It would be nice place except twice this has happened to me, I have requested something inside a locked case and after I was told they would get someone they left and didn’t return. It’s experience ruining when you think you’re getting help and have to stand there for at LEAST thirty minutes. It’s annoying

Ive worked everywhere from Wyoming to south Texas to West Virginia. This is easily the worst Walmart Ive ever seen. Shelves empty. Pallets of merchandise scattered everywhere. The staff either pretends you arent there or they are outright rude. Ive been here for 9 months and theres been no improvement. They have to replace the management.Hattiesburg deserves better.

I used to shop here all the time. But I have finally given up. This stores shelves are ALWAYS empty. There is just nothing left there to buy. Also, the employees that stock the shelves are too busy checking their phones to do very much stocking. And the roads going into the parking lot have huge potholes and I dont want to tear up my vehicle to get in and out. I still use the pharmacy and they are all very nice. But for groceries I now shop at Corner Market, Rameys and Winn Dixie.

I really enjoyed the non-meat items in the end cap.

A huge walmart supercenter.. Located right next to Sams club. This is a full service walmart Providing bakery, groceries stuff all basic daily needs are here. This has a huge collection of school supplies kids clothes school dresses and it is usually busy in the daytime this Walmart also has an outlet for Claire’s shop they are bakery says fresh made cakes and pastries. TheyAre maintaining social distancing norms in the times of Covid.

Its nice and all Ive been their 100s of times and I like Walmart its a good place it has lots of stuff like food toys gas tires clothes and more cool stuff I give it 5 star maybe 4 but its five I gave it three though

The workers were doing everything they could do get it done fast, but there was one cashier behind the counter in automotive that was not very Friendly at all.

Wish I could give it no stars. Automotive was rude and not helpful, management was even worse. When I finally got one of the managers she was so disrespectful and acted like I was wasting her precious little Walmart time. Horrible store. Out of stock items everywhere, dirty, junky, and stank. Employees act like you are interupting their conversation on the phone . Never goin back to this location.

Im sorry but Walmart needs people that will answer the phone and direct u to someone that will be helpful.. instead they tell u to hold on and no one ever comes back.. and I recently purchased a pool one of the bigger ones and I had pure hell getting someone to assist me that day and the day after when I went back to pick it up..please guys I wouldnt have even gave a star but oh well I suppose.. oh and getting a hold of a manger is obviously not happening either so goodluck to all that tries thanks

The place is great but the cell phone people cant do their job to save their life. I cant tell how many people come in with a horror story about their number not switching, being lied to about the price of a phone or a fake promotion, fake temporary numbers that are just new numbers and they lie to customers about anything to get a sale, please dont get your phones here we are tired of cleaning up their mess, just come see us at the real phone store, theres one of every store here all by the mall and walmart.

Their online grocery delivery services are terrible. I’ve ordered from them twice. The first time they messages me for my pickup order saying it was ready 1hour early. So when I arrive to pickup I waited nearly 50mins for order. Second order was a delivery order, I waited 2 hours pass the time they were supposed to make it. I called customer service and they said that it’s showing delayed then delivered. They called the store amd was then told the order was taken back to the store bc they couldn’t find my House, which is a lie bc my address shows up on gps. They never tried to deliver. So I asked customer service to remove my tip, which was a good one. They wouldn’t let me speak with the store manager and this girl who I spoke to at the store seemed to have a nasty attitude and had every excuse in the book about a manager. I’ll never shop at this store again!

Huge Walmart plenty of stuff in it found stuff here that was sold out at other Walmart’s only gave it 4 stars cause lots of trash in parking lot. Otherwise it was great inside was clean etc.

My family and I were Stalked and Harrassed by a disrespectful little guy with Jacob on his name tag. Nothing was done about it when reported. I suggest Not going to this location ever . Went back a week later and guess what was still there, yup the same little disrespectful boy.

VERY ghetto. when you walk in no one is doing their job. parked at pickup and stayed here for 30 minutes with cars who have been here just as long. when you go inside all of the coworkers are standing in a crowd talking. no one picked up the phone. had to go inside to tell them i was ready for my order twice and had to wait even longer.

