I told I could pay for the part via phone and would called when it was ready. That was on Thursday didnt get Thursday so called on Friday they it would be ready that day. I didnt hear from them on Friday. So drove out Saturday morning only find they was closed. Drove out again Monday morning and was told it will be 2 hour before it was ready. Waiting two hours only to be told that it will be 2 more hours. Now this its 12pm. Mine you I got to their location at 9am.The thing they could say is am sorry. But its going to 2 more hours. Or we can refund you your money. They didnt give a dam about my time or how far I had to drive. I would think that manager would have came out and something to me about their error. I was just with sorry it still not done. So now I think I will post on fb how I have been treated. I your corporate office read this these ratings. This is trulyunacceptable.
I cannot say enough good things about Ruben. We had a 2012 Civic Hybrid that had a failed IGBT for the IMA inverter. Ruben bent over backwards and spent a lot of time to find the correct part and make sure I was taken care of. I would guess he had few hours of his time taken up during the process including several calls from me to confirm we were getting the correct part. The part arrived when he said it would and worked flawlessly. I am proud to have him and his team on my side.
I use Fenix as much as possible when needing a good used part. Jimmy is my sales rep and does a fantastic job. He does a thorough search and goes the extra mile to ensure we get quality parts.
I hate giving bad reviews but this is the fourth time in the last four times I ordered a part here and they gave me the wrong part. They always say they have the part available online, call and order it, but it’s never the right part. They think it’s good business to waste time pulling wrong parts. I’m tired of waisting my time with this company. Be warned. Thanks Raul for waiting my time and not taking the time to get a picture of the rim to ensure the part is correct. I ordered a chrome wheel and you gave me a brushed aluminum wheel. Definitely not the same thing.
I purchased a reman transmission in May 2021 (we were told it would be shipped in two weeks) and received it was received at the auto shop for install on July 12th. 9 WEEKS!! 10 weeks no car! So, the core charge. core was finally picked up July 20th. It is now August 19th, another month of waiting and still no refund on the core!! What the hell people!? They do not care about the people they serve. Only that they get their money.

I deal with Travis Mclean he is very professional and courteous and just easy to work with. I would recommend Fenix parts highly they have a good inventory great delivery service and above all they put the customers needs first and will let you know if there is a better solution then the one they offer helping keep you pocket book in mind as well as your needs.
Bought a complete door at a premium price for a Cadillac escalade. Travis stated door was complete. When it arrived it was missing the door panel. $185 missing part. Poor customer service, ethics and complete dishonesty. If you have an issue at this establishment file a complaint to TDLR or the Texas attorneys generals office.
Not trust worthy, especially the guy called ruben
Prices are decent but the customer service is horrible. CS desks are right in the front but nobody looks at you. Front desk has been empty for 30 minutes, one rep wont stop singing songs by Areo Speedwagon and Ive been waiting for almost an hour for a 3rd brake light that I called and gave a 30 minute heads up that i was coming to get. Price is the only reason to come here.

There seems to be a lot of shady people in this business, but my experience with these guys was amazing. They shipped me my part, a bench seat for a Toyota sequoia 2015 (not the easiest thing to pack and ship) quickly at a very fair cost. The part arrived in great condition, better than I expected. Dan from their Haltom city locations gets 5 stars from me. The guy was honest, straightforward, friendly, sent me additional pictures to make sure the part was exactly what I wanted and needed, without even me asking, acted swiftly. Anyway, great experience!

We strongly advise against buying from here. They claim that they check all their parts, however, when we bought a used transmission from them it was FLOODED! Thats right! Gallons of water poured out onto the shop floor after the part was already installed. This was not disclosed prior to the sale. When I called to ask how they could help to reimburse me for the labor on the faulty transmission they sold me, they claimed that I should have bought a labor warranty. Bottom line, they do not check their parts, they will sell you a bad part on purpose.

Bought a used transmission, they said they checked it out and drained the fluids and that they do that to all their transmissions. I took it to my mechanic to have it replaced, he went to change the fluids on it, and it was full of water. I called Late Model and spoke with 2 different people, they both told me that they offered a labor warranty on it, and I should have bought it. Most salvage yards dont offer a labor warranty. I would be willing to bet that they sell bad parts on purpose, so that you either buy the warranty and get a little bit of help if your part is faulty, or you have to buy the part twice and install the part twice. My recommendation is that if they have the lowest price, it is the lowest for a reason. A bunch of snakes work here that would do anything to earn a buck. They have no integrity and do not care about their customers, period.

No one inventories EVERY part to a vehicle. Instead of going back and grabbing the part and charging a paying customer a fair price you decide to throw out a number 3x what is worth Brand new to go back and grab it knowing no one would pay that amount.... 🗑

Did an online order through Fenixs Main Website, Fenix online customer service is pretty bad lots of promises of solutions and call backs that leave you with no solution, and no product shipping even though they tell you its waiting for pickup. Yea waiting for pickup on the junked car. This yard on the other hand took ownership of the issue and ultimately found the solution. Hats off to Jimmy! If I lived in TX you would be my go to!

