Let me begin by saying that the level of customer service in the Hallandale store is amazing. As soon as I walked in we were greeted by Jimmy. He was able to answer all of our questions regarding a bed we were interested in. Offered amazing customer service. Once we were sure we purchased the bed. I recommend this Hallandale store to anyone.

Rude experience. The employees were very impatient… it was a very overwhelming experience. When I asked to do things one at a time the male employee huffed and walked off. He proceeded to address to a woman with a speech impediment about lost keys. He very rudely spoke to her like she was a child. She left and kindly told him to have a good day to which he replied rudely, “alright, I already said I’d look for it”… honestly deserves one star but one lady was very kind trying to help.
My husband Mel and I can’t thank you all enough. From the moment we walked into your store at Gulfstream Park on Saturday Dec.12th we were welcomed with open arms and knew right away this was going to be a great experience. We were approached by Iris who is remarkable, such an asset to the Pottery Barn Company. This woman went above and beyond for us for hours, and I mean 6 plus hours, helping us design our beautiful new home. Such attentive attention to all of our wants and needs. Shortly after we were greeted by the General Manager Frank! What can I say? Your personality lit up the room and your professionalism stood out more than I have ever seen in any Pottery Barn store. I might add that we’ve been to many as you know, after talking with my husband. We all clicked right away, your smile put us at ease, and your expertise made us feel confident in our decisions. From our dining room to kitchen, our living room to entryway we are beyond thankful for the time you both spent with us, you brought tears to my eyes when everything finally came together! Thanks again! We look forward to sharing many pictures and welcoming you both to our home when we move in and finalize everything in the up coming months! Mel and Maria!

This store is big and well stocked. The staff is friendly, informed and very helpful. This location is at the Gulfstream Park and stands alone on the far southeast corner of the park but connected to another building. OVER BY THE BIG HORSE☺ There are two entrances east and south..As to be expected there are items EVERYWHERE...just make sure you have enough time to enjoy all the store has to offer.
Im only giving this Pottery Barn 5 stars because of Josh, he has been amazing with helping me find what I needed, giving me awesome deals, helping me track my orders and just really on top of everything even though I know hes so busy. I did have to exchange some stools. Josh, unfortunately wasnt working on Wednesday, and I got stuck with the worst most rude employee named Robert. Apparently he had better things to do than help me exchange my stools and I can tell had no customer service experience. If you go to this Pottery Barn I suggest you look for Josh. Its sad that a furniture store would have staff such as Robert.
I love this place! We were able to finish our decorating project from this store. Great atmosphere and the manager was awesome!
Pls.Read.before.placing order.at Pottery BarnBack in the end of November 2018 we placed an order for a sofa we really light. never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would be so disgusted with the customer service at Pottery.Batn. We were told at time of placing order that the sectional could take 8-12 weeks, but realistically we would have it sooner.we are now at our 14th week . And no one can tell us the status of I sectional. Supposedly its been in transit for.the.past two weeks. I have called 4 times and asked to speak to a supervisor and no supervisor ever calls back. They cannot tell me if sectional will be here in one week, one month or next year . Thank goodness for social media, the word needs to get out on how horrible and non responsive Potter Barn. Is. They just lost a customer forever...
I called this Pottery Barn store to order a mirror that my local store in Dallas did not have in stock. I called them and they hung up on me, I called back and they put me on hold for 10 minutes. I called back a 3rd time, and I explained what happened the first 2 times, and I was greeted with a “What do you want?” I asked for the store manager, and John Renaud said he was the store manager, and was extremely condescending before I even explained the situation. He said he was busy helping other customers. I explained that I had been looking for a certain mirror, and he said he had it in stock. I explained that I needed more than one of these mirrors, and that other Pottery Barns honored the free shipping. He said he didn’t care and that wasn’t a good enough reason, and he wanted $55 to ship a mirror from his store to my home.So rather than pay that $55, I just called another Pottery Barn, and they shipped the same mirror free of charge. What’s the most disappointing is that while waiting for him to discuss it with his cashier, I heard him tell the cashier that he’ll try to get me to order it from another store so he didn’t have to do the paperwork. Appalling! PB is a great store at most locations, but this manager needs to learn how to treat customers, and, at a minimum, learn how to mute his phone so customers can hear his negative comments.
It was NOT a good experience!!! Michael was rude and abrupt because he interrupted Hazel and I, taking the credit of my purchase away from Hazel, who was helping me, and he demeaned her and me in the process. I felt he was overpowering and he took advantage of my salesperson. I also felt his demeanor was extremely rough. And then he had the nerve to ask me if this was a good experience, and he seemed to take pleasure in his condescending manner; he was arrogant!!! I am also not happy with the price because I had bought another of the same rug on July 9th, the store only had one 8 x 10, for only $ 419.00, a PROMO price. I needed 2, so I had to order the rug, but I have to wait until October 7th shipment date. What if Pottery Barn decides to cancel the order for some reason. So, I was basically forced into paying $ 569.00 to be sure of having the two that I need!!!
Amazing customer service and a very great PB. I have been into this store multiple times recently and each time the employees are very helpful and kind. 3 employees offered to help me find what I was looking for last Tuesday. Luckily they had it in the back! Thank you guys!
Bought a sofa on july 21st for delivery on Sep 9th. Today is October 7th and I was told the delivery SHOULD BE NOV 11th - 25th. Customer Service just say they are sorry, nothing else. I never got a phone call, never heard an explanation.ZERO star would be more appropriate. TERRIBLE Customer Service.

Profiles customers. Only ask certain customers if they need assistance. Never judge a book by its cover because the location is at a beach destination so everyone is not dressed to impress when on vacation.
I bought a bedding set. It was incomplete so they say they were going to get the duvet cover and brig it on next day so I bought everything else. Next day I go back, the duvet cover is not there so I wanted to return de pillows and shams, so they say that they can’t give me my cash back.The sales person who “helped” me was extremely rude, I don’t live in the us so I lost my money because I can’t spend a pottery barn gift card in Mexico.Also waiting time was awfully long.
I received a sheet set from my aunt as a gift and I didnt really care for it. I went into this pottery barn to exchange it for a different set which I had found. When I got to the register I explained to associate that I did not have a receipt bc it was a gift but I wanted wanted to exchange the sheets out. She asked if I had an email for my aunt which I told her I do not have and she quickly stated we cant do any exchanges or returns without a receipt, you would need her credit card or account number. I have never had a problem before with a pottery barn doing an exchange with or without a receipt plus the items I had were completely unused and in perfect shape. I could understand a return without a receipt but an exchange shouldnt be an issue!
Mathew, at the Aventura location, really went out of his way to find an item I wanted. When I called the store, he was professional, friendly, and took his time to find the item for me. Their store did not have it, but he found it in Ft. Lauderdale location. He called that store for me and had them hold it. Such a rare thing to find good customer service these days, especially in South Florida.
They have beautiful things but I dont feel like they have the drive to sell, this is sad because we went in to buy a lot of things for a big boat but didnt received any help nor attention

Bought backordered bedroom furniture in late May. I was told from the sales person that it would be delivered as the pieces became available. Well 5 of the 6 pieces became available and are sitting in a warehouse 25 miles away. They wont deliver until the last piece becomes available in late July. Sales person was dishonest or was not trained on the company policy. Was told there was nothing they can do to get it to me sooner. Will never order from them again nor would I ever recommend them.