Placed order for pickup well in advance. Arrive to pick up order after work at my pickup time. Sat for two hours waiting. Kept getting checked in and then all of sudden my order was delivered to another car. Hope they enjoy their free groceries. Will never use their service again. Absolutely incompetent people delivering. Stopped by my car at least 5 times with the same information. In the end, I left with no groceries and a bill and told to return at a later time because they were closing. Asked a girl for assistance and never saw her again. I understand they are busy but nobody should ever be sitting for two hours. Literally watched them deliver at least 20 other people’s groceries and obviously mine as well to wrong person.

These people have made me wait an hour in the jewelry department, paged them five times, and no one seems to care.

I like the black angus ground burger here and the fresh produce is always nice. Especially the pineapple and watermelon. The cashiers here are very few in number here so be sure and have a little time to spare when you get here... ☺️

I had written an extensive post but there is no need to elaborate. Where are the employees that run the counters? Especially in sporting goods? I couldnt even get an answer on the phone after calling the main number and waiting several minutes for someone to pick up so I could ask for help. So I left deciding to spend my money elsewhere.

Nice location. Right beside sams club as well. Set up nice with many items as expected.

The first Walmart I’ve seen that NEVER has anything in stock. I drive 30 miles to Columbia Walmart. Things seem a lot more organized there.

Nobody wants to help you

The pickup option is amazing ... but when you call to check in, the staff answers the phone like they are answering their personal cell - its a little off putting ... not to mention nothing is being done about the random people that use the pickup spots for front row parking- there was one spot left whe I came to pick up my order - the rest of the spots where taken by empty vehicles (aka people not picking up that want a front row spot) something needs to be done about it ...

I’m not sure if many people know this, but when you have an item that is not in a buggy, the greeter usually stops and asks to see your receipt. This is NOT a requirement. If you don’t feel the need to prove that your property is, indeed, yours. You don’t have to. I had a greeter insist to see my receipt and when I said no, he stated that it was a “company policy.” This is FALSE. It would do the employees some good to read their contract and see what they actually get paid to do.

The store is very well stocked. I found everything I needed. The prices are still cheaper than anywhere else. But, when it comes to getting help, within the store, its very difficult! I had to go throughout the store to find an employee, and when I did, they said, this is not my department!😭( My back was hurting too!😭) I only wanted the price on paper towels! I did however get harrased, by an employee, at self checkout, bcuz I had 4 packs of paper towels! She snapped me up, saying I could only get 2 packs! I told her, there is no signs saying that, nor, is there signs of prices, on them! This Walmart needs price stickers on the stock!!! And, anger management for some of the employees!!!! I know we all have issues and problems, but, we shouldnt manifest them on our jobs! Be Thankful and happy to have a job, bcuz, theres Always someone less fortunate!

My husband and I have been working out of town since before the Covid19 quarantine order first began. We work 6-7 days a week, even when we are home which is roughly 1-4 days at a time every 4-6 weeks. We work from 7am to 7pm (if not earlier and/or later) no matter if we are working out of town or working locally. With Walmart now opening at 7am and closing at 8:30pm every day, we are no longer able to shop for even our most basic of needs. I know they close at 8:30pm daily because of the Covid19 outbreak instead of staying open 24 hours a day like they have for the past 30+/- years.. The stay at home order restrictions have been considerably lightened and over 98% of businesses have reopened their doors and gone back to normal business hours, even though still social distancing guidelines and requirements must be adhered to. In Hattiesburg, everyone is required to wear masks in public areas and businesses are still limited to the number of people that can be in the building/area at one time. But even though we must follow these orders, I see no reason why they cant go back to normal business hours or at least extend the business hours to open around 5:00-5:30am and close at 12:00 midnight but absolutely no earlier than 11:00 pm. If the hours were extended then this would allow a longer length of time available for people to do their shopping, which in turn would allow fewer people to be crowded together while standing in long lines in this sweltering Mississippi sun and heat while waiting to be allowed inside to buy groceries, hygiene products, medications, pet products, cleaning supplies, etc. I dont like crowds or having to shop where there are a lot of people so i have always shopped in tbe middle of the night because there are fewer people shopping. By going back to the open 24hrs schedule, I could shop continue to shop when I normally would and literally avoid being put at a higher risk of being exposed to the virus simply because i would be shopping in a less crowded store. Please extend the business hours.

