We called ahead to confirm they were doing inspections after a major auto chains certified inspector was not in, and another shop said they were no longer performing inspectors. The staff were friendly and helpful, replaced a dud bulb for minimal cost, and had us in and out in 20 minutes. The facilities are clean and organized, and we felt comfortable waiting in their outdoor waiting area with a roof and benches. I would feel confident taking my cars to this shop in the future for oil changes, inspections, and so on.

I took my class A 40 foot Motorhome over there where they changed the oil in both my generator and my Cat 7 motor. I would have also done my transmission but they didnt have the right equipment. Seemed like they cared about my Motorhome and me.

I go there to get my truck state inspection.I get my oil changed there.They give good service They have a waiting room with newspaper, free coffee and television. The room is cool all the time.They are friendly and treat you right.

Young guy wouldnt pass my state inspection because he said my tint was to dark. Just gone the year before with same tint and it passed.

Fantastic! I stopped by when the business opened. They were able to accommodate my request for an oil change right then. The waiting room was clean, large enough for several customers, and tastefully decorated. The technician came and discussed a low level of power steering fluid and gave me options to address the problem. I ask for a referral to a shop that would address an electrical issue and he provided his recommendation. ( The other business was just as helpful). I am a woman with some knowledge of car repairs and how things are to be addressed. Kips exceeded my expectations. I was referred to Kips by another winter Texan and I thank Kips for a job well done. Our family has been going to Kips well over two decades. Kip is highly regarded as a very honest businessman and offers excellent service for a reasonable price. The staff is very knowledgeable, dedicated, and kind to their customers.Theyre pretty fast.The have two waiting areas. You have your choice to sit out on their covered deck, or inside watching t.v. anther is always a fresh cup of coffee or water to have, while waiting.I just cant say enough about Kips.

I came here when I got my new car. Moved to Weslaco and I drive to Harlingen just for my oil change. They service my vehicle in a timely manner and their customer service is amazing.

I went to pass state inspection and to my surprise the employee stated at as per his boss/owner they did not have to wear a mask or gloves and if we did not like it we could leave, of which we did. My first thought was with Cov-19 on the rise here in the valley. They would wear them being that they get into anyones vehicle. We are all trying to be safe in these times you would think these owners of this establishment would do the same. For that reason I and we my family will never use Kips again.

They did a car inspection for me. There were other people in line ahead of me, but they were reasonably fast, & once they got to my car, they inspected it very quickly, & everything went smoothly.

I always get my vehicle inspection done here, they are extremely courteous, honest and the service is fast. If there is something that needs to be done in order to pass inspection (in my case wiper blades) they install quality products at a great price.