Tony treated me with an air of disrespect from the beginning.I was interested in buying additional interior parts however Tony told me if I wanted to see the parts I would have to pay for them and they would pull them and bring them up for me to see. As much as I understood the no customers in the yard rule I was confused by other customers not having to pay until after the parts were pulled and they inspected the parts. (This was a very poor customer service example)Apparently Tony failed to submit the order to pull my part. After everyone that came in after me had received their parts and left I had to practically force him to acknowledge my presence so I could ask him for a status of my part.So after close to two hours I get to see the part I bought and the condition was horrible. If it had been something I could have cleaned I would have taken it however it was not.Dillon was great and very helpful, I requested my card be credited as the part was not acceptable and ended my visit to the business.Ps:I was told by a couple of the parts pullers at this location that customers are taken back to inspect parts often before they are removed or paid for (a common sense business decision that would have saved a lot of my time and your resources)

Very bad communicative servise. I waited 3 hours to pick up a dashboard for them to tell me that they had not even started to pull apart the dash, Also their parts do not come complete how they say that do. They make you pay up front for them to hold you down and wait for the part and end up wasting your time because of lies they started in the first place.

Exactly everything he told me was right, other salvage yard lied to me about the parts that I was looking for, but tony was honest from the start and got the part I needed! Purchased a black fender over the phone at 9am. Was told by a “chris” it would be ready by 12. Drove 30 minutes to the shop, called and did not get ahold of someone that knew what they were doing until 1pm. Was told the part was not pulled yet to wait a minute. Waited another 45 minutes until the part was pulled, only to recieve the wrong color.

The other places I called wanted offset, and lug pattern, and other obscure information that I had no idea what it was. Jimmy looked up whatever he needed to, and found me what I needed in one day. When I called over the phone the first time they held me on the phone for over 13 minutes, after my around 4th call I finally got someone who could talk instead of constantly switching departments.After coming in I had to wait an hour total for them to pick the part I called in for.And to top it all off when i took the part back to get a refund because my buddy had the exact thing I was looking for he was just going to give me, they failed to tell me about a restock fee that went from $25 to 25% of total purchase feeAll in all, I wont reccomend
I have been dealing with Late Model and Jimmy M. for many years! I have a choice of about 30 salvage yards for my collision parts and I choose them! I get first rate service and the correct parts the first time. Whether I need a body panel or a suspension part with ABS (like me) they are my first call!

Posted: Oct 31, 2018Bought an engine for my Tahoe for $2,408. I paid for a 180 days extend warranty. I only drive my Tahoe on family trip out of town. 4 months into the warranty we take a family trip and 3hrs into the trip the engine started to knock. So get the truck towed home. Take it to a shop to see with the problem is. The shop said it a bad pistol in the engine. I call to let them know that I would be being the engine back. They tell me no leave the engine in the car and they will send an inspector out to see if it can be repaired. So I take my car home and let them know they can send an inspector out and that is when the funny business started. I call and they couldn’t give me a day when the inspector would be coming them I ask you talk to a manage and was told the manage would call me back. So I got no call back the next day the manager still too busy to take to me. So I called the next day the manage still too busy he in a meeting. Then I get a phone call back but it not the manager it an employee calling me back for the manger to relay a message the inspector can’t come to your home you have to take the car back to the shop so the inspector can come out. If I wanted a repaired engine I would have repair mine, I want an engine that has not been opened up. This is bad business. What do I pay extra for a warranty for SMH. If I can’t get a motor that hasn’t’ been open up, then just give me my money back and I can take my business somewhere else. I WILL KEEP YALL UPDATED ON HOW THIS TURN OUT....Update Post: Nov 12, 2018 Still NOT Resolution. NO call from management or the owner. I have been very patient at this point. Now I feel like I am getting the run around. If I cant get a different motor I would like my money back so I can take my business somewhere else.

Paid online last night and called 45 .ins ahead to make sure my part was ready and the guy said yes and to come on. I got there and they couldnt find the invoice or payment . At 4:45pm..snow they say I have to come back a d get next week!!! They are totally unorganized as one employee doesnt know what the other employee is doing..REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I called to verify that they have a part before I came because Im an hour away they reassured me they have it. Only to get there and they did not have the part!!! Tammy at the front desk is absolutely horrible she said sorry cant do nothing about it. I just told her I spent toll tag money, gas and my time and she said I cant do anything for you other than give you other salvage yards numbers. I asked her if she would call the other salvage yards for me because she does business with them and they had me come out here for nothing and she said no do you want the numbers or not!!! Absolutely horrible customer service I would never recommend them!!!! I own my own concrete company and I would go above and beyond for a customer if I inconvenience them!!!! The only reason why I gave them a one star is because thats the lowest you can give!!!! Tammy also said to me that she would let me stand in her lobby to call on my cell phone the other salvage yard companies!!! I told her she was funny!!!! Absolutely horrible customer service!!!