Im visiting from out of town and this has to be the cleanest Walmart Ive ever seen. I even wondered if anyone shops in it. It is friggin immaculate. Way more neater than my home town Walmart by far. Kudos to the staff👍

I mean, its a Walmart. Not the best service but not awful. I will say the layout is horrible, though.Kitchen supplies are on the other end of the store from groceries. Toys are away from electronics. Cleaning chemicals are mixed with pet supplies and groceries. It makes no sense and is incredibly difficult to find anything.Thats not the fault of the employees, though. Just bad corporate decisions.

Not one to normally post reviews but tried calling ten times and ring at least 15 times and no one was there to help and I even called each individual department and let it ring and no one to answer.I understand it’s the holidays however outOf all the employees working not one can answer out of that huge store.Besides that the store is an organized store and has a lot I can go in and buy but need to improve on answering phones. Can’t run a business especially one that large and not have a single person not answer a phone in any one of the departments

Was looking for supplies and found most of what I need. Walmart could be so much better stocked if people would stop stealing but that isnt Walmarts fault. I still had a good trip.

Was in there yesterday an walked through the door to get a buggy, literally had to walk through paper an trash to get a buggy. It was everywhere all in the buggys, on the floor, there was other people walkin over it as well. Not a good look on the store when walk through the door an thats what u see.

Line up at the self check out and be prepared for your groceries to melt because this place has a line a mile long to self check out and zero other options. Good luck.

Great selection... Great prices... BUT MOBILITY CARTS ARE MORE OFTEN NOT CHARGED OR THEY ARE BROKEN DOWN... AND IN SHORT SUPPLY FOR SUCH A BUSY STORE SLIDELL IS MUCH BETTER IN THEIR MAINTAINING THIS MUCH NEEDED SERVICE..

My store feels like family. I hate Walmart, the store is to hot and the selections get slimmer all the time. However, the staff are the best. They make me feel like Im hanging out at a friends house. With Walmart being one of my few trips away from the home and kids, I really appreciate the time the staff take out of their busy day to make feel like Im wanted in this store. Absolutely the best people!! Walmart did not earn any stars from me.. the staff earned all these stars.

I’ve been to return items 4 times in the past 3 weeks bc I get them home, open them, and they’re bad. I don’t know if Walmart is being so cheap they won’t hire enough people to check to see if their stock is fresh or what, but it’s time to start shopping elsewhere now. Walmart is more convenient, but is it really when you have to waste gas to drive back up there SEVERAL times to exchange or refund old food?

I had to return an item without a receipt and it was bought on Walmart in-store credit card. They couldn’t refund without a receipt for some reason but CSM Rodney did above and beyond to help me. Thank you Rodney for your time and effort. Excellent customer service experience.

Awesome I couldnt go in the dressing room because they were waxing the area and they had it closed off but they let me go into the bathroom and try on some clothes so that was really awesome I always have a good experience I always seem to find what I need and as far as customer service goes theyre helpful if you ask them

I went to the pharmacy today to have a prescription filled. When I got to the window, I handed the script to the pharmacy tech. He looked at it and rolled his eyes asking me if I knew this was an out of state prescription.. yes, I did. I mean, I live out of state. He told me they might not fill it because of that. He was very rude and snooty. The pharmacist decided they would fill it. They told me it would be an hour, so I walked around for an hour. I came back to get the prescription and the pharmacist asked if Id be refilling it here. Well, she already knew this answer toThis. I said Id have it transferred and she told me the state of MS doesnt allow that. You know...AFTER they processed the script, I paid for it, and had me wait an hour to get it. She told me she could give me the script back if I wanted it. Yeah, well, they wrote all over it. Last time that happened, no other pharmacy would take it. Its just SO frustrating! And they were so rude. Ive never really encountered a legitimately rude person who was from Hattiesburg .. I lived here for four years and nope. Not until now, when I drop in to visit.

