I went to Hickory Stick yesterday. Of all the quilt shops we went to along highway 36 it was my favorite. Beautiful shop! Sew much to choose from. Staff was helpful and very friendly. It’s only 2 hours from my home. I will definitely be going back.

I was looking for material to match a bedspread and they were so helpful. I have beautiful French sewn pillowcases that go beautifully with my new bedspread. Awesome place!

I have shopped in quilt stores all over the US, and this is by far the best shop Ive been to! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and creative. And, best of all, they were attentive to my husband, making him feel welcome (which helped increase my purchase - way to go, girls!)

I enjoyed shopping at the Hickory Stick very much. The sale room was my favorite. I was even able to switch out a pattern on the 3 yard quilt kits. I really liked visiting with the ladies.

I was driving through Hannibal with my husband and another couple. I am the only one who wanted to see the quilt shop. While the others looked around the town, I spent almost 2 hours in The Hickory Stick and I still didnt get to see everything. The store is set up so nice with displays, samples galore and patterns and patterns and patterns for anything related to needle work. I live over 1000 miles from Hannibal, but I am planning another trip already! This quilt shop and all the people who work there are worth a visit. You wont be disappointed!

We had stopped at a Quilt store in Hays, KS and was told to be sure and stop in Hannibal at the Hickory Stick store. Wow! Really nice, friendly staff and so much to see and what a selection of fabrics.

What a great shop! The staff went way beyond the call of duty for me, helping choose fabrics long distance by phone for a project I am making. Excellent selection of wool. A competitor referred me to them when they didnt have what I needed.

This is one of the nicest and best quilt shops I have visited. Beautiful fabrics and different, not your run of the mill shops and merchandise. I only wish I had more time and money.

What a great store!!! Three or was it four rooms full of fabric and so much more!One room has fabric and gifty items, one has fabric and trims, another room full of fabric and the back room (the largest room) has a tons of wool felt projects, wool felt by the yard, finished wool felt samples and HUNDREDS of iron on transfers for embroidery on dish towels etc! Its a gold mine for a crafter! Just looking at all the finished quilts on display will inspire you to take on a new project or two or three!The ladies who work there are SO helpful (and experts with great advice). Just in casual conversation it came up that my friend and I are Realtors and on our way to Springfield IL to see Abe Lincolns home, she said you cant leave this town without going to see Rockcliffe Mansion!! She sent us on our way with directions and WOW what a great tip!The hardest thing will be narrowing down your selections as they have terrific choices!!This store makes me want to visit again one day despite my 7 hour drive!!!

I drove 2 hrs from Florissant to talk to the ladies in the shop to coach me thru a sewing problem. I got my answer & a confidence boost. Bought more fabric than 2 hr drive back home. Worth it to me.
