Best kept S Jersey secret. Very good food aimed at fresh and healthy. Has wine and beer. Most of all the service is above average and super friendly. 👌
My friend recommended that we go here for dinner. She said they dont do orders over the phone but we went in and ordered. I got a mango chicken wrap which was okay. But the pie I had was absolutely delicious and the chicken pastina soup was very good as well.The diner has a very modern and open look, reminds me of the places in NYC!
Staff service was awesome. Very polite and Mannerly. Make you feel at home. Worth a trip in from Philadelphia on way to any of the shore points. Just one heads up for the owners: how does a single elbow macaroni get mixed in to the omelet I ordered? LOL. I know a little about prep work and sometimes it just happens. Happy I wasnt charged extra for the added ingredients.
Very bad experience First Time & VERY LAST!!! WE SAT FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES! GOT COMPLETELY SKIPPED OVER AFTER GIVING THE HOSTESS OUR NAMES!! PARTY OF TWO ONLY. NEVER GIVEN AN OPTION OF SITTING AT A BAR WHICH SOME CAME IN AND DID! VERY FRUSTRATING TRAVELED APPROXIMATELY 30MIN TO GET THERE. DO YOU HAVE AN ISSUE WITH COLOR?? NO STARS SHOULD BE GIVEN. DID NOT WANT TO CAUSE A SEEN IN THE RESTAURANT, THATS NOT WHO I AM. LEFT FEELING HORRIBLE-TRULY LOST MY APPETITE FOR THE DAY!!
Been here for the first time in three years to today. Great breakfast at a reasonable price, good service, and nice open-air atmosphere. Unfortunately, we were told a 10-15 minute wait that turned into about a 40 minute wait because we were waiting for indoor seating which is limited. It is best not to come in the middle of the day on a weekend during the summer when it is busy due to people going to and coming from the shore. I will give them props for being transparent and apologetic about being short-staffed. Other than that, I would be back.
I like the place is modern and the food is great. I ordered egg white omelet and it was tasty. The hot chocolate is not made with milk so dont get it. My service is always great but yesterday our waitress was not attentive and seem in a bad mood. It was busy but its not excuse. Other than that everything was great.
On the way to Atlantic City, on rte 40 is the new Dawn. Here you dont get traditional bread, you get homemade banana bread. The atmosphere is a mix of a star bucks and a Disney themed eatery. The Jersey devil burger was good, but the plate itself should be a little larger. The place is clean and tidy. Patio outside to watch the traffic going to the shore . Whats really unusual is that they serve alcohol, also serve ice cream, gourmet coffee and regular dinner. So if you want to get a drink, eat dinner, get ice cream,and your coffee fix at the same place you can go here and get your fill. A little pricey with the entrees but chow is pretty decent. The fries are fried which I particularly wasnt happy with. only complaint. Service was good.
Stopped there with a group of 15 people. It was a bus trip.For being impromptu, they were very gracious. Service was excellent, food was very good, prices were also very good. A good place to stop by
I made a pit-stop here but BOY was this place hopping. Full parking lot, busy wait staff and people waiting for seating. Its on the Black Horse Pike just outside the shore area. Whomever decided to build here was a genius.
One of the only diners in the area that actually makes real food. Dont understand how some of those diners that have a 12 page menu of frozen food are scored higher than this establishment. Had the chicken and waffle breakfast, was excellent.
The service was great. Everyone greeted us with smiles and friendly service. This is no typical diner. The menu has unique items and the food is prepared well. Food was great!

I always looked forward to stopping on the way and home from the shore. Recently the food has been terrible. I ordered my favorite the coconut shrimp and it was fried raw chicken. I was sick for two days and will never eat fried shrimp again. I think that they sold this place because the old owner was amazing.
This is my sons favorite place. I like it too. Very short on help. My waitress had a white cotton mask. Very dirty. Just take it off, lol . Food was ok, my son said oil in fryer was old, needed changing, again short of help.
Ive eaten here many times. Food is fresh and good. Unfortunately the service was very slow. We sat for quite a while before our order arrived. Very short staffed.
The workers were really friendly, the food is made to fill you up so its worth the money. The only problem that I had was the toast was soggy, it seemed like they just let it sit in the butter.
In an area saturated with good diners the Harley Dawn stands out. The dining area is clean, and modern. The staff is outstanding, pleasant, and actually want to be there. If in the search for fresh homemade style food the search is over. All the classic diner fare can be found here along with some exclusive favorites. The homemade soups, dinners, and signature made in house ice cream cant be touched.
The food was exceptional. I had my three great grandchildren and they even commented how great the food was. Waitress and all of the staff were awesome. I will be going back real soon.
Harley Dawn Diner was very clean, the server was pleasant and the food was great. When Im back that way Ill be sure to stop.

