2nd time in two years that my wife picked up a nail in a tire, I took the tire off at home and brought it in without a scheduled appointment on a Saturday morning. I know they are busy and its no guarantee to be seen right away, but both times they were able to take care of the flat in short order and I didnt have to wait more than 15 minutes. Came in for an emergency tire repair. My wife caught a flat so we limped the car there to hopefully get it repaired and was told they were too busy and didnt even attempt to make an effort. One star is being generous. Ill NEVER go there again !

Went in for oil change and mechanic noticed a bolt to the tire was not tight and it was stripped barely holding in place.Mechanic showed me the problem and expressed to me that it needed to be fixed.They order part and fixed it ..

They were very nice to deal with. Easy check in and out. Someone pulled up and vomited in their parking lot then drove away. I told an employee and asked him to dump water on it so no one would step in it and he gladly did. They were quick and efficient.

I had an appointment at Firestone up the street to get a leaking tire fixed. The appointment was made online on their website. I got there on time and they had no record of it. I showed them the confirmation on my phone, and they said its out of their hands, and that they cant help me. So I went up the street to Tires Plus (their sister company), and explained what had happened, and they got me in right away, and fixed everything up in about 45 minutes. Ill never go back to Firestone.

I went to get some work done on my car, got charged like I was a rich man with money to throw away. Got the car back with more issues and they told me they would have to charge me over 1000 dollars to get to things fixed. I looked up the parts and found the quoted price way over what it should be in my opinion. Truthfully I am not upset, just disgusted that they would treat a guest of their establishment like that and expect for a person to be satisfied and return. I beg you all, if you have car troubles. PLEASE DO NOT, I REPEAT PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THE SHOP ON 29TH STREET

I had an accident with my Jeep. I needed a new axle and other various parts and a bearing or two. Although the insurance company that I go through was not being very cooperative, tires plus managed to maintain a level of professionalism that I certainly appreciate. The insurance company insisted that they go through the dealership to get the new parts, even though they would have been able to get the parts from another parts store days maybe even weeks earlier because the dealership didnt have them in stock and then the dealership sent them to the wrong place... It was one mighty chase around the mulberry bush! But, after weeks of waiting they managed to get all the parts needed. They put the Jeep back together and it runs just fine. Not only that, they went above and beyond! They gave me a new interstate battery for free. Thats got to be worth $18 0 maybe even $200. And, corporate office helped out when the insurance wouldnt pay for the rental car anymore. They put an extra $200 towards my rental car. If you people arent going to tires plus and are having bad experiences other places, its your own fault. Go to tires plus on 29th Street and see what kind of service you get. then youll see why Ive been going there for about 15 years

Just got my tires replaced here and it was super speedy and cheap! Only paid a little over $40 to put on my two back tires (they were dry-rotted from sitting for five years). Whole ordeal took maybe a half hour and my beauty was out! Definitely recommend and the staff is very friendly. Will definitely come here again.

Staff was Excellent from Terry writing my service ticket on the phone. Had my daughter too drop of the car in the morning No problem and we she didnt car me to ask any questions. Because Terry took care of me the day when I called. I had a Excellent experience with these guys. Made my daughter happy to want too come back to get the oil change when it get ready. I will trust them to handle my daughter car from now on.

Extremely unprofessional. Arrived early for my appointment, was booked in and told they were running a little behind. TWO HOURS later they decide to tell me that they sold the tires that I had ordered earlier that day, and didnt have any others.Really should have told me upfront before wasting my time. Would not recommend.

Shoutout to the employee who changed my tire today! Didn’t catch his name (though apparently some call him “The Tire Genie”), but it was a younger guy with long hair: showed a ton of knowledge of what tires they had, genuinely seemed excited to get the work done, and took care of it quickly and efficiently! Seriously, awesome job!

I had been looking for new tires and was recommended this location by a a body shop I went to. I called ahead of time to get some quotes and told them the shop who referred me. The gentleman I spoke with told me I would get a 10% referral discount, and also spoke about a $100 rebate promotion deal they were running that particular weekend. I decided to make an appointment to purchase and install new tires. After arriving for the appointment, I mentioned the referral discount and was just ignored. I then proceeded to ask about the special promotion credit card deal for the $100 rebate and was told that it wasnt even a thing going on. I thought, okay, that is not what I was told on the phone earlier in the week. Regardless, I proceeded in getting four new tires put on and also had an alignment done. Upon leaving the shop, I instantly noticed my alignment was off and pulling hard to the left. I called the shop right away and was told I had to wait until the following day to have them look at it since it was closing time. A little frustrated, I took my car back the next day, only to wait 2 hours to have them fix the alignment issue, which still doesnt feel 100%. I was offered nothing in return for the inconvenience they caused. I will not be returning here and recommend you look elsewhere before you choose this shop.

I have NEVER had a bad experience at this location, ever!The management team have always done a top-notch, bang-up job!And as far as Im concerned, Stewart should receive some kind of a reward for his efforts and his customer service skills. were it not for Stewart, after the extremely bad experience I had at the camphill location, I would have never gone back to Tires Plus. But because of Stewarts patients and level-headed thinking, we talked about what went wrong and I am still a very loyal customer to tires plus. I have to thank him for that, and as I certainly didnt want to have to go and find a different place to take my vehicle.

As for alignment. Took a little under an hour. Checked all my fluids n brakes. Rotors. Etc for free. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Definitely will be getting alignments done here and Im sure more than that.

Very nice people, I have bought several tires from them, mostly because of their service. The tires are a bit pricey... I have always bought the Destination 2 and they have been great in snow and rain but lately have wornned on the shoulders rather quickly.

