Once again Mike Romano comes to the rescue with great lighting knowledge!Customer Service is great. Prices are excellent. He knows exactly what fixtures will work for you. Bring pictures of your rooms. Have mirrors also.Looking for part time workers also. You will learn a lot from Mike who has been in lighting business for many years. Open on Sundays.
So this boutique place wants to beat the larger lighting stores at their game, but here is the thing, you need tremendous customer service for customers to stay loyal to the business. We spent probably close to 2k in this store, yet as soon as we had an issue with one of the light fixtures, everything went downhill.With a boutique, you would think they would bend over backwards to help, but they don’t seem to want to lift a finger to help resolve any issue at all. They say things like “here is the customer service number for the brand you bought, you go call them.” Then they don’t make any effort to give you your order number that THEY have since they made the order. And Good luck if you buy late in the year and you have to get your order info in a few months (in the next year) . THEY WILL NOT HAVE IT. They Give you some BS that all their papers:orders are with their tax accountant! Really? Not electronic copies? No duplicates on file in case you lose one?USE CAUTION WHEN SHOPPING HERE. If you buy anything - be warmed about the grumpy aweful service and hope you don’t have any issues. They treat you like you are annoying them. I am not recommending this store to anyone. You would think after 2k spent, we would be a valued customer. Unbelievably disappointed. You can find many of the same pieces online once you know brand. Too bad too... always nice to try to support a boutique store. Unfortunately their customer service destroys any chance of that boutique feel.RESPONSE TO STORE REPLY:Lent us a fixture? No, the original fixture ordered was defective, and instead of ordering a new one, you asked us to take the floor model to see if it would match the other $800 we spent on those fixtures. Thankfully, the chain links of the floor model matched the specs of the fixture so we were able to use it. Thus we spent full price and ended up with one new fixture and your floor model. It is really our fault you didnt call for the fixture to be returned?? Originally you told us we would have call the manufacture and resolve (take pictures, wait for local rep to call us, etc). Thankfully, upon OUR suggestion, we took the floor model as the replacement so we would not have deal with replacing the original. So give me a break. Stop being grumpy. And what happened when we tried to return another fixture that arrived BROKEN. Well, I described that in my review above. How about actually helping us return the broken fixture that your store ordered for us? Happy to take the review down if you actually show some decent customer service.
New owners and boy this store is a great store to do business with. The owner Mike is such a nice man and his staff is also very knowledgeable. Excellent customer service! I will definitely make this my go to lighting store.
I went here to support local business instead of going to a big box store, but I encountered poor customer service, poor listening skills and an attitude. Avoid this merchant and buy your lighting fixture online or at another store where they provide good and friendly customer service. The experience actually merits ZERO stars, but google doesn’t allow that.
I now have two beautiful chandeliers in my home and i absolutely love them! The lighting studio went above and beyond to actually look into the catalog to find me what i was looking for, as they did not have 2 of the same in the show room ! Quality !
Hands down the best shop i have seen. Best range of products. The staff and service is brilliant, things that will keep me returning. Highly recommend it!
