Very Disappointed on recent visit. I was there the day before waited and wait could not get my request satisfied. Went home made a appointment and was their prior to shop open. Instead of saying may want to drop and come back for brakes, ended up wait while other customers came and went. I did not get my van until 12:30 and offer no reason. In short I wont return there until newer management. Oh I went there because prior front brake job. But it later started pulling to right. Instead of fixing that he said I could use rear brakes. There was no regard for my time. And after all. rep had bad attitude... I told him I was customer before he was born...Reggie Hales-Inquiring News

This is the first time I got the oil changed for my car at Midas. They did a nice job and staff is very nice. I will definitely go back and would recommend this place for everyone.

My car started running rough on Friday night on the way home from Boston. I called Juan at 8 am on Saturday and my car was in his bay by 10 am. His master mechanic worked on it for 5 1/2 hours. It runs great!!!! I will definitely be back to see them when my car needs ANY work!! Thanks again to Juan and his very professional crew at Midas.

On 9-19-2020 my sister and I set out for a trip to visit our other sister in New Hampshire. We were about 1 hour out when the tire pressure light went on and immediately we could tell we had a flat. We were on I91N and terrified. We tried calling our Allstate Motor Club and could not get through. We finally got police who helped so much and called a tow. Renos Auto Repair came quickly and put the spare on, then he took us to Midas. En route tire pressure light went on again, and yes we had a second flat tire (both back tires ). The tow driver (Omar) went in to Midas and told the story. He also went above and beyond for us. We were literally taken right away, new tires ordered and on, in under two hours our car was ready to go. I cant say enough how each and every person at Midas went above and beyond to help us out and get us back on the road. I would drive from my home to that Midas facility for any additional service, and I live an hour away. It was a very comfortable place to have to wait, vending machines, bathroom and we set up our lawn chairs out front and enjoyed the sunshine and our lunch while waiting. All customers were also very friendly. Juan came out several times to let us know what was going on with our vehicle. He was excellent. This place gets beyond a five star rating from us. What turned out so scary, ended up to be a wonderful experience, and all because people were kind and really cared about us.

They took me 1st thing, located the issue, fixed it, showed me the new & old parts & gave me discounts I did not know about. I wish this Midas was in my home town. They did a free diagnosis, detailed diagnosis that took about 30 mins or so. Usually people just visually inspect and ask for paid tests to be done. Im glad they offer this free diagnosis!

Went in April 2019 to get my wheel bearings fixed - $733. February 2020 the left bearing went again. I went to a mechanic in Windsor who confirmed. I then went into the Hartford location where the work was originally done. Debbie told me they would fix and discount the parts. I asked for something else to be done as this was clearly their fault and unsafe to drive the car. Bearings should last years! She said she put a call into her Manager and couldnt do anything else. We went to car and found the Managers number and got him on the phone instantly. He told us he would do it for half the price she quoted but not until tomorrow. They allowed me to drive home and risk the bearing locking up all to make $117 more! Why should I have to pay a dollar for a mistake their mechanic made?!?! Planning on going to BBB and Attorney General.

Went for an oil change and they recommended the pulley belt need changing for a price of $280. Problem is I had the said belt changed three months ago when it broke.

Chris is always very helpful. The service is excellent and fast. My car is always ready at the scheduled time, if not earlier. I would highly recommend this location.

Chris and his staff are top rated, up front and honest . They never try and sell me something I don’t need or want, and are up front with their estimates . They have top notch customer service, and Chris runs a great shop . Booking appointments is quick and easy, and walk ins are taken as they come in . I’ve always been satisfied at the Weston Street Midas Shop, and would recommend them to anyone .They also do emissions here, and are quick and efficient. I trust them with all my auto needs.

I thought they closed at 6 because they called me at 4:42 and I told them I was leaving work to pick up my car and I got there at 5:13 and no one was there ... so I left work for NO reason and wasted money and still never got my car . And they are closed on sundays so I have to waste more money taking cabs everyF🤫king place

Ive used this facility numerous time for simple oil changes etc... they do the job, nothing special, so I figured since I was having issues with my car and the location is close to my house. I would just bring the car in and have them work on it. (The battery wouldnt hold a charge) They call and say they would need to change the battery and the brakes. I dont know much about cars but asked if that would fix the issue. The mechanic stated it would help. About $1800 later. The car drove to my house and I was still having issues. Because it wasnt a brake issue. After bringing the car to Firestone in Bloomfield for another opinion I realized I just wasted $1800. Thats my last time going to Midas.

My experience in this place was very pleasant as well as those who attended me in front and their mechanics Andy Vega and Luis Vega who worked my car and it was in excellent condition .. Thank you for your work
