I would give 0 star if thatβs an option. Waited for two weeks for my glasses and was told my lenses are out of stock. Whatβs funny is the sale girl didnβt think itβs their problem, so no apologies but lots of attitudes from her. Would recommend all not to visit that place and to avoid getting upset by this place. Just go online if you can.

I called this location as it was one of the few in the area with a Doctor in-office on a holiday, I needed immediate assistance with a corneal ulcer. I missed my appointment because I was able schedule one with a doctor closer to me, but forgot to cancel. Dr. Shepard followed up with me via text to ensure that I was seeking treatment for this ulcer, and I greatly appreciate the care and follow up on her part.

It has been many years since the last time Ive been inside the Southland Lenscrafters store and today and the was assisted by Stacy, it was a a great experience from start to finish- efficient and shen I couldnt find what suits me best, Stacy knew exactly what I needed and where under the display racks : excellent product knowledge and superior customer service!
Walked into LensCrafters at 7:15pm, 45 minutes before closing. Initially, we thought it closed at 9pm, but an employee came up to us and said, What do you want? Were just about to close. We said we wanted to look at some frames. The employee wasnt very nice and just said theres nothing that they can do for us since theyre about to close. There were no other customers in the store and two employees who were sitting down talking when we arrived.We went to another retailer a few days later and picked out frames, ordered them, and bought them in less than 20 minutes. Obviously LensCrafters doesnt want any business so just stay away from this location.

Oh my where do I start. Dr.Jodi is a Goddess for eyes!!!!! She will make you comfortable as much as she can. Before you even explain your situation she already knows! She is well aware of her Equipment she knows it all. Her staff is amazing. They know what they are doing they explain every details! Stacey made my expirience easy for my first pair of glasses. Oohhhhhhhwwweeeeee feels like I got new pair eyes π π€£! Would definitely recommend!!!!

The Dr. was knowledgeable and efficient I appreciated the fact that I wasnβt pressured to find some glasses quickly, and led to the door, since I showed up on December 31st for an eye exam and to choose glasses. My prescription sunglasses were literally ready the next day...New Yearβs Day!

Horrible customer service in the eye exam department. Scheduled an eye exam online and confirmed it and when I showed up they did not have it scheduled. We waited for an hour to get in. I called to order contacts and now they dont do orders over the phone. Totally inconvenient! I spend a lot of money there every year, you would think they would appreciate the business!

It has literally been years since Ive had an eye exam, so needless to say I was a little nervous making an appointment. I was able to get an appointment within 5 days of scheduling! This was my first time going to the Lenscrafters at the Southland Mall. The staff at the desk were friendly and welcoming. They were very thorough with their paperwork and got me in to do my exam withing a few minutes. I felt very comfortable with the woman that did my exam. After a few test and notes I was walked to a room to wait for Dr. Monica Liou. Right away I could tell that she was very passionate about her work and took time explaining to me how my insurance benefits worked. After a few minutes talking with her she let me know that I still had very strong vision and wouldnt need glasses. She informed me how often I should return for my next exam. Dr. Monica Liou was very kind and took the time to ask me if I had any other questions. This establishment is top notch and I am definitely returning and referring!
WARNING !!! - STAY AWAY FROM LENSCRAFTERS SOUTHLANDWARNING !!! - STAY AWAY FROM LENSCRAFTERS SOUTHLANDHad a very bad experience with Lenscrafter Southland Mall Hayward, CA. My teenage daughter got her lenses replaced and less than 2 months later the film started coming off and was spotty. We were later told that Lenscrafter had put on an extra layer of reflector film on the lenses unbenounced to us. This film will sometimes peel off. They still refused to reimburse us or redo the lenses. Store Manager Lashonda and her assistant blamed the faulty lens on my daughter and said because she was a minor she most likely did not care for the lens properly. She actually said she may have gotten hairspray on the lens or left it in the sun and the lenses were the victim of heat damage, or perhaps she did not clean it properly.None of the excuses were true she only used water and the provided cloth to clean the lenses. She does not use hairspray. She cannot see without her glasses so of course, she has to wear in the sun and yes the sun is hot.Instead of just owning up that they are using shotty material I feel she just She shifted and blamed a child. If you have children steer clear of Lenscrafter. This NOT kids friendly store. If you do shop there be prepared to pay an extra $34 for a warranty on top of the already high price of the frames and lenses. I hope no one has to go through this again.
They over charge everything, I was able to buy cash online, somewhere else and save 140$ W/O insurance. They bump up the price to take all your insurance allowance and still charge you more. Go for the exam, buy somewhere else!
Arrived two minutes late for an appointment due to traffic and was turned away and asked to reschedule - horrible customer service with an older person who was cool with misgendering customers - will never come here again!
Treat their employees like dogs, never shop here, besides glasses are cheaper online, now, all you need is a prescription.
