Had most of brake accessories for my vehicle. Employee called another AAP closest and they had my rear pads. Another was delivering my front rotors within a couple hours. A lot of money spent, but the employee got a discount put on for me. He was very nice and knew his job well.

Employees outside playing around with friends doing mechanic work in parking lot while customers inside store needing assistance asked the employee for a part he goes to find it never comes back come to find him outside having fun with friends in the parking lot while I was waiting inside store for himi asked a second employees who walks in store we’re is your coworker he tells me oh we don’t have the part your looking for Ike ok Wao I waited all this time while your coworker outside with his boys laughing fulling around ok thanks great customer service ghetto unprofessional never again will I come here

There is a total lack of urgency to service the customer at this business. I was made to wait 15 minutes while the employee conducted business on the phone and then bailing on me and not getting one of the other 3 or 4 employees to assist that was not waiting on anyone. I only went to this store because of a phone order that located inventory there so itll be the last time. The CDC and the Gov. of CT recommends wearing mask indoors and so do Advance Auto, but they dont practice what they preach. I am such a constant customer of this place I am constantly getting perk rewards as most things you need as far as Auto parts depending on location sometime the staff is not fully trained or where whats going on in the store some people struggle to use the cash register I think they were ushered in only because they were family other than that overall its a corporation its a pretty good place and most of the employees are very knowledgeable and can help you out immediately.I did recently encounter some problems with the new folks who dont know how to deal with online customers in store I had trouble returning some items that I purchased online but I picked up at the store its a girl in there thats familiar with me she calls me the online guy cuz I usually come to the store with my order already made out of this pick it up and I leave and Im like one of the only ones that consistently does that you know even if I walk in the store and I see something I like Ill order it online and use my perk rewards and wait till it registers with the store and then grab it and leave its a good way to be sure that if you lose your credit card or your receipts rather you are covered with the online records but I have seen an employee of two managed to mess up thats benefit of being a perks reward member its a shame but its a real currency its going to happen in any business and people are going to make new mistakes thats just the fact that business the prices are pretty fair the selection is far and wide and there are some good experts that work at this place the older the better when it comes to customer service I still recommend it I give it four stars overall its one of my best places to buy my auto parts I think youll find great deals and a good selection that will suit your needs so dont be afraid to go and try it out the one I usually go to is on Wethersfield avenue is close to you know family and friends and where I usually hang out at so I tend to go there more than other locations further down the road on Albany avenue or the Burlington turnpike but they are decent places they pretty much the same wherever you go the staff makes the difference most definitely!

I had excellent customer service. A young woman who was the manager on duty, installed my battery for me. She was very helpful, polite, and professional. It took her less than 10 minutes to install my battery. I believe her name was Sharon... great job...thank you very much!!

Friendly staff and excellent service. Miguel the store manager, was extremely helpful to find the oil i needed for my car. He walked me outside and without any hesitation offered to put the oil into my car. I personally work in the customer service field so i was pleased with his assistance and customer service.

Friendly knowledgeable staff, very helpful. They had all parts I needed instock to get my brakes done quickly without having to wait for UPS to deliver them. I also had a return and was taken cared of with the same professionalism as when I bought it. Highly recommend these guys and will shop again when my car decides to break down again.

I was here yesterday and one of the employees give me the prices of a part that I need a little to expensive that the store across the street, let him know that the other store is a Less expensive and he didn’t want to mash the prices. And also not a good attitude.

Im so upset with their online store. I ordered a part and it said it was available at the wethersfield location. I paid and went to pick it up only to be told that they do not have it in stock. The worker said that always happens. Well, that is unacceptable and I will not shop there again. Its not her fault that the company is incompetent and wont fix this issue if it is a constant problem.

- I went there today & the short kid young kid was disrespectful & rude all around 😒 He was screaming over me while I was talking to somebody for a part on the phone & the person helping me had to tell the young kid to be quiet and he kept screaming aggressively in front everyone including his co-workers telling them in a horrible manner to take my call outside because thats not his problem ; That was the last straw Im ever walking into that horrible store with bad customer service ! Whoever the manager is needs to fire this kid because he obviously has zero respect in a store period !!

I avoid this store at all costs, unless I none of the other AAPs have the part in stock. They employees dont take their jobs seriously. Location has nothing to do with it. If you go across the street to Autozone, youll notice a major difference in their employees.

Im a 65-yr-old woman who was driving back to the Boston area yesterday, 7-6-19, from visiting friends in CT. I was on the highway when a sudden torrential storm hit. I turned on the wipers, and the drivers side blade shredded immediately, meaning I could barely see. I got off at the first exit and pulled into a parking lot to find an auto parts store. Google maps turned up this one. I called to make sure they were opened, and it was answered by a female voice asking if I could hold. I said sure, and waited. And waited. And waited. After four or five minutes, I started out anyway, since it was obvious Id been forgotten. I was able to get to the store safely and was encouraged to see posters plastering the entrance claiming free installation of wiper blades. I went in, found what I needed, and paid for it, then said, Can you help me put it on? The guy behind the counter gave a self-satsfied smirk and said, Nope. But the signs? Im here alone - cant leave the register. At that moment, a bored-looking girl came out from the back (showing that his here alone excuse was a lie), and I said, Hi. Im the one you put on hold ten minutes ago and forgot. That got a shrug and a sorry.I went out and tried to change the blade. The rain was so heavy I was drenched instantly and the directions soaked and shredded like wet Kleenex in seconds. I got the old blade off, but couldnt figure out how to get the new one on, so I went back in. There wasnt another soul in the store besides the guy at the counter (who was playing on his phone), so I asked again if he couldnt help for a second. Another smirk and a nope.Going back out nearly in despair, I noticed an Auto Zone across the street that I hadnt been able to see before. With only one functioning wiper blade in a blinding downpour, I went across to it and parked. When I went in, I asked the guy about wiper blades, and said that before I got one, would he be able to help me install it. At first he said hed have to ask his manager, but as I explained what had happened at Advance Auto, he got more and more indignant. He kept saying, Thats not right! Thats just not right, and then he said hed help me no matter what. (His manager was standing there and she just nodded.) He was willing to put on the blade Id gotten at the other place, but I insisted on buying a new one, and then, bless him, he came out in that downpour and got it installed for me. I wish Id gotten his name, because he is my hero.If that is the caliber of employees at Advance Auto Parts, I will never set foot in there again. This was clearly an emergency - it rained the entire 140 miles home - and he was more interested in playing games on his phone than helping. The guardian angels at Auto Zone, with their humanity and compassion, will get my business in the future.
