Prices here are more expensive then my past visits to other ShopRite such as Huntington station or deer Park. Plus the floor workers act as if they dont want to be there at all by sending customers around the store to find an item. Not happy

I have been a regular shopper at Hauppauge Shoprite. Bought a double package of Perdue Cornish hens. They had three packages marked down that had a label managers special. I took one for dinner tonight when I opened the package the most vial smell stunk up my kitchen. I packed it up and brought it back, they told me sorry no returns on managers specials. The sale date on the package was good still. I guess someone left them unrefrigerated. Out my money. I will never set foot into that store.

I have been shopping here for a while now. They are very close to my house so it is convenient for me. They are very helpful when you are shopping inside. They usually are very well stocked for groceries and have good fresh food. The only complaint I have is there are never enough cashiers on duty so the checkout time can take a little while. But overall, they are a good grocery store

Nice store pleasant people. Just dont expect to get any deli meat in a timely fashion. Been here multiple times to get things quick one being deli meat. Wont give them another chance. Ended up going to meatfarms down the road.

Where do I start??? Not organized, rude customer service, needs cleaning and updating and no cart cubbies. The parking lot is filled with scattered wagons that get in way. I have noticed shopping carts damage cars. GET ORGANIZED!

Regular shopper here. Pleasant people work here, but checkout is horrible. Standing in line and as is typical here there is no express lane open. Self checkout is long lines,very slow and not limited to small orders. Quite annoying experience

Horrible self check outs ! every transaction requires you to call the attendant over . Bags are by request only and you have get an attendant to get a bag .only a few full service check out lanes open so wait is longi’ve seen some public freak outs over the wait times here on the week ends !!!no cart corrals so you can get your car dented.The customer service desks closes for break at random times … had to wait a half hour to get a refund .snotty workers thru out storerecommend avoiding this location.

If I could give this store a zero I would. 4 bottles of Panera salad dressing all were expired in the refrigerator section.Are store employees exempted from wearing face masks . I saw 2 employees walking around the store without masks not good.

Bit of advice - people still shop at night. 2 self checkouts and 0 cashiers is not the way to go. Telling your customer if the self checkout monitor is up that means its not working is also not the right answer. Place needs some management rehab, this is day 1 stuff.

The home shopping is a joke. If you get your food at all it’s usually wrong, rotten or not even what you ordered. The staff couldn’t care less.. saying they are incompetent is me trying to be nice. Beware !!! I’d give no stars if I was able to.UPDATE: still terrible service here. Been sitting outside waiting for home shopping for over an hour !! Beware, shopping here will cause anxiety!!

Self checkout folks rudely rush you out. Instead of helping with questions, they send you to an empty customer service desk.

The checkout lines were long but the shelves were stocked well. The 5 star came from our cashier. He had the best energy. He was so friendly. I wish I got his name so I could shout his out personally. I even commented on how awesome I thought he was. My parents love this pastry called bowties made specifically in this SR bakery. Mom purchased 3 packages. She stated they were hard and was dissappointed.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. My husband waited outside for 2 hours for his pick up/curbside order. Multiple people telling him it would come but nothing came. I called and was on the phone for almost an hour waiting for a manager only to get hung up on twice. No one here is helpful. They did literally nothing for the wait except bring on more aggravation and frustrated. I would never recommend or go to this location again. Long wait times with no prior notice and you just get hung up on waiting for a manager. We need a discount on our order. This is ridiculous.

Disgrace to the brand. Complete lack of inventory and what was available was sub-par. Zero actual registers open. Loyal Shoprite customer will never again use the Hauppauge location. Both Ronkonkoma and Commack are 5 stars worth driving out of your way, or just use the local stop and shop.

I enjoy the fact that this store is open so late on most days, I wish that more supermarkets stayed open late for us 3-11 shift workers that wanna make some good food when they get home. Even so late and with a little clutter around the aisles its still very clean and you can find whatcha need without much searching.

I recently went to the pharmacy at the Shop Rite in Hauppauge and I have to say I had a great experience! The pharmacist, Michele, was outstanding. I came in for a Shingle shot and she was patient, professional and worked with my insurance to get me the best price. I will definitely be going back!

I am a local and regular here. Although during the height of the pandemic I began visiting other local supermarkets willingly paying more for groceries because this store s constantly understaffed. I am patient and understand things are different now but the lines and wait time here are a disgrace. I decided two weeks ago to try coming back and BOTH times I have ordered my deli meat through the app with ample time, as I always have. BOTH times I left without my order because once it was 30 minutes past time I was so furious that I left and had to go back later in the day. One day it was over 2 hours late the other over an hour! Again..understaffed or non working deli employees! There was 3-4 people working both times!!!! INSANE!

Wasted 15+ minutes trying to collect digital coupons machine was not working correctly .I continued shopping, returned to the do it yourself machine.The item listed in the store ad did not appear on the repaired machine. What a waste.Other shoprite stores..Ronkonkoma for example let you ask customer service for your digital cupons .best service ever no hassles.

Was easy to find the items that I needed. The volume of customers was full but moving.

I was in this store with my shirt covering my face. an employee approached us saying we had to have a mask on or leave . My face was covered and he himself was not wearing a mask.. telling us we had to leave because we had our shirts as our face cover. I told him to get the manager, the manager continued to try to tell us i could not have my sweatshirt tied to my face. completely disturbing, since the kid wasnt wearing a mask and our faces were covered.our faces were covered, but we will be taking our business and the business of our family and friends here in town to one of the many other markets. Spending our money in an establishment that does not harass compliant customers.