Do not take your vehicle here. Their prices are double what a small town garage would offer. The mechanics do not do honest work. My inspection failed for a couple different reason and I completely understand my inspection would have failed regardless of dishonest work. they quoted me 1700 to fix everything. I declined and got a second opinion. I only had half the things wrong with my vehicle. My shocks per them needed replaced. shocks only need replaced if they are leaking. Mine had minor rust not leaking. I would of preferred an honest truth like your shocks will need to be replaced within a year because they are starting to rust they are not leaking therefore they dont fail but we do recommend for safety. It would of cost me 500$ to replace. They said a part of my exhaust system had a leak which it did not. There are a lot of people out there who have to take the word of other people because they do not know how to fix something or they lack the knowledge to truly understand what is going on. To do dishonest work and then charge people double is downright evil.

Quick and very reliable service I went there just to get my tire some nitrogen. But they did tell me it doesnt hurt to mix air and nitrogen so it was no big problem. I was in and out in a matter of minutes plus the air was FREE.

I had no service done. However I was along way from home traveling with my family and my rear caliber locked up my brake. I went to four different locations before ending up with Douglas Simpson in the Harrisburg store. He knew right off I needed help, although his tech had left for the day cause it was late afternoon he told not to worry and made a phone call to another business where I was taken care of and safely back on the road. Thank you so much for such a caring attitude I live in Maine but I will schedule my next tire change when I visit my son with Douglas.

2/22/20 Took my Toyota 4runner SR5 in for a standard oil change to try out a new local business.Came home to oil leaking out of my vehicle. A hazardous amount of oil. For the truck and the environment. Called owner immediately and he instructed me to buy oil. Refill it and drive back to garage . Gave them vehicle along with a photo of the amount of oil in driveway.His mechanic started dropping skid plates off the vehicle that were full of old oil. And wiping haphazardly with a rag. I went out to garage with the owner and shown him the leaking oil filter o-ring and drain plug. Either was right!Vehicle has instructions printed on engine cover to remove for oil change. And since they didnt the entire front drivetrain and rack and pinion is still covered in oil that is continuing to drip .They offered Zero assistance in cleaning the vehicle back up.Because as the mechanic stated after an oil change, oil runoff is normal ....you know its only 5-6 its.They should clean my vehicles undercarriage- I have grandkids and pets and now my driveway looks like a garage floor.New company to our area with complete disregard to our environment or our vehicles .

Started off shakey when they told me that my tire was fine, but it turned out that they checked the wrong tire...so they had me come back the next morning. Upon returning Stuart set me up with a new tire with a pretty good discount for my inconvenience, all in all they got me taken care of and I am satisfied.

I have been going to this store for 10 years to get all of my car maintenance, and over the last year the work and service has gotten poor. My last visit was for a brake inspection, I noticed my brakes were squealing and the emergency brake light was on while driving. They said that there was nothing wrong with the brakes, and to make sure that the E Brake was not engaged. 2 weeks later there was grinding and smell of burnt brakes. I took my car to another mechanic, and needed so new rotars and calibers, and new pads. The work ended up being more expensive, since the brake system was stressed for 2 weeks. After this experience Im not coming back, and I was a loyal customer

I took my car to Tires Plus because I had a coupon for the inspection & emission. After 2.5 hours, they said they had found a few things wrong with my car. Brake system, struts, shocks, and sway bar. They started rambling about car stuff and I asked what is the total. $1389.00. I said no, thanks- I cant afford that. Please put it back together and I will figure something out. I leave there and I have NO BRAKES. But I am already on my way to another mechanic and my car is manual transmission so I drive cautiously and use a lower gear to brake. The other mechanic replaces the brake shoes and says that the place I just came from failed to put my brake adjustment back after they were done looking at them. Some kind of adjustment is needed to properly inspect the brakes and it must be put back or they dont work properly. WOW. Thanks a lot, Tires Plus. How stupid do you think I am? Did you think I would come running back because I didnt have any brakes or are you just a sloppy mechanic not doing your job? Anyway, the other mechanic charged $160 to replace my brake shoes and carefully inspected everything from the Tires Plus report suggesting I needed $1389 worth of repairs. I will never go back to Tires Plus, not this location, not any location. I dont care if my car breaks down in their parking lot. I will have it towed to a mechanic that isnt looking at a young girl and seeing dollar signs. I hope this review saves someone the hassle I went through.

I took my car here state inspection was advised engine mount and shocks pass inspection my bill been over 900.00 just to pass a state inspection. Went got a second opinion and passed with flying colors no work needing done.I feel jaded.I been tires plus customer off and on for over 10 years.I just question if mechanic was new or they just having bad day.The girl at counter answeing phones wanted do call back and couldnt answer my questions.I feel service was poor and question integreaty of company I once trusted doing service for my vehical.

Tires Plus on 29th st in Harrisburg has become ridiculously awful in service. They perform sub standard work and cannot handle simple instructions. I have had about 4 issues with this store now and every time i would snap out to the manager and they would give me a free oil change or refund for work they didnt do correctly. I asked that new tires be put on the front, they were put on the back. I asked for a systems flush, they didnt do it. I got into my car and oil was all over my brand new camel colored leather seats. The latest and final straw with this company is that my car died on me...i got it jumped and over to tp harrisburg. They told me its not the battery - its fine, they cant replicated the issue. I jump it and get it over to Honda dealer. They call within 1 hr and say your battery is weak and alternator is the problem. DONE DONE!!! DONT GO HERE!!!!! THEY SUCK!!!

My wife went to just get a flat tire fixed. She was told that the other 3 tires should be replaced.This was funny in that one of those tires was only a month old.Also, she was told her battery was going bad. Premium battery installed 6 months ago.
