Matt was really nice and helpful, great customer service skills. They were busy but he still manage to help me with my tire. I left the shop happy with a good tire. If you need help he’s your guy.

Had a screw in my tire gave em a quick call and saw me within 10 minutes no appointment needed! Plugged the hole put air in the tire and sent me on my way for free! Great service and very welcoming.

Ive been going to the NTB here in havelock since I first got here back in September of 2015. So I can say with absolute certainty that they are amazing. I have no complaints. My appointment was for 8am.  I was on time. I checked in, my car didnt enter the shop until 8:20am.At 10am I was informed that my last tire was being worked on.At 10:26 am I was informed that the person working on my car was new and was learning our procedures.A few fun facts while Im waiting:Multiple vehicles came in and out of the shop while I waited.Tires are this businesss business. This should be their bread and butter as the national average for a four tire replacement is 45 minutes (Google it).Appointments are a must here, unless youre returning to get something done right the second time around.  Dropping in for service showed several people being turned away for same day service.At 10:31, there are now two tires on my car.At 10:43, they had me pay and told me the mechanic was resetting everything to make things easier, not sure what that means.At 10:46, I was given my keys and left.Of note, the guy working the desk was very nice and noticed that I had been there way too long.UPDAYE - 21 Aug 2020To the owner with links to empty gestures. Went in yesterday and got a great deal on tires for my daughters car. Bought two got two. Plus it has a year alignment program and free rotations. Which I know I will be using since I’m sure she will be hitting stuff and bumping into curbs. Guess that’s the joy of being a father to a newly licensed 17 year old, but feel better knowing she is driving with safe tires.

I just stopped in to get a slow leak repaired on one of my tires without an appointment, the gentleman working immediately pulled my vehicle in and fixed my tire! I live pretty far south but make the drive up anytime I need service on my vehicle. These guys are honest and will do whatever they can to save you money. They also dont make up problems for you to get fixed unless its actually an big issue. Highly recommend!

I will never go to NTB again i went to this NTB in havelock and management was very rude, i asked if they could please put a tire on for me & got a nasty response saying they were getting ready to go home, now there were still 2 hrs before they closed and all the employees were sitting around talking & not doing anything and this was at 5pm and they close at 7pm. I am not from this area and i am 4 hrs from home and have a broken belt on my tire so i needed a replacement.. Management said it was not their problem and they didnt have time to do it!! I have had multiple bad experiences with NTB & I WILL NEVER CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!! I OWN A MOVING BUSINESS WITH MULTIPLE VEHICLES & THIS COMPANY WILL NEVER TOUCH ANYTHING OF MINE!! IF I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS I WOULD CAUSE THEY ARENT EVEN WORTH 1 STAR!!!

Great guys in the front and in the shop. Its really nice to have a shop that I trust, especially being a woman. Ive been to a few shops in my day that thought I looked like someone that wouldnt know whats up, and this definitely isnt one of those shops. Always a good experience here!

I always come here for my truck maintenance, and I have to say this place will treat you like a valued customer. The employees usually suggest what will save you the most amount of money, they are fair to you and dont just see you as a walking wallet filled with cash.Everytime I come for a fix-up, the performance of my vehicle is returned to its former glory, I couldnt ask for better customer service!

Took the car in to get tire rotation and oil change. My wife thought I was sick for having a company change the oil. Well I didnt want to spend the time on tire rotation thats why I took it in. Got home and the tires were not rotated I know because I have a missing cap on one of them. It was still in the same place. Then i checked the oil i guess it was changed with recycled oil it was dark not the bright yellow brown like it is when I change the oil so needless to say Im done with that place. The guy there is really nice and means good its just the shop guys they dont care and get away with it I guess.

Around noon on a Saturday we got a flat tire just 5 miles down the street from NTB. I called and asked if they could fit us in and they said yes. After putting the donut on, it went flat too. :( We ended up having to get a tow and arrived much later than anticipated. When we walked in they were turning people away because they were completely booked. We were worried, but they had saved a spot for us because we called ahead. :) Super nice guys and we got two new tires at a great price! Highly recommended!

I have been coming to NTB for many years. The service advisors are top notch and always explain everything in detail before any repairs. My old F150 work truck has had some rough times in her old age and I always Trust Steve and Nick to help me get it back working properly and keep the maintenance up.

I well overdue for an oil change in my car. I dropped by on a Sunday morning only to see that their board of appointments was pretty filled up. I must have looked down-trodden because when I said, I guess Im outta luck, the staff fit me in. At first, it was suggested that I try to come back later in the week since they are open to 7 pm but there are circumstances that prevent me from doing so right now. They were very accommodating to me, quick and efficient and took one less stress off my mind. Thank you for fitting me in.

