We loved our experience with Multistate Transmissions! We did a lot of research and got multiple quotes from different places. Multistate was the ONLY one that CARED and showed it. Our vehicle is old but they treated it with top notch quality care. We felt like royalty!They have great warranty and stand behind their work.They were quick, honest, friendly, patient and professional! It was a worry free and all around great experience! I cannot recommend it enough. Every business should take notes on how to operate their business from the people at Multistate.

I had a great experience with Multistate Transmission in Haltom City. I was prepared ahead of time to leave my car for the diagnosis and estimate, so when Buddy called with my options, there were no surprises. I went with the in-house rebuild, not a remanufacture from a far off factory. My Buick Enclave was ready when promised, at the price quoted. The vehicle is smooth, runs like new again. I have made several out of town trips already, very pleased with the results. I highly recommend them. We were referred to Multistate Transmission when our mechanic realized that the strange noise and shuddering was due to our transmission. Buddy, the owner, was great in communicating each step and the problems he found. He explained clearly wha the problems were and all the options for repair. He was up front with pricing and timeline. His office staff was helpful whenever I called. I was happy with the repairs and glad they were able to fix it.

Took my lifted truck here with plenty of engine modifications. Buddy was very knowledgeable about what and why my transmission failed. He upgraded what broke and fixed GM’s pesky “mistakes” in engineering. My truck is now back to burning the rubber off. Thanks Buddy!!

So took my truck in for a bad transmission, they fixed the transmission installing a new one (any shop will fix using a new transmission) paid top dollar for it, BUT they did a poor job cause now my truck does not read my transmission temperature and it did before i took it, they told me something was wrong with my dashboar, when it worked before. Very disappointed in the quality of their service for the amount of money i spent, WILL NOT do business again there!!!!

I am a mechanic, and I send all my friends to multistate! Ive referred 4 other people. One of my coworkers did not go with multistate and he regretted it. He eventually just sold the car because it was never right. Transmission work is complicated, you need the experts.

Great experience. I hate car problems but this place diagnosed, quoted and fixed the problem. Rebuilt transmission in 6 days. Chevy Suburban 2004. The quote & length of time were as promised. Offered 18 month warranty on all parts. Ill be back to post again in 18 months but all personnel I spoke to were professional and courteous. Definitely recommend to anyone. By the way, a local mechanic sent me here when I asked for someone trustworthy. Ask for Buddy.

They came thru again. A seal needed to be replaced on my car. It has over 170k on it. They were good 12 years ago when I had a pickup. It had about the same number of miles on it. A rebuild of the transmission was needed then.

When I got my car back it drive a lot better and smoother than when I bought it.

Buddy actually answered our call on a Saturday and let us know he would check it out on Monday when they reopened. He did not jump straight to you you need a new transmission. When he did determine that the gears in our transmission were shot he gave us options, an estimate, and an expected time that it would be done. He was able to finish the job three days early which was excellent. All of his staff were very courteous and he offered warranty on his product that actually can be used in the Houston area in case we have something happen since that’s where we are moving to.

Got my transmission repaired here. Ran into issues on repairs and it took quite a bit longer than expected. I definitely lost my cool towards the end, thankfully Buddy and his team were professionals and got everything resolved. Gave me a discount and an an extended warranty for my troubles.

What could have been a bad experience with needing a transmission was the easiest and greatest experience. Buddy kept us informed on everything, he also gave an excellent warranty. Hopefully wont need him for awhile, but will always reccomend his shop.

So, Ive come here in the past with my other vehicles. Always had good work and customer service. With my current truck, 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, manual transmission, Ive had some work done, more than I wanted, but needed to get done.To start off, I had to get all my rear axle, etc ...fixed. There was another place that messed it up, these young men here, pulled me in and showed me what was going on. They got that fixed and rebuilt my clutch.Now, let me tell you, just like anything else we buy, there is always the luck of the draw that you get bad parts. Well, it happened with me twice and these gentlemen took care of me.Until here in the past two months, I had to take it back in and the clutch needed to be rebuilt. Out of warranty, so you know what that means. These guys, took care of me...AGAIN!!! I did have to pay a little, but no where near the cost I thought I would have to pay! Im blessed to have such a great place to come to for help with repairs. If you want an honest place to do business with, you need to come here.My truck runs fantastic and they even washed my truck!Many blessings to the group here! I cant express my appreciation enough!

I spoke to Buddy several times on the phone before dropping off my Nissan Quest, and he was very helpful. What I thought was a transmission that needed to be replaced turned out to be a much cheaper fix, and Buddy took quick care of it. He’s very upfront and honest, and I highly recommend his shop.

Very quick and prompt. My pickup was stuck on the side of the road and they had a tow truck there within 5-10 min. When they got my pick up there they quickly looked to see what was going on and they let me know about 2 hours later what was wrong and a price(which is extremely fair). My pick up was ready the very next morning! It is rare to find a shop that can have you in and out so quickly. Im sure if there were more wrong it could have taken longer, but they did a great job and it has been roughly a week now and we have had zero problems. I will bring all my vehicles here and would recommend them to everyone. Thank yall!