Very caring and compassionate team. Definitely the best work environment I have been in so far, theres always someone around to give pointers and you learn something new every single day in the kitchen or out on the floor. The food is phenomenal and the chefs are some of the kindest, most passionate people I have encountered. The way service works usually gets things done at tip-top speeds I havent encountered elsewhere. I was only a dishwasher here but I speak from the perspective of someone who saw both sides of the coin, this is definitely one of the more authentic businesses Ive ever seen with a great staff, great procedure, and even a building that has been designed and engineered to be green and good for the environment by the owner herself! The people I met working here are inspirations to me and maybe someday Ill come back to work there once more. (Edit: I feel its also important to mention food is home-made/locally-sourced.)
Menu is awesome. Found it difficult to choose! POUTINE! Many unique items and attention to detail on all items we received. If I lived near enough I’d be a regular for sure. Will be the restaurant of choice when I’m in the area. Diner isn’t the word I’d use to describe the business. The design and layout is well done. Reminds me of restaurants I’ve visited in Canada and Europe.
Food was ok. Was seated immediately. Food was below par, the wait staff never returned to our table as they were busy seating others.. they were very short staffed it took almost 40 minutes for the waitress to bring us our check..mind you, we were never asked about the quality of the food or for refills. Will not return.
Their meatloaf is one the best. Good flavor and I like how they package the take out. Sliced just right. Friendly service.

I love this spot! The staff is the absolute nicest and I mean everyone of them!! And the food is excellent for a good price. They locally source as much as they can and it definitely comes through in the food. The diner itself is beautiful. Plus they have some many homemade cakes, pies and ice cream I mean come on!

First time visit - will definitely be back! Not a traditional diner in appearance, a combination of industrial and earthy. I know that sounds weird but it works nicely! Had breakfast; one order, a traditional diner order 2 eggs, sausage (4-very nice!), home fries, juice & tea, the other an Ocean City Benny, eggs benedict with crab, old bay seasoning on English muffin. It was amazing! Look at the pictures - dont you just want to take a bite of your phone? Seriously, I cant wait to go back!

Excellent! I had the delicious Ocean City Benny (eggs Benedict with crab cake sliders & a sprinkle of Old Bay) - which Ive been craving ever since - and a tasty Jersey Devil Bloody Mary. My husband had a fresh basil & tomato omelette, which was also excellent. For dessert, we got their homemade peanut butter & jelly ice cream which was beyond awesome! If I could get away with eating here everyday, I would! In addition to fantastic, fresh food, the staff was welcoming & friendly, and the service rocked! This place is a real jem!
Such a good place to eat. We went for breakfast and it was delicious. Definitely reccomend getting an omelette. The service is speedy but they dont rush you. Will be back soon for sure!!

This has turned into on of our favorite restaurants! The hostess Dottie is a gem, very friendly and always making sure that the front end runs smoothly. Our go-to-server is Lorenzo who gives all of his customers excellent service as does the rest of the crew. Great food at reasonable prices, most of it home made! Pam and I absolutely recommend going here for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You will not be disappointed.
We have been enjoying the did and staff for years in the original diner and always satisfied and more. Great respect for the investment of time, money,love,and labor to bring us an elevated experience as well as sustainable minded new restaurant with diner(counter) service. In short the staff has always tried hard to give us all they had to give and are successful. Give them a try for a meal of just ice cream

