I expect to, and dont mind, getting beat up a little bit on popular items; but Mt Carmel Wine and Spirits will full on ROB you. It is a good thing they are still wearing masks, it is like being mugged. $320 for a normally $150 bottle of Michters 10yr Rye. $120 for a $60 bottle of Blantons. Eagle Rare over $100 a bottle. 1/2 of their wines are grossly overpriced as well. Beware when shopping here. Look around, you will find much better prices in stores less than 5 miles away.

My new favorite wine store in the area! Great selection of interesting and rare wines for very fair prices and the only local carrier of Peache Impereale which I bought for the first time there recently. I would highly recommend trying it out and getting some cheese next door to pair for a special occasion.

Just spoke to Bob which I assume is the owner or manager of your fine establishment. I purchased 2 bottles back on May 30 for $125 a bottle. When I re-ordered I was informed that the price did go up as result of lack of supply. The new price was $175 a bottle. When I finally did find a copy of the sales receipt from my wifes May 30th purchase and I was surprised to see that you had increased the price by 36% and I would have expected you tell me how much you had increased the price before I bought as 36% increase in two weeks is significant. (I made you aware when I purchased the wine that my wife bought two bottles a few weeks back but I was not sure how much she paid and asked you to look it up which you said you could not do - I now understand why). Anyway, so I called your store and asked why you increased the price by so much and your explanation was that to replace the wine you would now have to pay $250 for the same bottle....I said ok and the did a quick web search and it turns out that I can buy up to 31 bottles at 129 a piece today (see time stamp upper left corner in the enclosed screen shot) from a another distributor.So bottom line, this will be my last purchase from your store and I will for sure to tell my fellow wine lovers about my experience at your establishment. I wish you all the best going forward as I am sure you will do extraordinary well given you business practices. Cheat and deceive your customers and they will line up to buy more.PS: I will have a wine tasting between the bottles I purchased from you yesterday and the ones I purchased today to see if they taste 36% better. I will let you know how it goes. You never know.

A beautiful, well-stocked wine selection from affordable bottles to super-rare vintages of top producers. The staff were friendly and helpful, but also knew when to just let us browse in peace. They have tastings every Saturday; I wish I lived closer!

What a great wine store. Looks like nice inside and out, making you think the prices would be high. This is not so, and they even offer wine from some Connecticut vineyards and wineries. Very helpful, but not overbearing, staff and a hand-picked beer selection make this a store Ill definitely be returning to.

This store racially profiled me for being a young hispanic woman going into their establishment. I was kind, courteous, and was treated with disrespect and like a criminal. After showing both two forms of identification as well as my credit card with my name printed on it, an employee (bald with a thick mustache) did not want to believe that it was in fact me. Later I called the store to speak to the owner, who would not let me get a word in and would not apologize to me. Meanwhile a young white woman about my age was checked our right next to me with ZERO issue. I would not suggest buying fom here whatsoever. Specifically, if you are young person of color, do NOT go to this establishment. These are gross human beings.

The staff here is beyond rude, ridiculous and demeaning. Inspected my sister’s license for several MINUTES and then she showed him her passport and he STILL had an attitude. They were not helpful while we were there, and were even rude when we were checking out with 2 bottles of wine. Yet somehow they gave the young white woman next to us no trouble at all with her ID.... definitely not a place I would recommend. Afterwards we called and he was extremely rude over the phone and the owner refused to give us an apology. Very bad business.
