My husband was in the ER. The doctor sent in a prescription to this CVS. They said they never received it. When I asked the pharmacist what I should do, he said call the hospital. I explained that I had. I asked if I could do anything else, he hung up on me. I dont even want to give one star. We have had nothing but trouble with this CVS.
This is the worst pharmacy in Hamden. the wait is always sooooooo long it’s actually ridiculous. At this point the workers don’t even do the bare minimum. Specifically, the pharmacy department is trash and should be ashamed to do the halfway “work”
I have to some pharmacist are helpful and friendly but this has no personality and no help@ all really don’t enjoy this Location very much .cvs should hire people that care about people not pay check
If only there was a way to give this store a minus thousand score.... the PHARMACIST refused to get my coupon i formation over the phone!!! How is that possible, A PHARMACIST REFUSING TO HELP A PATIENT, I have no idea... poor poor customer service. Just awful.
ANSWER YOUR PHONE!! This is the WORST pharmacy I have ever had to suffer as a client at. The people that work here CLEARLY take NO pride in their work. Fire them all and start fresh.
I regularly spend 30 minutes to an hour or more on hold with the pharmacy department there, its basically impossible to get a hold of them. On top of that the CVS website is broken and wont let me do anything with my prescriptions even if Im logged in, so I have to call them to do anything. Just awful.
Worst CVS. They make our lives harder in every way they possibly can. Never answer the phone; never have rx’s ready. They have caused innumerable headaches and frustration. If my insurance didn’t require me to use CVS I would absolutely never go there.
I wish I could give this 0 stars because that’s how my experience went. I went to pick up my prescription and they told me 15 minutes until it would be ready. So I waited then checked back right at 15 minutes they said it still wasn’t ready. I waited an HOUR for my prescription to finally be ready!!! I am never using this CVS Pharmacy EVER AGAIN!!! I’m completely dissatisfied about my experience and will be transferring all my prescriptions else where
Always Long wait to pick up at pharmacy . Very slow and negligent staff.
Sometimes theres issues with refilling prescriptions. Check by phone of your unsure of what your seeing on your account on their website
Customer service is the worst and they never answer the phone.
I wish I could leave zero stars ! This is the worst cvs customer service I have ever received. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude and hung up the phone on me several times even after I called back. I will never give my money to this location ever again.
I checked in at 11:15am on a Monday morning for my flushot and waited for 30 minutes. One of the male cashier was very nice and tried to help check in the status of my order but was stopped by other pharmacists who were very treating me like a machine and in a typical rule-book working style. So, I just cancelled the order.... This is the worst service that I ever get from CVS.
Worst pharmacy in town. Refills take days when out of stock on common meds. Takes forever to get through on the phone. High prices. Long slow lines. Apex Pharmacy is looking much better by the day.
I ordered photo cards here and luckily checked them before I got in my car. The printer was clearly out of ink or broken in some way because there were streaks throughout all the cards and the color was extremely faded. I couldnt believe they sold them to me this way. I went directly back in and the woman said that the printer was broken (so again confused why they were sold to me in the first place). She told me I could wait for the repair guy to come fix it but didnt know when that would be. Im giving two stars only because she was very kind and refunded my money without question.
Always a problem, always an issue. Never a smooth visit. On the plus side, staff is much more polite now. New pharmacist is very helpful and personable [young man, dont know his name].
Great pharmacy and personal. Take their time making sure the patient comes first. The female pharmacists are AMAZING!!!!!
This is the worst pharmacy, they never answer the phone, or their messages and they never have Rxs ready for them... hopefully they pharmacist gets the drugs right!
Great pharmacists and caring staff! Their always busy so come at an appropriate time so you can wait for medication but the people are absolutely doing their best!
I have had no issues with this pharmacy, all goes reasonably well.
I like this store a lot but just had a phone conversation with someone at the pharmacy who is not helpful at all. not to mention rude.