Will never be bringing mine or my husbands vehicles here again! As far as my husbands truck, they left the outer tie rod nut without the pin after doing an alignment, regardless of the fact that that he handed the parts to them himself. This resulted in my husbands tie rod coming out while going down the road and ended up having to be towed back to the house! My car had a tire rotation done, very simple job, only for me to realize that they hadnt torqued down my front left wheel completely leaving me with the responsibility of getting a new wheel because they say Theres other contributing factors It doesnt take rocket science to figure out that the only contributing factor was them not doing theyre job, and not taking responsibility for theyre screw ups. Will never ever be going back here again, not even recommend to somebody coming through town.

Get an extra star because the overall outcome was what I wanted. However the execution was bad and worthy of one star. 1.5 hours to plug and patch a screw in the tire. Not acceptable. I made an appointment a few hours in advance and the car made it on the lift on time, but then the crew went to lunch or something because it sat for a good hour without the tire on. Finally, when I checked the pressure later it was at 42 psi. Recommended is 34psi, max is 36 psi. None of this was the end of the world-type error but I will never go back and dont recommend others go there either.

We had made an appointment at 0230pm and we didnt finish there until 0450pm. Granted they were busy with people prior to us. But we did have other chores to attend to and had it all planned out. It was just a long a really big inconvenience

Our experience at the Havelock NTB was more than fabulous! I cant say enough nice things about the service, price & especially one of the managers, Steve. Mr. Steve went above and beyond to help us out. Needed a new tire badly yesterday, a Sunday. Really couldnt swing the total price & Mr. Steve did everything he possibly could to make it affordable and got us back on the road within an hour and a half of arriving there. He was more concerned about being able to help than the overall dollar sign and I cant begin to say how much that means. I wish there were more people like him. Not only in the business world, were customer service is severely lacking in many places & employees are more concerned about their paycheck than their job. But, in the world as well. Less me, more we. NTB has such employees on their payroll and I pray theyre paying this young man what hes worth. Many, many thanks and my hats off to you Mr. Steve and NTB Tire in Havelock. You have my business from now on. God bless you Mr. Steve!!

Worth every penny. Was running late and my car battery started to go out, took it in to NTB to see if they could test it and let me know if it needed changed, they tested it and let me know before they changed it that it was a bad battery and asked my permission to continue with changing it out. Got it done in a timely manner, gave a couple discounts that helped save a few bucks, and have a great warranty on the battery. Not too much more I can ask out of them.

Never got pushed into anything extra. Good deals. And quick service. Except the last few times my steering wheel has been left with grease on it. This time they also left a rag and the paper on the floor. I really shouldnt have to clean up after I get my car back. But the service has been good for years theyre just getting a little sloppy.

We always get great service here, Ricky the service manager and Murphy, our favorite mechanic are top notch. Would recommend them to anyone.

If you are visiting or a local you need to use this shop. The guys here are great technicians and won’t rip you off. Sometimes you have to wonder if a shop is taking advantage of you. You don’t need to have a worry about NTB in Havelock. Been going here for over 10 years and I haven’t used any other shop in town since.

Ordered tires for my F-150 via the NTB website on Monday. The website stated that my tires were available and could be installed on Saturday. Scheduled a 0800 appointment for Saturday. Received a call Friday evening and was told my tires did not arrive on the truck. Caller said they would phone me back Saturday to update me on the status...no call. A week later I have received no phone calls or updates. Decided to move on and found a better deal on better tires elsewhere. They must be doing pretty good business if they can afford to lose a customer that is ready to buy 4 tires.

Another 5 star review. Had a blow out on Friday, got the tire replaced by a random garage off the highway.The NTB crew ensured the tire I received was good to run with the rest of my tires due to the AWD system and checked the balance since it wasn’t done at the garage.Best NTB I have ever dealt with.

Great service

Purchased a tire and paid too much, after a year it has a failed belt, with almost no tread wear. The tire is defective, there has been no road damage to the tire. -paid over $85 for a high quality single tire for a Toyota corolla, Rep refused to give any discount for the defective tire (on left rear entire time so most protected location on a car) Unless you pay extra for road hazard (would have been over $100 for a single tire). Rep claimed it is road damage since belt did not fail in a few days...VERY BIG FAIL to your business, never shopping with you again.

