When we asked how we manage to look at surfaces when we both work M-F, the woman on the phone told us we need to take time off of work to make selections for lights, flooring, etc. Furthermore, they informed us it was at least a 3 week wait for an appointment because of COVID., The issue we have with this is that the Midwest’s largest lighting showroom is open on Saturday’s. The other two stone selection places we were referred to by another fabricator are open on Saturday’s. And of course, even independent flooring businesses are open on weekends - and what’s wrong with the people who get all these same selections from big box stores like a Home Depot? - they sell lighting and flooring. They need to get their information correct before assuming all business operate like theirs- they don’t. I haven’t had to take any time off to make selections for a new space, yet they expect me to as a health practitioner in the middle of a health pandemic. The reason for 3 stars and not 0 is that they installed countertops for us before and we have zero complaints other than they are the most expensive place to get countertops from.

This place is awesome!! From picking out everything to the installers, they are the best!

We gutted and updated our kitchen and were looking to install quartz counter tops. The square footage was relatively large and price was important. We got a few quotes from professional fabricators and Innovative Services was in line with those quotes. The noted a 1-2 week measurement with 2-3 week measure to install time. That was shorter than our other option, and they were $50 cheaper (not a big amount, but hey, its $50 if all other things are equal), so we went with them. They took the full 2 weeks to come out to measure and then we waited another week for them to give us an install date. During that week they called our contractor noting they were waiting on our sink, when they took it with them from the measuring appointment. When they provided us our install date, 3 weeks after we contacted them, the date was 7 1/2 have weeks from when we called them. As we paid half down at the measuring appointment, we were stuck. Our contractor called them, who has given them a lot of business, and they simply said they were busy and couldnt do anything. After 6 months without a kitchen sink, we now have to wait almost 3 weeks more than we were told. They havent installed yet, so I am hoping the quality and installation are worth the wait. Overall, very disappointed in the customer service and their ability to give proper estimates for time and sticking to their word. I can respect and understand long timelines, but be upfront about them.

These guys are great! I have used Innovative Surfaces in hundreds of Homes and they use the finest materials installed by craftsmen. Trustworthy, dependable, I could go on and on. I would recommend Innovative for your next countertop project.

First impression: they are not costumer service focused, helpful or accommodating. Would recommend moving on to another place- especially if you have a project that requires coordination and a timeline of more than 30 days.

Large show room with lots of samples of man-made and natural stones. Plus, an outdoor yard with lots of full-sized granite slabs to look at. Helpful sales staff.

They did our install several years ago but when a Sears dishwasher installer broke the countertop they made it all perfect again. Impressive craftsmanship and responsive staff.