I will never again have my prescriptions filled at CVS 2045 Dixwell Avenue every month since December of 2018 State either lost my prescription or they can’t fill my prescription on time.I have a Butrans transdermal patch for pain and every 28 days is blindness due to be refilled I go to my pain management doctor fate electronically sets it since it straight to CVS at 2045 Dixwell Avenue telling them that they should be released early because I was going on vacation one day I didn’t get it till I got back from vacation I complained to customer service and nothing was ever done about it people in the pharmacy are very rude and very crude people every month Physicians almost a year they’ve screwed me some Monday of this week 1014 Iris Place to change the patch. CVS 2045 Dixwell Avenue Hamden ordered the prescription on Friday with fingers crossed that it where they would get it on Monday they didn’t get it Monday they ordered it still got it Tuesday and it was the wrong item so they had to reorder and then they want me to call to remind them how to place the order because my situation is I only can use from one Manufacturing and it’s not there for first one so it’s an extra step they have to do just for me. They really don’t care about their customers they don’t care about their customers.
The worst CVS pharmacy in the entire world. They are constantly making mistakes on my prescriptions and have wasted hours of my time on multiple occasions. Every time I go there they make a mistake. Stay far away from this specific CVS pharmacy.
I am not sure whose responsibility this is-- the actual stores or the corporate company, but their operations are wildly unacceptable. Their phone lines have been down for 2 days. I had to go to the store to get my prescription refilled and had to wait for an hour. When I asked what back up phone line or email address I could use to call prescriptions in, they looked confused. I am lucky I have easy access to transportation to drive back and forth. What about people who dont who have critical medicines?
Nice and clean just always a wait in the pharmacy
Not bad, certainly meets low expectations. Friendly staff, always busy.
If I didn’t have to use this store for meds I would not. They can’t keep track of my meds, there are staff that are rude. There is usually only one person at the pharmacy and very slow.I wish Caremark would let me use someone else. I would much rather go to Walgreens any day.Poor customer service all around.
The absolute slowest pharmacy in existence. It’s really absurd how long the lines are inside and in the drive thru. Get it together!
It is really too bad that I have to write this review, as other CVS pharmacies have been great. More than once this pharmacy has failed to fill prescriptions sent to them by my doctors, trying to say they were not received. On another occasion this pharmacy denied filling a script for me 20 minutes before they close, even though it was an emergency. Also, it takes them 15 minutes to answer the phone, if they answer at all. I will be finding a new pharmacy after using CVS pharmacies for 15 years.
This is the worst pharmacy ever. Not only do they make mistakes constantly, they are rude, there is always an issue - doesnt matter if youve been getting the same prescription for years.FYI to those with a CVS caremark prescription card. Shop and Shop pharmacy accepts it, you do not have to deal with this catastrophe. You have options.
The absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. There is ALWAYS a problem. They are always out of medication. Lines are extremely long. Staff is beyond rude.
Omg I don’t know where to start, I when to pick up my son medicine one day, they said they don’t have it in file, i when to buy allergy medicine for my husband they only had Allegra D, Zyrtec D, Claritin D one of 12 caps they didn’t have generic either, i when with a prescription Tuesday morning and they call me Wednesday afternoon to let me know the insurance don’t cover, i tried to contact my doctor with no luck I tell them I am gonna pay for it bc I need it for my and I have an MRI “FRIDAY” they said I cannot pay for it, I called again trying to talk to a different person and ask the price of the pills bc I need it really bad and told me the price but they Said THEY DONT HAVE THE PILLS !!! Friday at 6:30pm I went to Walgreens and in less that 1/2 hour got my pills and guess what? The insurance PAID FOR IT.
Horrible pharmacy. They look overwhelmed. They need to hire more pharmacist.
I had to transfer my prescription to CVS because of changes with My health plan this has been the worst transition ever I contacted CVS at 8am this morning I provided the tech with all my information because I had no more mess and I needed my prescriptions filled the tech insured me that my prescriptions would be filled by the time I got out of work which was 6 PM When I went to the pharmacy no one could find my information and I currently dont have any medication to control my blood pressure I am furious. The system is very unorganized and it needs to be reviewed here this is a very poor transition and I will be contacting my insurance company .
Worst customer service dont not care about anything
Horrible customer service. Ordered photos and the machine was down, never once was i called to inform me that it was not ready. My Daughter had drop a thing of milk on the floor by accident and the people who worked there gave us an attitude. Some splatter got on the photo machine the lady photo person started swearing in from of my kids. She should be fired and not work in customer service at all. I will not be going back to this location at all.