My favorite because its close. Usually a one stop shop for us, cashiers and employees are very nice and helpful, well most of them. Some of them dont seem to want to be there at all. I feel sorry for the cart pushers having to stay outside in the freezing cold for hours and not being able to come inside. Must suck.

Best Walmart in Hattiesburg. Cleanest, most stocked, friendliest people. There should be no other reason to go to another Walmart. Been here many times, still the best.

ANY AND ALL HELP YOU WOULD BE APPRECUATED FROM THIS STORE AND THE NEIGHBORING STORE IN LAUREL MS WHICH IS THE STORE I SHOP MOST AND HAS THE SAME PROBLEM FROM THIS STORE BEING SHOPPED BY MULTIPLE COUNTIES BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HAVE ONE CLOSER TO THEM.

This is the closest Walmart for me. I love the people who work here and they usually have most of the stuff I’m looking for. But NO ONE ever answers the phone, in any department. It takes at least 20 minutes to get a person to talk to, and then I usually have to be transferred to the department I need... sometimes with no answer again. The Auto department is hit or miss. The last oil change I had here (will never let them do service on my car again) they got lubricant all over my car, over-inflates my tires, didn’t put one of the tire air caps back on, and then said that they didn’t do any of these things... also, I paid to have my wipers replaced with rain x wipers and they charged me but didn’t change the wipes. Just go to your dealership instead!

I used the tire shop after a tire blew up. I was treated well but there was some unnecessary confusion over tire sizes. I ordered and asked for a size then was told later they did not fit, it was back and forth for a while until someone brilliantly recommended we change to the size I had already ordered?!?! I was happy to get back on the road though. Store was filthy but had a good selection of items.

Great found everything I needed

I attended the Teacher Appreciation event here today. I got my “goodie” bag, did some shopping, then went on my way. I started seeing Facebook posts of all the wonderful things they got. I looked in my bag and found I had been given a ruler and four pens. Not only do I not feel appreciated, I am offended! I tried to call and speak to a manager, but was left on hold for ten minutes. When I tried to call again, no one was answering the phone.

Store not stocked. Out of so many items I had to finish my list at another store.

Ugh Walmart! They fire their senior citizen workers and claim that they retired. I guess forced retirement is a thing. They do have low prices, but not on everything. The best thing about Walmart is grocery pick up.

Car wouldnt crank. Took my battery in to get a new on and noticed it was still under warranty. They tested it for free and it was good. Got home and put it back in, found loose negative connection to the battery clamp. Tightened it up, cranked immediately. Saved me a new battery, thanks!

I have started using the grocery pickup here and I really like it!! There are a few things that need to be worked on BUT its VERY GOOD and I HOPE THEY KEEP DOING IT!! IT works very good for people who can not get out and walk very much such as myself!! I DO NOT LIKE RIDING those wheelchairs BECAUSE MOST PEOPLE THINK YOUR JUST TO FAT AND LAZY!! JUST BECAUSE A PERSON LOOKS OK DOESNT MEAN THAT THEY ARE OK!!!! ALSO I LIKE THIS WALMART BETTER THAN 49 WALMART!!!

Well! Had I not received wonderful customer service in the pharmacy, I would be really irritated. I picked up a simple laundry basket and while looking around, I ended up in the electronics department. I asked the guy standing at the register if he could check me out. He said sure but its gonna take about 10 minutes. He said there were supposed to be 2 other employees walking around in the department and if I could find someone they could check me out sooner. I find the guy, ask him can you check me out? After his looking me up and down replied yeah but he had to finish putting some prices on the shelf and would take a few minutes if I wanted to wait. What? Besides the obvious rude glare of my body, I just sat the basket down on a shelf and left. Where did customer service go? Im beyond irritated! Uggh

Really nice store.

I shopped for 2+1/2 hrs and found everything on the list for the home. Relaxed and did personal 👍 beauty experiences and the store was not crowded.

My biggest complaint with Walmart has always been having to wait so long at the checkout. With the self-checkout I can get out a lot quicker, know what is in what bag, and bag accordingly.