Brought my car in for transmission repair, chose Multistate because of the reviews and the proximity of my home. For the most part, I was happy with my service. They had my car over 2 weeks, due to a part having to be ordered and it being on backorder. They didn’t keep me updated with what was going on, I had to call them for updates. Once they got the part in, when they went to install it, they ripped a seal off that they had just changed, so yet another setback. I found this out AFTER I had been told that my car was ready to be picked up! I waited 3 more days before calling to check status, and was then told my car was all ready to go....but again, I had to call them to find out. Not once was I called to let me know the car was ready to go! The car has been running fine, I hope that it continues to do so.

Multi State rebuilt my transmission 2 years ago and it has been running perfectly. They did what they were quick and efficient in completing the repair and on all subsequent visits they have advised me what my options are and allowed me to choose the option that best for my budget

This shop is very honest and upfront about your car - no sales tactics or upselling. The work was done in a reasonable amount of time with lots of communication and great customer service. Plus their shop dogs are adorable and helped with our stress. Definitely recommend these guys.

Had a costly repair that involved repairing the torque converter and drive shaft on my Jeep. Buddy was able to work with me by finding a lightly used torque converter to replace my old one and had another shop build me a new drive shaft at his company discount rate (which saved about $600). They were easy to get ahold of and work with. Hopefully I wont be seeing them again anytime soon but if I have transmission problems again, Ill be back!

When it comes to auto repair shops - I am a picky guy with trust issues. After reading the reviews I decided to take a chance and brought in my 1987 Dodge Caravan to get the transmission filter replaced.What I found amazing was that an employee named Marcos called me to let me know they might take a little longer due to them being busy and wanted to update me on the status, with all the shops Ive been to no one has done this. That right there is what I consider QUALITY in customer service - I dare you to mention a dealership that does something like that - I sure cant.Overall, the 30 year old Mini-Van shifts amazing - no leaks, no problems at all. 110% satisfied with this shop - I highly recommend it.

When My moms Chevy Malibus transmission died they fixed her car in 3 days. Buddy is really courteous and professional guy. his shop performed free diagnostic test (City garage charges $100) and told me step by step what the problem was and what needed to be fixed and why it was important to get it repair. He even told me how to get a $100 coupon from their website to save some money. Over all great service and I highly recommend this shop.

Buddy and his team are awesome! My first experience with Multistate was after another transmission shop supposedly repaired my daughters transmission, it broke again after 2 months. I was referred to Multistate and they did not disappoint. Her car ran beautifully! So when my mechanic told me my truck needed a new transmission, a $3000 repair; I needed a second opinion. I took it straight to Buddy. As it turns out, all I needed were new spark plugs and a couple coils. I needed a some other work done not transmission related and Buddy was happy to get that done as well. I absolutely recommend Multistate for any car repairs as they will definitely be my first call next time my cars need work!

Buddy and his team--Phil, Saul, Erik, and Augustine--are the best. I cannot commend their honesty and integrity enough. I brought in our Honda Odyssey and it turned out that after 18 months and 21,000 miles, the torque converter was shot. The car was beyond warranty, and Buddy was completely in his rights therefore to charge me for the whole job. But he said he had never seen this converter fail this quickly before, and that he wanted to stand behind his work. As a result, he is doing the entire repair for free. Again, he didnt have to do this, and was forgoing a $3000+ payment just to be nice to me, but he just felt it was the right thing to do, and the owner backed him up. In a week when someone tried to file a fraudulent insurance claim against us, Buddy restored my faith that people can be not just honest, but kind, generous, and charitable. Thank you, guys. I will be telling EVERYONE I know about this.

I cant thank the guys at Multistate for the work that was done on my Chrysler 300. They walked me through the process of what was going to take place with my car at every turn and they did just what they said. These guys do excellent work. I take my cars there for all my repairs because they are so honest. It isnt often that a repair store will recommend someone else for a repair who can do it cheaper, but these guys have done that for me when it wasnt something they specialize in. I just had the transmission in a Honda Civic done. Once again, on time and on budget. They are also the best of any company of any size about following up with the customer.

Well that sucks- were my first thoughts when I started having problems with my transmission. I called a couple of different auto mechanics and they all recommended Multistate so I went and talked to Buddy and it’s a busy shop and he said it could be a number things but couldn’t say for sure till they test drive and read the codes. After they got it in and looked it over it was going to be a complete rebuild, and that’s a bad day. But these are the guys you want to do this kinda work. They finished and I paid, a little less then what the other mechanics I talked to and they recommended me to Multistate said it would cost. Solid work and a no worries transmission.

Took my truck to Multistate Transmission based off the good reviews online. All I can say is that Buddy is a straight forward honest guy. One you want to visit when your car is in need. He took my car for 1/2 day, ran his tests and then kicked me out of his shop with a $0 bill. He explained the problem with my truck was more engine performance and that he would be doing a dis-service to do anything to the transmission. He referred me to another good shop up the street and they got me fixed up. So that being said I will always take my vehicles to Buddy if needed in the future because of his good service.

1/15/19- had the shop take a look at and diagnose my truck they were very effecent in doing so and provided clear options as to what fixes could be preformed . As for the repair all seemed to go well until I notice the issue happing again I returned with the vehicle and talked to them they brought in Their specialty tech and had it fixed in just over a day. There was a small issue with my truck but the were up front honest and fixed it on the spot. These are a great group of guys to work with and I’d return with my vehicle if need be.