I aint know what but i agree whats fire her
The pharmacy is awful. Nothing is ever ready on time, ever
Minute clinic "doctor" spent 10 minutes texting on her phone with the door wide open. Completely unpersonable therefore making the whole experience uncomfortable and borderline alienating. Only until I said something did her concern show. She probably didnt want a bad review. So here it is. Ill give this place the benefit of the doubt. Last year my experience was pretty good which is why I came back. And honestly there was only one rude pharmacy tech. Plus, I know how hard it is to work with people. But in this particular environment compassion for the well being of others is priority. Not for a paycheck. I dont think Ill be back to this location anytime soon. Its good reason to stay healthy. :-)
Pharmacy staff was very rude when speaking to customers. They were very unhelpful. I know why the web has them with 2.2 stars. I would have given them 0 stars but it would not allow that option. Very disappointing!!!
There was great miscommunication between this pharmacy and my doctors office. My office confirmed they were communicating with the pharmacy but the pharmacy staff seemed confused and disorganized. They also treated me rudely as if I was both uneducated and like my prescription was not important to receive asap. This CVS failed to confirm my prescription with me, and lied to my doctor about calling me back with information. I waited over three weeks for my prescription, though I called frequently, even called my insurance to confirm there was no delay there. My script was approved one week before I came in to pick it up but I was not informed - then at the pharmacy I was informed they were out of my prescription and didnt order it the week before, when it was approved to fill. I am very disappointed with this pharmacy and will change my pharmacy. I do not recommend this pharmacy to anyone.
Terrible and just all around rotten pharmacy
I love all the things tgere like the nail polish and make up!!!
This pharmacy has given me some of the worst customer service I have ever received. The fact that I actually went out of my way to write this review says a lot, because I couldnt even remember my Google password. A few months ago, I picked up a prescription and the window mechanism (drop box whatever you will) malfunctioned, dropping the money I had CLEARLY placed in the box, on the ground. It was a windy day and the money blew away. The girl looked directly at me, saw what had happened the entire time, and told me I would need to come up with a different form of payment. I didnt have any other money with me. I told her multiple times the drop box is broken, and when she said nothing could be done (she actually didnt say much, because she saw exactly what happened and knew the drop box was broken and that it was the pharmacys fault), proceeded to get out of my car and look for the money. At this point I was just plain embarrassed, so I went inside. After waiting in line for about 30 mins, the pharmacy manager was extremely rude to me and told me the money was never in their possession so there was nothing I could do. Eventually I went to the store manager and asked him personally for a refund and he gave it to me, after rolling his eyes and clearly annoyed with me. Anyways, I am currently on hold with this pharmacy and have now been on hold for over 30 minutes. A woman picked up the phone after about 15 mins and said cvs pharmacy please hold very quickly and hung up. I stayed on the phone, and after around 25 mins of being on hold, another woman picked up and said hello, oh excuse me I picked up the wrong line Im sorry and I began to say something back, but she too hung up in my face. It has now been 35 minutes that Ive been on hold. I used to work in customer service and understand what it is like to be busy, but I would never hang up in a customers face, or leave a customer on hold for 35 minutes. These people clearly do not care that other people depend on them for their medications, and their well-being. This pharmacy is awful and I will be switching very soon.
Every time I come to get my prescription its a long line for drive thru. Its a drive thru if someones prescription are ready to be picked up it should be taking care of quickly because its DRIVE THRU, however that isnt the case.
Had a 40 minute wait because they forgot to call my name when the prescription was ready. Terrible customer service.
Clean and organize store. Jhon was quick and efficient.
Great customer service! I was very impressed!
Theres a lot that can go wrong at a pharmacy with all the communications between doctors but this staff is always helpful and professional!
Ive had a decent experience.
Worst ever experience with minute clinic. Had to wait for 2 hours to get flu vaccination. Change the name to days or decade clinic
Called said was ready. Waste of the uber ride. Rude lady
Ok ok store!!!
The people who work in the pharmacy at this place are retarded! Please go else where to have a script filled!!
Worst pharmacy experience Ive ever had
