Unfortunately, I faced a terrible customer service, especially from the manager. So basically after the bad experience, I went to Crate and Barrel across the street and got an excellent support and bought a dresser. Then I found out that the exactly same crib from Westelm was available at Pottery Barn and bought it via phone with an amazing assistance.
BEWARE OF THIS STORE. DO NOT COMPLY WITH DELIVERY (YOU WILL PAY AND HAVE NOTHING) DISGUSTING COSTUMER SERVICE.On September 11 I purchased at your store 3 Items ( 1 coffee table and 2 side tables). The 3 items were on stock and ready to ship with delivery date “approximately” between September 18 to October 1. I paid for the delivery. By October 1 I contacted costumer service to find out if the items were shipped as it was the last day of the delivery window. Th first person I spoke to told me that only 2 items were available and that it would be delivered by the 8 and that the third item would be delivered sometime in the future. To which I responded that I paid for delivery between the dates I mentioned. She responded that it was an approximate date which mean “any time” when I ask to speak with a manager I waited on the phone and 47 minute after the manager said the same thing. I asked her if she would buy any item without a delivery date other than “sometime in the future”. Off course she refused to answer and dropped the call.I call again. This time a representative named Skyler (much nicer than the first one) apologized but gave me the same answer and refused to answer the same question “delivery at any time”.Now I had a manager again 39 minutes waiting. She did say she would not buy any item without a delivery date. She said that now (magically ) the 3 items were available but would not be delivered 2 of them by the 8 and the third one by the 18. I asked to follow with an e mail with the specific dates, and she said she could not do that. It flat out a LIE and a theft.I got my bill for the items I purchased but don not have and the delivery fee for something that have not be delivered according to specifications “ready to delivered between the 18 and the 1”. I HAVE NOTHING.DON’T PURCHASE ANYTHING UNLESS YOU HAVE A SPECIFIC DATE.
The place is beautiful. Thats why it gets two stars. Every single time I go there, I. Hope the experience is different but it isnt. The lack of Customer Service and acknowledgement is truly disgusting and Im in a high tier of customer service. I will no longer be going there. Online from now on.
I’ve been to this location several times and will only go there now for returns as the staff and management is severely lacking in the customer service department. I don’t expect to make best friends but a simple “hello”, “thank you” and “goodbye” seems pretty standard and expected. West Elm is essentially upscale IKEA, so there’s no need to give off a pretentious air to customers that allow you to receive paychecks. Lastly, I would expect more than a football jersey as professional work attire. Good luck to this location.

Horrible!Do NOT Shop here!I returned a chair (that was eligible for return) and never receive my money back!They took a chair back but DID NOT return my money as they promised.Their customer service is waste of time, I contacted them 3 times about the issue and all they said Waite 2 weeks, well I have been waiting more than that and still never received money back, lucky I shop with credit card and my credit card service were able to help with their business!!!!Seriously how do you even have business in the USA if you Dont return money back for the item that you took back from customer??!!Never shop here again.Im so regretted that i bought here so much stuff (sofa, dinning table, chairs, wall art and much more) and when I decided to return one item back that was absolutely eligible for return and THEY TOOK IT BACK I did not receive my money back!
This place it’s horrible at customer service and delivery on there orders! I have order a bed on Black Friday of last year and today it’s the day I have not received the bed because they say the back board of them bed frame have not come in to pompano I called lots of times every month and been sleeping on the floor because of there bad customer service. I ask them to return my money and they want me to get a gift card when I don’t ever want anything from this stores ! I ask them to give me a discount and don’t want too since they took months n where late on deliver ! they charge me even when the bed was not deliver yet when they lie to me and charge me a month after I order it and waited months! While there use our money for there Buisness to flip it over and over n don’t even email us with no updated had to call every two weeks !!
I went here to see a few things in person that I was looking at online.There was about 5-6 employees working the store that day and I was in the store for about 30-45 minutes waiting to be helped and NOT 1 employee acknowledged me, said hello or asked me for help I felt like I was invisible. There was a few employees generally busy, but some of them were not helping other customers. It’s ridiculous that no one could even make eye contact with me and give me a friendly hello.Finally after a busy gentlemen was done assisting another customer, I asked him for help and he was happy to help. But, the poor customer service blows my mind.
I wish I could leave a review for the awful product I purchased from West Elm directly on their website, but the local store will have to do SINCE THEYRE AFRAID OF ALL THE HORRIBLE REVIEWS THEY WILL GET. West Elm quality is little to non existent as far as I can see which is disappointing considering having a great experience in the past with a bed purchased 7 years ago. It seems that the company is now only focused on scraping all the money they can beneath themselves and gave up on customer service and quality. (READ OTHER ARTICLES ONLINE - SEARCH : WEST ELM QUALITY/WILLIAM SANOMA) You never know what youll get a quality piece or awful item which is extremely overpriced. Purchased the narrow leg bed which we originally received almost 4 months after initial order. Ordered in September received late December. Now after 3 months of use the center beam snaps on my husband and I at 3 am, we are now sleeping on the floor as of April 7 and Im 6 months pregnant. Contacted Cust Service April 8 which told us If you could please respond to this email with a desired resolution (ex: refund or replacement) we would greatly appreciate it. Once we have your response we will respond accordingly. 3 days after initial complaint. If given the option we will go with a refund! Sounds great. I can take my $350 and purchase a reliable product. They told us bring the item to the local store if accepted by management since we did not have original packaging to ship it back. Upon arrival Apr 13 they removed the item from the car only to tell me they can offer us store credit? Had to put it back in the car. The manager Alain Fequiere escalated this to I dont know who and promised we would receive a call back the same day. NEVER HAPPENED. I contacted the store multiple times and left a message and NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THE MANAGER EITHER. Finally had to call customer service April 18 where I was directed to the quality dept. had to resend photos of the damage AGAIN and wait 6 business days/ 8 full days to finally get a call at 8:30 a.m. to be told that they can send us a replacement or store credit AGAIN from someone whose job is to convince me to accept this. At this point I REFUSE. I want my money back and I dont plan on purchasing furniture from this store again. There is no Warranty for your PURCHASE and no one seems to care about the lack of quality or service. NO THANK YOU.

