Another pretentious coffee joint. Yay. Paying extra for a shot of flavoring. Ok, but not standard. Especially the amount. Asked for bacon on my bagel and it came straight out of the microwave. So, for a bagel sandwich and a large coffee, the bill was almost $17.

It’s a great local spot. Coffee and breakfast items taste great. Prices are that of a small-tourist town. Gotta pay to play to eat breakfast like kings!

Java is well worth a visit! Their signature drink, Bowl of Soul, is a delicious mocha with cinnamon, chocolate, and whipped cream on top. We also had breakfast burritos that were terrific. Fresh ingredients, local breads. Very friendly and excellent customer service.

My coffee is amazing.. and I wish I had gotten a bigger one!I also ordered a dirty hippie breakfast burrito. I now may have to make special tripsto Hailey ID for a fix. This place is great, and I highly recommend it.Staff was also very polite and accommodating. Love it!

Amaizing High on life inviting relaxing atmosphere, tables inside and out, cushioned arm lounge chairs... amaizing friendly service. The coffee is, well i go to the city of Hailey for there coffee... i live 60 miles away fml. But every chance i get man... oh! Oh! Oh! they have a seriously tiny backery with the most delishious organic whole grain pastry selection!! Love it!!! Oh and if your lucky they have day old deals... like two muffins for the price of one, but they are in a sack and you dont fet to choos your combo... but, Thats ok, everything is labled... i would have put a picture of the muffins i just ate but i decided to do this after they were gone...

Disappointment from the start. Line was long, only one person making coffee on a Sunday morning. I waited 25 minutes for two coffees and a muffin. Staff was friendly but I couldnt see a coffee menu until I was right at the register. There are no descriptions for the coffee unless you go online and their website is not very phone friendly as well as slow. I ended up just getting a cold brew but they had NO heavy cream, just half and half. Not comparible at all and absolutely disgusting. I refused any additives so I could just put my own cream in when I got home. I wasnt dying to go to the one in Boise and Im certainly not dying to come back to this location.

We had an advertisement page from Sunvalley Magazine that featured a Java Coffee and Cafe eggs Benedict, latte and scone. We drove there to order it and 2 gals working there said they dont make it. I showed them the advertisement, but said, its just a generic picture and not what they make. I said we drove all the way there for to this item. No apologies. I began to ask the dark haired lady about the other items on the menu and she said they close the kitchen at 12pm. It was 12:09 and she didnt even mention it the closure when I first asked about the eggs Benedict. Not a nice experience.

This place is a home away from home. I didnt appreciate the drinks enough when I was a local. Now, I travel the world and the states, and Im just trying to find a coffee shop that measures up to their bowl of soul or house-made chai. When I come back to town, this is one of the first places I go. The staff is always wonderful.

Best coffee shop in Hailey. This is our go to place during the day when we want coffee or a latte, which taste excellent. Prices are good, service is fast. Outdoor seating in summer. They get busy @ 10 AM, but there always seems to be enough tables. There is what should be considered a unique selection of background music from class R & R to current popular tunes. The sun seems to shine here all summer and most of the winter.

Went into Java and loved it. McKenzie was amazing. I didnt know what I wanted and I told her just to make me something good and she did! It was fantastic and she was so sweet. Highly recommend this place!

I really enjoy getting their famous bowl of soul which is Mexican hot chocolate, espresso shots and drip coffee. The pumpkin spice latte was also delicious. I really liked the raspberry muffin. Super moist and tasty.

I went back and forth between 4 and 5 stars for this rating. The staff are always top. The product is consistent. However, its always so darn busy, and there is typically the longest wait here. Maybe that actually makes them the best? I love all of our coffee shops in town and I spread my love to all of them! I finally saw some of their food products outside of baked goods, and was also impressed. Each coffee shop seems to have their own following, and I personally like them all in Hailey.

They dont cover the muffins and baked good. Quite often there are flies on them. :(

We like the Java chain, they offer a good cup of espresso/coffee and the breakfast options are fresh and good.

I have gone to and loved this coffee shop since late 1980s so the nastalgia and coffees are served up in grand style! Bowl of Soul is the way to go! Grab a Wake and Destroy tshirt on your way out!

Bomb drinks, fair deals, cool staff. Not superb for the quiet studious type, but for anyone who likes coffee it is prime. Bowl with whip- get it.

Cassie is the best barista Ive ever seen. She gives you exactly what you want even if you dont know what that is! She should be promoted and given a substantial raise! Bravo!!!

Super slow staff. Batista is working hard, while the cashier is chatting away with her friends at the end of counter. Its not professional, cashier should help the Batista. To wait 8 minutes for just a shot of Expresso its not acceptable at any coffee places. Also, staff should not put theyre fingers inside the cups. Not sanitary
