutes to get my stuff and get out because of the layout of the store.

Tools are always fairly priced compared to other places. If you get their coupons its even better. Not the highest quality, but pretty damn good!

Awesome! You can always find great deals on some good products. I know everyone thinks the merchandise here is cheap and worthless, I used to have that misconception as well. I have purchased many things at this location in particular and everything Ive purchased has been well worth it and equivalent to much higher priced items at other retail stores. I got a great deal on a 3-ton floor jack and I put it to use all the time. It is the best floor jack I have. The Hagerstown location has a friendly staff. If youve never been there, give it a try and you will be pleasantly surprised
