I placed an online order with Capital Spirits. FedEx dropped the ball and lost my order in transit. I called Capital about it and without any hesitation the woman I spoke to apologized profusely and rushed me a new bottle. Thats what I call fantastic customer service. Placed an order online to be shipped to Buffalo. I spent enough to get the free shipping. Placed the order on Thursday and was here by Saturday. My bottle was well packed and arrived in perfect condition. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Ordered online delivery. Driver arrved but couldnt opperate app so would not deliver paid for items.. Store assured me delivery would arrive soon through their own employees. Waited 3 hours delivery never arrived. By this time was too late to order elsewhere. Never received confirmed order. Do not recommend establishment. MJD Management Hartford CT.

Incredible beer selection. When I searched for beer I did not expect to find such a wide variety of local and cross-country craft beer. Their wine and liquor selection look awesome too. One suggestion - with such an emphasis on craft beer, I wonder if itd be helpful to rename as Capital Spirits and Craft Beer. Will definitely return.

Curtis was very helpful in showing me all the Connecticut craft beers. They have an entire cooler dedicated to Connecticut craft beers, I like IPAs and I had way over 20 to choose from. Very well organized with other spirits and a good selection of wine for my friends. When I am in town this is usually one of my first stops. I stock up on a few good beers to drink with my friends in the evening at the concierge lounge at the hotel. Much less expensive in the local bars and especially the hotel bars that are often $10.00 for a good craft beer.

Friendly staff, I always get the alcohol that I need . Its right in the middle of downtown, so convenient for me :D

I wanted to send a little something to family members in CT, so I ordered through a delivery service. Unfortunately, at the same time that I placed my order someone else was at the store purchasing the last of the bottles. (This is not uncommon when using the delivery service and the bottle is pretty popular) They reached out right away to let me know and they were very apologetic. I am not sure who I spoke with but he was friendly & helpful. He told me when the next shipment was expected to arrive, so I called a few days later to make sure that they product was available. I even asked them to suggest a gift for someone and they were very kind to do so. I placed an order and they delivered right away. I’d definitely order from them again.

Manager and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The manager searched me out to correct an error and he went out of his way to help me. Great people.

Stopped by while visiting the area from Cincinnati. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful with our purchases we wanted to make. Went by several times during the visit and sent others in too. Great selection and prices.

When he Checked my ID he looked at it for a while. Scanned it with a light. Then pulled out a book to check it since I’m from Rhode Island and it was a Rhode Island ID. Told me it was “real close” so I told him he doesn’t need to sell me the liquor but I need my license since I commute from Rhode Island every day. This was after I showed him all my other IDs in my wallet. If you are out of state especially don’t recommend going here. Not worth the risk of losing your ID. Also not worth the trouble for anyone. I would make toilet wine before going here again.

I have to order a lot of wine/beer/alcohol for work and this is my go-to place. They have an awesome selection and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Not to mention, they deliver, which is awesome! I was trying to find a keg of a certain beer and they called around for me until they could find it and had it delivered to me in no time. Love this place!

Great selection, placement. Very close to old statehouse square. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and I would trust their advice on everything from beer to wine, even liquor. Hopefully Curtis is working when you visit as he is the most knowledgeable.

Best package store in the Hartford Downtown area. Wide selection of beers, wine, and spirits at very reasonable prices. Staff is always friendly and willing to help. I love that the niche craft beers are kept in the cooler instead of hidden away. This is a great place to get anything from handles of vodka to high-end scotches, or the full gamut between suitcase beers to Omnipollos. I live downtown and its the only place I go.

CS is there when you need them, the added convenience of their delivery services makes them that more valuable in the area! Looking forward to using CS for the next tatt expo visit and the rest to follow!

This is a pretty good liquor store with a deceptively large selection considering its appearance from the outside. Its not there easiest place to find, given its location off Main Street, but if your in downtown, near the XL Center or State House Square, then I think its worth stopping in. Chances are youll find what youre looking for.

The walls are sky high and just full of all kinds of any liquor you could want. I called to see if they had ingredients for a drink, they picked them all up and offered to order them if they didnt have them. What great service. Too bad the street has very limited parking.

Reasonable wine selection and prices. They were also hosting a whiskey tasting in the lobby. I went back multiple times this trip to Hartford and will probably go back.

Manager was tooo strict. I didnt carry my ID card and he didnt allow me to buy which is fine but he is so narrow minded that I should not even carry the bag after my friend purchased the liquor showing his ID card. He was being so professional. It was a big show off and drama. Yet I like him for being strict at first place.
