Its a computer and technology shop next to a pawn shop. use common sense here, folks. Owner has a long history of being shady (see other reviews, research this place..) if you want a good laugh, pick any random hardware on NewEgg, and ask him for a quote.

I mean they fixed the laptop. Had a very high end HP (dv7 series) with a burnt out motherboard. Owner traded for an older (claimed newer) Toshiba (very dirty and sticky btw) for ~$200. It was too slow and traded back to an exact same model (owner claims) HP for another ~$200. Owner kept claiming it was a different computer. I insisted it was the same, even the keyboard. Then claimed it was a different computer with my old keyboard (the 8 key was broken). But I memorize the pry marks/scratch marks/stripped screws that I did in the exact same locations. Owner even peeled off the plastic covering the rear screen to claim it was a different computer. It was my own. Had the same battery serial number and computer serial number. Wiped everything off including MS office 2010 Business and Windows 7 Ultimate. So all he did was change the motherboard for ~$400 when he probably found an eBay replacement for ~$100 or less. Something I could of easily fixed. Not recommended. Not right.

Rho (the owner) is the biggest con man since Bernie Madoff. My mother and him did business a few times and every time I learn what he did to the computer I was astounded by the fees he charged. The last two experiences my mother had with him were down right wrong! Despite the owner charging my mother over $400 for an extremely obsolete laptop that some student from Antonelli College left at his shop. It even has a printed Antonelli College logo right on the laptop lid! Despite my warnings, my mother brought my brothers laptop back to the owner (because they were friends). Although my brother did freely welcome a virus and other malware onto his computer, it was still a rather simple job to complete by simply running Malwarebytes and CCleaner. Maybe an hour worth of waiting and watching the system run its course, Rho charges $320 for his troubles. Then to top it off, instead of installing Microsoft Security Essentials (completely free and no hassle antivirus program), the owner installs a Norton antivirus program (which basically is a virus itself) without asking my mother or brother, and charges another $90! He didnt even activate the serial code! Even if someone decided to blow their money on buying Norton, you could easily find a download for $15! But thats not how Rho functions, he insists on buying the $90 disk to give to his customers The reason this idiot wants to give his customers disks is because he isnt even competent enough to create a restore point or system image! The only repairs this guy knows how to make is by hovering a mouse over software prompts and pressing Install...Ok.....Finish. Dont even waste your time giving this guy a call for an estimate!
