Very courteous salesman at both this and the Concord location. A little mix up on the price but finally worked out and I left with the promise of a new refrigerator delivered and installed in the next ten days!

Our salesperson Matt was knowledgeable and listened to our needs and concerns. I wished there was a more complete array of available appliances in the store to look at and compare. The unit we ultimately ordered was not present, but on the basis of similar products on site from the same manufacturer I am confident I know what I will receive. However, at least one of the manufacturers we were considering was not at all represented in the store. We ultimately placed a order for a 36” Dual Fuel range. Matt gave us a tentative delivery date, which is out of his control. We will see how close they come to the date they offered. At this point there isn’t anything more I can say. We will see how delivery and installation goes...

I shopped online. The sale representative is very pleasant and helpful. I have been shopping for this thermador a freedom induction cooktop all over the Bay area and I was not able to find one until I contact Monark Premium Appliances and they was able to help me locate the cooktop I want.

MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!DONT TAKE MY WORDS FOR IT. THEY MAY HAVE 2.8 STAIRS, BUT LOOK AT THE LATEST REVIEWS FROM OTHERS...MANY 1/5 STARS. NOT GOOD.I ordered nearly all of my appliances for my remodeling project (nearly $100k) from this place. At the beginning, the service was great until I have paid for everything.No one was able give us the specification on the dimension for the cabinetry. We had pre-installation visit and everything was approved. When the appliances came, the new installers was not satisfied with the pre-installers approval. Therefore, they left without the installation, but gave us a different instruction and then they will come back to install.I have tried to call the Manager of this store, but got no return phone calls.I WOULD HAVE GONE SOMEWHERE ELSE IF I KNEW THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN.Monark personnel dont take on the responsibilities when a problem occur. Their coordinating office is at a different place vs the selling office.JUST GO WITH LOCAL DEALERS WHO OWN THEIR BUSINESSES INSTEAD OF MONARK. This way, at least you can talk to a decision maker.

Purchased a Wolf hood back in May and Monark couldn’t complete the installation. They indicated they would pay for another outfit to complete the installation but then backed out. The hood is still not installed. The sales and installation team are lacking the appropriate level of knowledge on the products they sell.

BUYER BEWARE! When we remodeled our kitchen and went to Monarch Appliance to purchase appliances Evan was very helpful and knowledgeable. Our issue began when our Thermador Dual Fuel stove arrived in non working order. The gas elements would not ignite and a bracket for the oven rack was defective. At Evans request we agreed to have a Thermador technician come to our house and evaluate the problem. 3 weeks later it was determined that the stove was not in working order and the problem was probably a defective regulator. We did not want or purchase a refurbished appliance and we requested a new one. Evan has not been our advocate and 8 weeks later in our beautifully remodeled kitchen, we are cooking on 2 portable burners from Walmart!. Thanksgiving and Christmas were not as planned thanks to Monark Appliance. Thus far there has been no resolution and we have forced to dispute the payment on out credit card.

BEWARE....DO NOT PUTCHASE FROM THE CLEARANCE CENTER! Here is my story: We purchased a 48 GE Monogram range from the Clearance center. We were told it was brand new but that the original purchaser wanted an electric oven and not the gas version. We also purchased the additional warrantee and were told it would be warranteed as if it was brand new. Needless to say after installing the range it has yet to work. I left Monogram messages for a month without get a call back. Finally a manager called me and said shed work on it. Its been a month since she called, Ive followed up via email and phone and havent received a response yet. Ive been working with GE to resolve this and they have been sending out a service technician about once a week (with a 4 hour window no less) to try to repair. They say that because it is not in fact NEW but a 2014 model they will not replace the unit...they will just keep sending out service technicians. I am exploring my recourse options. Please dont make the mistake I did by purchasing here!!

Our experience with Monark Premium Appliances Co in Hayward had been a nightmare. We ordered a brand new set of Thermador appliances from Evan on 8/31/2017 for our kitchen remodeling. But when we received the stainless hood on Dec 2, 2017, it has scratches at the front and no protection film on the hood at all. I emailed Evan to notify him the situation and he offered to either have someone buffer it or replace it with a new one for us. We told him we want a brand new hood we paid for instead of a refurbished one and asked him to reorder the hood asap so our contractor can work on the ducting and coordinate with other trades. Since the remodeling project has been delayed seriously and we kept asking for the new hood so our contractor can complete the job. Also I founded out the hood Monark delivered to us was made in August 2016, one year before we ordered it. So I called Thermador to inquire if this hood was made for me as Evan stated, and was told that the manufacturer would not fabricate any appliance until they receive customers order and would ship to customer within 3-4 weeks after is was made. So someone was not telling me the true and what we received was either a returned item or a showroom floor sample. The range I ordered from Monark delivered to my house 2 weeks ago was a damaged one too so they had to reorder it.I have tried to work this out with Evan and Monark for 3 months now. Up to today Monark still has not responded to confirm if the y had ordered the new hood or not. I also requested to talk to Evans supervisor, but no one from Monark got back to me neither. Now we still cannot use the kitchen as we are still waiting for the hood and range replacement.

I was here in truck for delivery i asked them if I can use restroom then the guy told me we don’t have a restroom for drivers. Like wth drivers going there for deliveries from different cities and states but this guys don’t have restroom for them. 😑

The hours of operations is all messed up here. It says they close at 5pm both online and on their building. We showed up around 4pm on one day and no one was there. We made an appointment for another day to make sure that doesnt happen again and no one was there. What horrible customer service and a complete waste of my time two days in a row.