I like the selection of food. The layout of the store is extremely confusing. I felt like I was in a maze. I think the fact that literally every other grocery store will put in a store card for you if you do not have one, (if you even need one at all to get the sales prices) but ShopRite will not. Instead, after completely ringing up the order they will tell you that you could have gone to the service desk to get a card if you wanted the sale prices. Um okay. OR you could just put in a card for me like every other grocery store ever.My cashier was a snot. Her attitude is the reason I personally will not return. The store policy of not using a store card for anyone, is simply to rip people off. Your store does not need my name, phone number, address, or email. I should not need to sign up for sales. With that- I also will not send my instacart shoppers there.

I am absolutely appalled with all the viruses and germs that they would allow a customer to put a full grown dog inside of the shopping cart that I put my groceries in. When I brought it to their attention they agreed!!! So why allow it to happen??? Very disappointed, we are in a full pandemic, we all have to do better for others and our animals!!! There is a time and place for everything!

This is the worst supermarket in the area. Poor management, rude cashiers, expire food, out of stock. You name it. A sign made out of cardboard and sharpie to guide people into the self checkout line. Do yourself a favor and drive to the Shoprite store in Ronkonkoma.

A shop which I always found something not Whole Wheat Flour, after Covid-9 i was not able to find in My shop shelfs but called and visited, surprised they have in Shop Rite brand full stock 50 or 60 bags of 5 lbs very cheap very tasty.

This store needs to open more registers and stop relying on self checkout. Am I on payroll? Do I get paid to use the register?The self checkoot registers are slow, often dont work and dont have enough space for large orders that are frequent for a supermarket.Stop being cheap and get some employees!

Ever since they started the upgrades to this store its been a very good shopping experience... Vegetables are fresh, you will pretty much find everything you need for a regular shopping trip.. Prices are fair and actually good when items are on sale... Very decent prepared food section for those quick dinner nights, and the new sushi vendor to me is actually better than the last vendor there... The pharmacy is very good... Pharmacists seem to care and be very knowledgeable...

I have shopped here for years and have always had a great experience. In the past year or so I have noticed a significant difference. They dont seem to have enough staff working and I believe they have to start treating the ones they do have better or they will loose them.

Went to recycle and one machine not working and the one I was using a bottle got stuck and I asked the employee who was out there and he told me to get the bottle out myself and that he couldnt help me at that time.left there and wont be back.

This grocery store has excellent prices on most items. It is well organized - I was able to find the exact items I stopped in for with no issues. The staff that I encountered was friendly and helpful. I also saw a sign outside in the parking lot that said that you can pick up groceries after shopping from home, though I have not tried to do so myself. All in all, great shopping experience. Highly recommended.

I was there as a shipt shopper for a number of pick ups. This location is grossly understaffed and uncommunicative. I waited in the parking lot for and hour and a half. It also takes on average about 15 minutes just to reach them on the phone to let them know youve pulled in.Do not use this location for pick ups.The 90s aesthetic inside was initially appealing until I realized it was unintentionally indicating how behind the curve this location is.

Our go to Supermarket. They have everything we need. Great meat department and selection. Great Hot food options for a quick lunch. Lines move fast. Very clean store. Helpful staff. Huge selection of food options and baby supplies. Open late for anytime shopping.

As someone who works in a grocery store, I must say the level of customer service here is lower than any surrounding market. I saw a girl blatantly say there isn’t a sale for cereal when the aisle adjacent literally has the sale listed. The only reason I didn’t give it 1 star is because I like the deli and produce sections as well as the pharmacy. They need either better training or new staff entirely. I didn’t even have a negative experience personally but every time I come in, a different customer is having an issue.

I have shopped at this Shop Right for many years. I love this store. The staff is helpful and friendly, they will take the time to walk with me to find an item and even check the stock room. The prices are always the lowest compared to the other supermarkets.

There was an obnoxious lady behind me who could not maintain social distance and then had the nerve to talk about me on her cell phone so I could here. She was rude. Shop Rite should police the distance protocol at the register particularly at high traffic times.

Was treated very poorly today. The problem lies with the store manager, Sanka, and the front end manager. I had two donuts I wanted to purchase and they made me wait on a mile.long line when I couldve gone to customer service. There were registers where cashiers didnt even look busy. They had one line for everyone which was ridiculous. Just because these stores are individually owned it doesnt give the managers the right to treat people rudely. Plus theyre still selling rolls bagels and donuts individually which right now is illegal due to the virus. They should be reported to the department of health

The location is pathetic after 10pm. No registers open and they want you to self check out, bag, and charge you 5 cents per bag. I dont work for SR. I will be taking my business to Meat Farm, NS Farms, Best Market.

Store is handling social distancing very seriously. Limits create opportunity for late in the day shoppers to still get sale items or heavy demand items.

Fancy environment. Store produce area completely renovated. On the negative side, they are leaving rotting on sale strawberries for people to buy plus week old soup greens. The produce guy found me a smaller soup green package that was recently delivered. I dont patronize the Janson owned Shop Rite much. But I was in the neighborhood today

I like this place because it is polar opposite of the islandia stop&plop. Here, the employees are mostly smart and personable; at s&s most cant be bothered to do their jobs and theyre not afraid to let you know it.I did have one recent visit where everyone was crabby, and not just in the seafood department. Im hoping it was only an anomaly.
