Good luck with this place. Better options in the dallas area if you want your car finished within a year. Schedule with them and never get done unless you live nearby and go up there every day. Dont waste your time.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. I got a set price for a tune which I paid in full, drove 3 hours away and was there all day just to leave with a horrible tune. The car was not running right at all and was told it was because parts on the car was not working properly, note it was all brand new. When told to reschedule another day to finish he advised me it was gonna cost an extra $300. Tricky performance sent me a remote tune that lined the car out perfect the next week. (with all the same parts that wasn’t working properly)

Ethan helped me with a stock Shelby 2021 gt500 tune. He worked hard and helped me through it and the car fells powerful now and he did a great job! Really happy with this service.

Special thanks to Ethan from Trackstar for getting my car dialed in. It was mid 90s humid Texas temperature with intake temp super high yet Ethan was able to consistently tune my car in run after run spot on with zero issue. Mid range tq feels great. The car runs amazing even in the heat. Super confident that I can take it out on a hot Texas day and not worry about being stranded or destroying a motor. Best part was he got the AC running smoothly now and for the first time I got to drive home with an AC that won’t stall the engine. Ethan really knew what he was doing. I’ve been to a lot of tuners in my lifetime and Ethan was down to earth and made sure it was done right. Who ever use to own my car had a prior tune on it so bad and dangerous that it damaged the old motor. Ethan was able to find all the problems and cleaned it up. Literally runs and runs the car was spot on in his hands. He took all safety precautions to make sure it was right and let you know any concerns you have. He works with you not against you. Great guy and I am so happy to have a tuner like him in the area.

I visited Ethan in January of 2018 for an ECU remap on my stock Chevy SS. Ive had no issues and am looking forward to talking my car back for future upgrades and work.Great communication: beforehand, when I explained what I wanted, and during, when he explained his process and what he was doing as he tuned it.Professional: He was ready to go when I arrived and he gave me his full attention as we set up the car. Most importantly, he is very careful around customers cars!Obviously, my experience was the complete opposite of the 1-star reviews, but Ive also spoken to a few people who use this shop exclusively and they are all satisfied customers as well.

My experience was very positive, brought my Civic in for a dyno tune after I installed a Kraftwerks kit. Ethan looked over my engine bay and made good changes to ensure reliability. She runs great and puts down satisfying numbers.

Ethan is the owner and he def knows his stuff better than anyone. If you have a performance Mustang, of any year, Jason is the man! He can work miracles. They are the best I have found anywhere. They really care about their customers and do amazing work. I wont take my Mustang anywhere else other than to TrackStar. I trust them completely.

Got a hold of Ethan on Facebook he responded quickly, gave me some good information via messaging then went to get tuned in person he gave some more input on a couple of small issues I had and put a nice bass tune in the truck, very very inexpensive for this first visit truck seems to be running really nice and clean better than the previous tune from a different shop. So far great job Ethan....

I had been tuning on my vehicle for almost 2 months trying to figure out some weird behavior it was having. This was my first vehicle to tune and I had expended all of my knowledge. Ethan methodically went through my tune and got vehicle running spot on. My AFR was corrected and all my annoying idle and stalling issues were fixed. Well worth the money. I’ll definitely be back when I’m ready for my dyno tune!

I brought my car to Trackstar Motorworks to get a dyno tune. I bought all necessary certification to get my car tuned. He cleared my check engine light which totaled out to be $300. I paid Ethan and was told to come back for the dyno tune (which would cost me $200 more) and fill my tank with premium next time. I texted him a few times with no response, i got a response saying he was busy and that he was sorry to just pick a Wednesday that i was off. That was fine with me. I understand being a tuner can be stressful and can get busy. So i picked April 22nd, i didnt get a response after i sent the date. I havent heard from Ethan since February, Ive texted asking if it was still alright for me to come April 22nd didnt hear anything back. Still havent heard anything about a reschedule from him and its April 27th today. He seemed like a nice guy, but he never got back to me about finishing the job.

Ethan knows his stuff, if you need any forced induction, power adder, or any performance mod this is your place. Ethan is super knowledgeable and he gets work done. An entire turbo kit was installed on my car in about 2 total days of work. They have a in-house dyno so Ethan is able to tune on the dyno and he also tunes on the street for drivability. I wont ever go to any other place for my performance mods.

The worst, went here to get an engine job done on my car, nothing but issues few weeks later. Was a hard process communicating with owner Ethan in the beginning... should have known the signs. Now he wont answer or reply to my messages, bad business stay far away!!

Tuned multiple of my modified daily drivers and racecars. I have experience with more than a few shops in the DFW area and Ethan was by far the most transparent and easy to work with. The tuning is on a level I’d expect to see from a high level motorsports program, very thorough and a ton of research is done to make sure the calibration is A1.

Ethan had my 2011 Mustang in and out within 2 hours after installing a set of headers which takes most shops a day or two. Great job and even better customer service
