I love you, Shipley’s but sometimes the quality just isn’t there. The photo is from an Apple fritter for my mother that barely had any apple filling. She deconstructed the whole thing to find just a little bit of apple filling. Please don’t make me have to face my mother and her disappointments! Quality over quantity. I understand having to put out product and having to hustle but I would rather get a good product and know I was too slow to get it than to take something home that doesn’t live up to its name. Please don’t make this the Amazon of donuts.

Stopped by this morning and ordered 2 sausage cheese and jalapeno Kolaches, and a cream cheese doughnut. The server was too busy talking to her co-workers about if she was needed tomorrow to pay any sort of attention to what I was saying. She gave me two ham and cheese Kolaches, and the doughnut tasted like it was filled with buttercream frosting. Of course this was discovered after I had driven away, and could not go back. 2 stars only because it was edible.

Convenient location, people are friendly, but the food is hit or miss as far as freshness. Sometimes the donuts/kolaches are SUPER soft like they just came out the oven, and sometimes they feel like theyve been overbaked just a touch and/or theyre from the previous day.

Usually I dont have an issue with this place, especially when the owners are present. The place is the best and never had any problems. This morning, however, the owners were not present and on my way to my kids school we stopped by the drive-thru. There were 2 cars in front of me. I waited for 10 minutes before deciding to go inside since the line never moved. Went inside and there were two employees (in training) up front, one for walk-ins, one for the window, and two in the back. One was the cook, and I am not sure what the other was doing but she spoke loudly about somebody calling her from outside (I assumed she meant the drive-thru), asking about the hold-up (or at least this is what is sounded like. Make a long story short, I was at Shipleys for 15 minutes this morning and had to leave without any merchandise because customers were not served in a timely manner at 7am (which I would think is one of the busiest times). Please have the owners back so the store will run more smoothly. The four stars are for when the store is staffed properly to handle the business. Thank you!

Service is fast and friendly. Weither you walk in or drive thru they are always welcoming and inviting.They have such a large selection food from donuts to smoothies. Its just an all around good environment.

Cant see the menu until you reach the window. Otherwise, kolaches were good and warm.

I was stuck in line for so long. I had to leave because i eill be late for work.

My order was still doughy I do not recommend eating here

A good donut, not far from the best which in my mind is another local donut place. I didnt see any sign of serving HOT donuts but they were fresh. The glazed were tasty, light and a good amount of sugar coating. I had a chocolate filled donut which was filled with a cream filling which was a bit sweet but worked. Donuts range from .75-.85 cents each which is cheap compared to crispy creams.I liked Shipley donuts more than crispy cream and would go again if Im ever in the mood for donuts. They are a larger donut and lighter than crispy cream. I would like to try them hot though, cause a good crispy cream is delicious!

Horrible service; plan to WAIT FOREVER if you use this old fashioned drive thru. We waited 14 mins and the Manager is RUDE, when I asked to speak to her! WE WONT BE BACK! Would be zero stars if that were an option!

The sausage cheese with jalapeños kolaches are what I love. They also have great coffee.

Our running club comes here once a month after timed event days for a reward. The staff is always well prepared, and super friendly. The donuts and kolaches are always top notch.

This location royally messed up an order of donuts for a nonprofit volunteer day. We ordered 2 dozen mixed and were asked if there was anything we did not want. We stated no, please give us some of everything. They gave us only sprinkle and iced donuts and shoved them in the smallest boxes they could. We also got some items on the side and stated specifically how to pack them, which was not done so they did not make it to the right people and volunteers were left without food. After contacting the location they seemed more than willing to help rectify the problem. They would not give cash back, but offered replacements. It would not help for the volunteer day, but to tell them my name next time I came in and we could get half a dozen free donuts, per the owner. I just tried to get the 6 replacement donuts promised and was told it could not be done at this time.

WTH happened to this place? I used to stop in once a week. The last 2 visits I ordered my normal filled donuts. There was about a spoon full of filling in each, if that. The first time I thought it was a lazy baker. Now I think it may have new owners and they are cheap. 7 years I have done this and that ends now. Want to be cheap? Not with my money! If your looking for great donuts drive on a little ways past this place.

If you go late the food isn’t that fresh. But they are clutch for staying open later. Kolaches taste different then the ones I have in Houston but overall they are straight.

Totally worth it to Set Your Alarm to get the freshest Glazed Donuts and to be sure you dont miss out on the Best Old Fashioned Glazed Cinnamon Rolls with Nuts. My husband favors the Bavarian Creams! We chow down with coffee, then...go back to Sleep!

Love the place I got a job there for a day tho I was thank full for it! Even tho it was for a day Ill still buy there donuts! P.s there kitchen was clean and organized!🙂.

I come here every now and then. Everything is pretty tasty here. The only thing is no matter who is taking the order they always manage to get it wrong even when they repeat your order a million times.

Good place for breakfast! Stays open later than other donut shops too! I just dont like the steep hill to get out of the lot, it flipped a truck the other day!

This is one of the better places to get donuts in the area. They have a good selection of assorted donuts and they are made fresh every morning. Very delicious.

If you are all about presentation, dont buy here. A dozen of donut stuffed in a tiny box... that doesnt look right. it looks disgusting. the donuts did not even fit on the box. How can I take that box to a meeting???? I wouldnt eat them myself If I see them presented like that.Shipley, I think you can do better! For the price I paid, that look cheap and bad.

Nice and responsive staff, crazy when it comes to donuts. Who stacks glazed donuts on top of each other? Just a huge mess in a box. Kalaches are just a loaf of bread with a small side of sausage and cheese.

The quality of the donuts was totally lacking. Super cheap shortening, left film and bad taste in the mouth. Also over priced.

Outstanding food however coffee was a little weak for my taste. Overall I would return. One of the best doughnut places in this area.

The apple fritters were overcooked and had little to no apple in it, the bear claws were undercooked, mushy and way too sweet. Or sodas all taste like carbonated water.What the heck.

Good options and fair prices. Be careful going in on Saturday mornings as one of the employees seemed liked she hadnt undone the night before and was having a terrible time taking our very simple order.

These donuts made me and my family sick. They tasted really off, like old burnt oil and gave us indigestion all day. Most likely won’t come back.
