I have to say for the price I paid for 1 donut I could have had several that were better at other donut places I go to. My donut that I ordered was large and tasted like a lot of bread with a bland frosting on top.

A fan and local for way too many years. I grew up being able to enjoy this amazing place. There has been no place in the country that I have ever experienced that compares to Sunshine Donuts.Their donuts have always been quality with consistent flavors for the last 20 years. The egg rolls though, are incomparable to anything youve had before. Great prices, great quality, incomparable flavor.The owners and operators know their business and even recognize former regulars that havent been around for years.If you are ever in Half Moon Bay, you owe it to yourself to enjoy a visit with this place. It is a local staple. Grab a coffee, an apple fritter, and a half dozen egg rolls w/ sauce. You wont regret it.

Donuts were cold and did not taste fresh, in fact Ive had better donuts from the local grocery store. I did not even eat mine. I will go to safeway tomorrow. I should say i am a visitor on vacation.

We stopped for donuts on our drive south from San Francisco as we like trying donuts in every place possible during our road trip.We bought donut holes, a chocolate glazed and a glazed cake donut. The holes tasted slightly of old oil and left a bitter aftertaste. We didnt even eat them all. The chocolate glazed was really goid but the chocolate had a slight flavor of soy sauce. It wasnt unpleasant, just different. Our daughter ate the cake donut and said it was amazing.

Always fresh delicious donuts! Don’t forget the egg rolls!! Yum!