The food is always delicious. Lots of it is locally sourced and the portions are great for the price. I always have leftovers. The salads are absolutely HUGE and honestly the best flavor combinations I have ever had. The poutine is great too! I’ve had a ton of different dishes from here and have never been disappointed. Also try the sangria! They have it year round. It’s six dollars for a very large glass of it and it tastes amazing.UPDATE: They’re offering take out as well as grocery store items (check their website for the updated list!). So happy to get huge portions of great food at great prices again and also happy that I can get some basic essentials like meat, eggs, milk, and cleaning supplies without having to venture out to a crowded store. Just call ahead and they’ll bring the order out to your car right in front of the diner. It never takes long for the order to be ready and the past few times they’ve added on some yummy extras like free speciality breads. Also you can get the sangria in a huge mason jar to go! Highly recommend supporting Harley Dawn during this time, you won’t be disappointed!!Curbside pick up is available Wed through Sat 11-7 and Sun 9-6. Go go go!

Amazing experience there! I am of hispanic descent and I took my family here for a meal. My parents speak english but they get very shy when using it. The waitress we had completely understood this and was very patient with them! They loved it here! Glad I found this place. They are all beautiful people! Dont forget to give tips they definitely deserve it!

Overall it was ok. Food was generally good. The server i had was ok. Did feel she could of checked in a bit more and she never gave us utensils( even tho my nephews meal came with coleslaw). Had to ask another tables server for utensils. Which he did, but also got use more napkins and refilled our drinks without us having to ask. Does feel after remodel they are trying to be a little high end. Would try them again and give them a second chance. Overall 6 out of 10, this time around.
Food was not that good..Cowboy Cheesesteak had no BBQ sauce on it..the Vegetable Burger had Bacon on it and the spice was not good..service was slow but signs posted to be patient..was there once before for breakfast before Covid and the breakfast was really good..this time the only good thing was the Chicken Pasta Soup..
Ive been here before and it was definitely a nice environment to eat. Service was good. But today, the service was extremely terrible!! Food was horrible. Im really big on good service. They need to hire better servers and cooks!!

Harley Dawn is the best diner in Atlantic County! We lived in the area for about a year and tried a bevy of diners, and we always came back to this one! The food is fresh and flavorful, and the service is fantastic. There is something for everyone on the menu at Harley Dawn. If youre heading down 322 on your way to the shore, make it a point to stop in at Harley Dawn, or do takeout! Youll agree its the best diner in the area.

Tonight was our first visit and we will definitely be back. Staff is incredibly friendly and nice. The pasta is homemade on the promises and very tasty. The seafood at a diner is normally a no go but here fresh and cooked just right. The coconut shrimp starter delicious and salads were a nice portion. They also had a refreshing blueberry ice tea. I would Highly recommend this place. Thank you for the quality service.

Went for a family dinner with my wife and 2 kids. Found a favorite- the house salad and house dressing was very good, as well as the burgers! The salad meals were larger than expected and very tasty.

Unique and ECO friendly restaurant.Conveniently located on the black horse pike heading towards atlantic city . If you are coming to AC From PA, take the black horse pike through williamstown verses staying on the turnpike and you will pass it on your left .They are ecologically aware and their food is fresh and mostly local.Their wines are local as well- you can see on the menu where in NJ they are from. I went for the first time personally on a holiday (mothers day) so they were very busy and there was some wait despite having made a reservation but that was understandable. The uniforms of the staff and the atmosphere really give it a tropical/ vacation vibe.-Outdoor dining available-Clean bathrooms-friendly staff/ environment-Modern style-Suggestions for improvement- wear name badges and have a clear plan for who is assigned to which table - there was much confusion which caused some of our delay. This is likely due to the holiday but there was a staff member who seemed a bit overwhelmed, thankfully JUILIA CAME IN TO SAVE THE DAY. SHE SHOULD BE A SHIFT MANAGER IF SHE IS NOT ALREADY!- Will go back and will definitely continue to support this local eco-friendly diner.
2/6/2021. Waiter was prompt and polite, thats about the only reason for the star. Food was terrible. Discovered a hair in the pasta dish, Their country fried chicken steak was frozen chicken fingers covered in white gravy. Would not recommend.

The new place looks great. It reminds me of an urban modern restaurant in design. The food is simple and good. The strawberry cake was phenomenal--light, sweet but not too sweet, delicious buttercream frosting. Tucson Salad was delicious and amazingly filling for a salad. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
