Junior is extremely nice and helpful. Garage doors didnt always work - no other issues otherwise.Price rates - after 7 months, my monthly rates went up $20. I understand (and was told when I moved in) that prices do go up over time; all storage units do this.I had to move out because this month I received a letter for a 2nd increase that was over $80 more per month! I moved in 13 months ago at $83 per month and it would have been over $180. Junior explained that comes from corporate, but still, thats more than double what I moved in for.

So far, so good. We’ve had the unit for just over 2 weeks. The prices for storage nowadays isn’t cheap but at least this business is VERY clean and maintained. I’ve only seen 2 hand truck/dolly carts, I think 2 more would help, even if the 4th is a spare. I haven’t seen any employees on premise but haven’t needed anything to look for one. It feels secure. The other customers we’ve come across have all been really nice. I like this place a lot!Safe, clean, secure. 👍🏼

Rented at Extra Space Storage for the first time today and Junior made the whole experience awesome! He was extremely friendly and helpful, I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a unit! The facility is clean, not dark or dingy and easy to navigate. Regardless of the fact there is no promotion running on the units it is still the cheapest in the area vs all other competitors, Junior deserves recognition for his hard work and customer service skills!

I had my storage there for 2 weeks/4 days and everything GONE! Not only were expensive items taken, my personal pictures of my family and other personal things you can not replace were taken. My unit was completely cleaned out. Out of every storage unit there, someone decides “oh that unit in particular seems like a good one to steal stuff from”. Not buying it! Somethings not right, that’s for sure. Doesn’t make sense, unless someone on the inside had something to do with it since they have access to everything.UPDATE: The manager on site directed the clean-up guy to clean out our unit in error because the unit was an auctioned unit prior to us renting it. 3 of our items were returned, but the other items were not - pictures that can never be replaced, computer, DVDs, suitcases, bedding, tools, etc - ALL GONE! What has EXTRA SPACE done about it - NOTHING! I called corporate and a district manager was supposed to call me back within 24-48 hrs - And Still NOTHING - NO CALL - NOTHING, its been 4 days. I left Junior 2 messages since we picked up the 3 items that were returned and NO RETURN BACK! So much for TRUSTING this PLACE - NEVER AGAIN! Be very careful with your stuff.

This is a follow-up to my previous review. I had another outstanding experience today at Extra Space Storage. This time I was helped by Junior. He did a great job, was extremely friendly and answered all of my questions - despite how busy he was other another customer that was on site and a contractor who he needed to manage.Extra Space Storage is hiring great people and training them very well. I hope Junior and Tais managers know what a great job they are doing and how well they are representing the company. They both deserve a raise and bonus! Hook em up! You dont want to lose these guys.--After comparing Extra Space Storage to another storage place across the street, I decided to go with Extra Space Storage and would recommend them. Tai, the assistant manager who helped me was very friendly, answered all of my questions and clearly explained everything to me. His customer service was a deciding factor in why I went with Extra Space Storage over a competitor. I hope his managers know what a great representative he is and the value he brings to the company.

I just wanted to say that I think Junior and Mitch in the Hauppauge office have been great to me! From the day I rented about one year ago to now they have been helpful, friendly and more. I recently was able to consolidate some of my things and was able to move into a smaller unit and save some money. Mitch not only helped me figure out what size unit I could move to but recommended a moving person who was able to move my things for me for a very reasonable price!Every time I have seen them, both have remembered my name and I have had several long conversations with them. I feel like we have a bit of a personal relationship and I like it!

Friendly, kind, honest, and CLEAN ! This place on motor parkway is the best storage unit Ive used. They helped me set everything up fast and easy. And even went outside and made sure everything worked for me because I said it was cold. All in all. You cant beat the price for a very clean climate controlled unit. The worker are worm friendly and knowledgeable.

Junior Jean is a pleasure to talk to. He is very help and insightful when explaining all of the things that are needed to know about renting a space at this storage center. Since renting here for the past 6 years I have not had an issue.

We used a storage unit for a little over a year for our business. We were there pretty often. I always felt safe, even when it was night time and got to know the other tennants. It really didnt feel like a storage unit becuase there was a sense of community. Junior is the best! He is so friendly and he always says hi and I always saw him or the other staff around either cleaning up the facility or taking new customers on tours. Recently Junioe called to tell me I hadnt shut the door properly. I realize this is just a storage unit but it was more than just storage it was a delightful experience! I would highly recommend this location!!

Junior and Mitchel have always been a pleasure to work with and if I ever needed anything switching units — they have always found a way to be flexible and work with me. A clean climate controled storage, easy loading and unloading, along with carts to use. The staff, Junior and Mitchell, were both always very helpful and pleasant with all business matters. My only complaint was corporate would raise the rent every six months without notice.

This place is not a secure place private property has been vandalized in 3 occasions and the reaction from management is the same not responsible for damage or lost even with police report. And management in place permits drinking alcohol in property to some individuals
