Good selection. However how they store they back stock is questionable. I purchased a bottle of bourbon and upon opening it the cork began to crumble is the the bottle. This is a sign of a bottle that has been improperly stored. I brought it to the attention of the store who immediately got defensive saying that “sediment” is expected to be in the bottles occasionally. While I agreed on the sediment part this was cork that we were clearly seeing. The employee or owner then stated if I want happy they would get me a new bottle. I took that one home and the cork again split into the bottle. I’ve purchased this brand multiple times(from other retailers) and never had this issue. I’ll stick to beer only from here and purchase my bourbons,wine, and other spirits elsewhere.

Super friendly and a wide variety of what ever you may be looking for and more. I had nothing in my new home and was hosting Christmas. Well I found everything I needed and now have a stocked little bar.

The storefront looks small, and the parking lot is tiny and hard to get in to due to it being on a main road.That all serves to hide the fact that this liquor store is one of the best places to buy alcohol in the area. They seem to have at least a few examples of any typical kind of alcohol you could want, from main brands to small batch distillers.On top of that, the staff has always been helpful when I was looking for something in particular.

The lady working was very helpful when I asked questions. The store had a wide selection, and I will shop there again.

Since this was redone a year or two ago, they have turned around my impression of the store. If I want a good and different IPA I go here. They have lots of variety at a good price. They also typically have a beer or two at the front counter at a discount. Makes it easier to try different beers.

There are 4 liquor stores in Hartford and each has its strengths. Hartford Wine and Spirits has the best selection or liquor. It is clean and the staff is helpful and very friendly. They usually have a few good sales going on. This store also carries some harder to find things. The only down side is that they have a small parking lot and it is hard to find a spot, but that just lets you know it is good.

I really like this place under the new owners. (Not sure when it changed hands, but I visited in December 2019, several years after my previous visit, and the improvement was dramatic.) Service begins the moment you walk in with a hearty greeting from the cashier. The owner is often there, stocking the shelves or doing whatever needs doing. On my first visit he spotted me carrying a 6-pack of a seasonal beer from the cooler and pointed out that they also had it in 12-packs, which was what I really wanted, at a better price. Not a hard sell; just an example of great customer service. I only buy beer, so cant comment on the of wines and spirits. But the beer selection is the best in a wide area, at prices at least as good as anywhere else.

Not a huge selection but neat, organized, and incredibly helpful and kind staff. I was looking for a particular item that they did not have stocked but the employee offered to look into it and bring it in if it was available.

First of all, great hours. I had a slight wine emergency over Christmas and this place was not only open, but had a surprisingly awesome selection. I was purchased a bottle of Mothers Ruin and a bottle of Omen, as it seemed fitting when dealing with family over the holidays.The friendly metalhead attending the register was knowledgeable about some of the whiskey related questions I had.Next time I come to visit family, I be visiting this store again.

The beer selection seems to be dwindling, like the owner ships anything good to his other stores. I was looking for Big bad Baptist varieties and b.c.b.s. which where available in town at other stores, I like the staff at your store so I stopped in. Come to find out everything was held until monday to be released.

Great place, after Village Beverage closed in Slinger I went there and the didnt have many brand of whiskey but ordered it and Im happy. They also have a few antiques for guys that make the trip interesting.