A great place to service your vehicle with friendly employees providing good customer service. We have used it many times for oil changes and tire purchases. If there is a problem with your vehicle that they are not comfortable with, they will recommend you to the dealership.

Extremely upset with how the service went at the havelock location here in NC. I went to this shop back in july for a grinding sound coming from the front end of my vehicle. They chalked it up to the metal tab that the brakes sit in and claimed that the noise will go away in a day or two. I had to go to Connecticut the next day and safe to say the noise didnt go away. I stopped by the kia dealership there and they diagnosed it as a bad bearing and that its safe for the vehicle to drive in the condition that it was in but I should have it fixed as soon as I can. Fast forward to now and I call NTB and let them know what I need to get done(even though they couldnt diagnose it themselves when I originally brought the vehicle to them) and the representative tells me it will be 200 for labor plus parts. I go in the next day and was told that it will be near 500 dollars. They claimed that I would need to have my brake fluid replaced and the total cost for that service was over 100 dollars and they also charged me 120 dollars for the bearing. I declined the brake fluid service because I told them there is no need to replace the fluid for the repair I need done and I accepted the 120 for the bearing assuming it was the hub assembly/bearing kit. Well come to find out that it was not the hub assembly/bearing kit bit it was a 40 dollar bearing from oReilly part number 510034 line mpb this is where they get there parts. Then they claim to have told me about the worn hub assembly and that I declined this service and it will cost nearly 450 to replace. This shop fails to fully inform you of everything and they up charge tremendously for parts they get from the local auto parts store. I will not be coming back here and I highly advise others to stay away. Make sure you do research on the services you think you need for your vehicle because the representative was talking to me at first as if though I have zero mechanical experience. I am an airframer and typically do all the maintenance on my vehicle but felt like having them do this for me and safe to say that I regret it.

Had a few issues trying to order the wheel package I wanted at first, but the crew at the Havelock NTB kept working with me until I was satisfied. The manager, Nick, took care of me and ensured I was 100% satisfied with their maintenance and customer service. I will take my vehicles no where else for service.

We took our truck in yesterday for a state inspection and were told it would need an alignment, new ball joints and center link....we drove the truck there with no signs of any of these problems but were handed a $500+ estimate in order for it to pass inspection. After stressing all night about how we were going to come up with the money, we were told by a friend to get an estimate somewhere else. So this morning we took it to GearHeadz for a free estimate of the problems listed. Our truck passed inspection and no problems were found. Thank God we didnt waste our money at Merchants. And we will never again waste our time there either!!

On our way to the beach our tire pressure warning light turned on. This was the closest place so we stopped for assistance. They were so nice and helpful. The gentleman working at the counter didnt try to sell me the more expensive tire even though they were in stock. Plus we were back on the road in less than an hour. I brought my car in 3 months ago for a tire alignment and to get a belt tighten when I left wires were caught up into the belt and yanked from the engine and grounded out it ruined components in the engine. I was kept under the impression that they were going to pay for all the repairs up until I went to pick up my vehicle they did. NTB charge me almost $650 to fix the mistake they made. They wouldnt give me my vehicle until I paid it took almost 3 months for them to complete the repairs this is the kind of shady mechanicing that people take their cars to corporate stores to avoid all the local mechanics in the area Ive always been upfront and honest with me and then quality work Ive learned my lesson.

Absolutely best place to go here in Havelock. Brought my rims and tires here for my truck. Long story short the used tires I bought had holes on the side wall. Nick and Dave both took the time to redo my wheels on my old tires withought hassle and thats the service people always want. They give 100% to customer satisfaction.

They dont deserve even 1 star. They are gouging people and they know it. Just asking to have a valve replaced they w anted to charge me 5 times the price where I had it done with a top brand garage. The explanation the mecanic gave me was plain BS. 5 times higher is not insane,..its robbing people. Never go to that place and save money.

Did not have appointment. Unexpected flat tire, they were near our location. They plugged flat so we could make it home. No charge and great customer service.

Refused service because well over a year ago I was upset with a worker there in the past for doing the job wrong and caused damage to car and I spoke with him in a raised voice, maybe yelling even when he tried interrupted me. Constant problems with them using air tools and over tightening lug nuts. spec is 76 ft-lb but they were 150-210ft-lb! Ive avoided going there for anything as long as I can, today I just needed an alignment. Honestly Ill gladly take my money elsewhere, and recommend all my friends and family they do the same. Sorry to Miquel (might not be spelled right), he just works at the wrong place. If he moved to any other shop I would go there for work that I dont have the equipment for.