Started off great with Emilio after I waited for a hour without being attended to.he didnt have any thing to do with it, the actual Manager named OSCAR,, was the rudest person Ive dealt with in west Elm.. didnt even acknowledge me, and didnt even pay attention when I said I wanted to purchase a table along with vase, and plant,,488.00 total.. do you really think he deserves my hard earned money? The assistant manager should be the Manager,,shows more professional customer service skills. So sad that in these hard times, employees that are supposed to show leadership are not grateful for customers.! Thank you Emilio for taking over!
This is related to WestElm.com. I used to be a fan. During COVID I moved to Florida and found myself needing to buy a lot of furniture to decorate my new home. West Elm has bundled my $4K plus orders from start to finish. It’s been beyond frustrating. I think we all appreciate customer care. I know I understand what’s happening in the world. However, West Elm something is going haywire in your organization. Your orders are going to wrong addresses. Your work from home Customer Service staff is inconsistent at best. Frankly put, your competition is doing it better and this earning my money.

I don’t usually take the time to leave reviews but after multiple visits to this store I can honestly say I am now a proud West Elm customer!Me and my boyfriend purchased all of the furniture for our new condo from different West Elm locations near us but this one store in particular made our shopping experience top rated! The customer service here is outstanding! Very professional and friendly staff. All of our furniture arrived on time and in excellent condition. I wish I could remember the names of the guys who helped us, thank you again!

I really enjoy the space and layout of this location —Tons of natural light. Moreso than anything else, I love the customer experience here. I feel like the management creates a welcoming vibe. Each time I arrive, I am greeted and asked if I need assistance. Today was no exception. Ask for Jenna — she is the consummate professional. Jenna assisted my wife and I for an hour or so, going above and beyond — walking us through the various options on the floor and online while also calling stores nationally to put us in the optimal position in acquiring our furniture. A big thank you to Jenna and the entire team! Highly recommend shopping at this West Elm location.
Their product quality is horrible. We purchased a bench to match our table we bought a couple months earlier from them. The bench came out of the box with rotten and damaged wood. They told us they would replace it to hold on to the bench since we had already waited 2 months to get. Now 3 months has passed and no replacement bench. I called twice and was told any day now!! my 3rd call today and was told its not in stock and I asked for a refund since my card was charged 3 months ago. I got the run around and that they need their product back first. Doesnt matter they have had my money for 4 months. They can have their rotten wooden bench. To schedule a pick-up will take another week! I have always liked their service and product but as of today, I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM WESY ELM. You lost a loyal customer.

You will see that there is a pattern of terrible customer service as well as terrible quality.I purchased a light and within a week the light went on a significant sale. I called to see if they would honor a price adjustment given the recent sale and they refused. They said I would have to return the product and REPURCHASE it!?!?What a terrible inconvenience for the customer. They are more willing to make me go through all of that effort versus just honoring a price adjustment? How is this company in business?

I bought the, Grid-Tufted Upholstered Tapered Leg Bed, and I am extremely disappointed in the stability of the bed. When you lay on the bed, the total bed shakes and moves. Two people can not lay on the bed or you will feel that the bed is going to collapse. NOT a sturdy bed at all. It is for looks ONLY. Do not buy if you are looking for a sturdy bed.

While the store is nice enough the customer service of West Elm is simply terrible. I had called by now 5-6 times regarding a sofa that was to be delivered on April 1st at the latest. April 12th now and no answer. Never again!!!
