I unfortunately have to say I avoid going to this location the people that work there are usually never happy they walk by you like youre the problem only one woman is super friendly shes always on selfcheckout short brown hair with glasses wish I knew her name thats the only positive for me for this location. The lines are always outta control for this location after 10am so if you want to avoid that early is the best they seem like they never have enough staff for the lines.

This has become my favorite neighborhood grocery store. The employees are super nice--I once had a cashier repair one of my bags with packing tape of her own free will, which was wonderful. Also, whoever stocks this store is impressive. Ive found somewhat rare drugstore items here—essential oils, anti-fungal creams—that are cheaper than Target or Walgreens. The produce is good, and nearly all employees are conscientious about masking during COVID.

My review is totally based on this Luckys having whole and portioned Catfish. The supermarket next to my house only has Catfish Nuggets.

Busy as usual at Lucky. There prices are a little high for me.

The meat department is really good for this AREA. The butchers are really helpful and cool. They have good prices on good quality meats. They have shrimp on sale sometimes and I make BOMB chipotle shrimp tacos with them or some Ceviche/Aguachile. Also the cashiers seemed to be hand picked bc they are all nice and good at what they do. My fav supermarket in this area BY FAR! 💯💥 OH and the deli has some fatty subs for about $10.00 out the door that can feed three adults...... Nice

Poor customer service especially from the deli. Unsanitary practicing eyewitness a deli employee drop a utensil for picking up meat she picked it up off the ground and never once washed it. I brought it to the manager attention. High thief Ive witnessed on 3 separate occasion

I am disabled and had a horrible experience in the self checkout line. There was a misunderstanding to how to purchase through the self check out. And the clerk was rude and aggressively negative and not helpful.

Always good buys, great variety, and friendly staff.

Lucky is always good to me. While shopping, I find what I need and at checkout Im taken care of.

At check out I paid with a $100 bill and Cashier give me the displeasure grunt. I ended giving her two $20. Also twice I have purchased discounted meats with a $2.00 off sticker at self check out but both times the self check out Cashier informed me that the meats are not for sale. Why then is there a discount sticker on those meats? What is it doing at the discount rack? Why am I refused to purchase them? The past 10 years I have been shopping here and most of the staff are good except for Cashier Lisa and the self check out Cashier.I am a elderly Asian American and its sad to be treated by this staffs at your store.

Husband and I have been shopping here for 19 years. We get great customer service when needed. Store is clean and well stocked. Produce is very good. Always selection of fresh fish. My husband has requested couple items over the years and they order it for him. Plenty of parking.

So happy they still had Easter eggs, but kind of messy.

Wow. Its great to live in America! My experience with Lucky dates back to the 60s. This store is 100 times better (and bigger) than the one I remember on Foothill Blvd in Tujunga, CA.

The store was clean and well organized and a good selection. But the cashier was rude and expected us to bag our own groceries while she chatted with the next customer. We spent a lot of money so more help would have been appreciated. 😠

Grocery stores are not my favorite places. This one is laid out pretty well. Parking is usually easy and that is an attraction for me. The personnel are usually very accommodating.

Luckys as of Safeways are a little bit on the expensive side their sub stores play save Max seem to have lot better prices wish we had one in this area closest one I can find for Luckys is in Union City on Stevenson I believe

I love going to this store. The people that work there are family friendly type people. They are helpful and dont make you wait in long lines like the Safeway on Jackson! Plus the store is cleaner inside they have better food, food that is stocked! Both stores could stand the restrooms be cleaner though. IJS!😉🤗

I made two separate transactions at the self checkout, because I needed two separate receipts. As I was wrapping up the second one (transaction wasnt even finished), a cashier came over and demanded to know why I was only ringing up three items when I had more in the cart. She thought I was stealing the other bag of groceries, even though I had just paid for them. She then proceeded to look through my bag and check my receipt to make sure I had rung myself up for every item. It was embarrassing and ridiculous. I dont need to be treated like some thief. I wont be back.

Not too many problems. Staff is friendly and kind customer service takes a while sometimes. Pharmacy is awesome. Bakery is ok. More expensive than food maxx but both owned by the same company . parking is good. And the shopping center is right by the freeway 880 and 92. Ac transit bus line 56 comes through here. Overall its a 9 out of 10 store. Not too many complaints it has electric carts. And handicapped friendly. Associates do help people

Popped into a store Id never been to before looking for some lunch. The two women behind the Lucky deli counter were lovely. Cheerful, polite, efficient. The young cashier at check-out also. These three women gave me some renewed hope for humankind in these dark days. Almost made me want to move to this neck of the woods.

They require a code to the bathroom (which is beyond the produce and pharmacy departments).a note on the bathroom door says DO NOT ASK the pharmacy although the pharmacy is literally nex to the bathroom. They require customers to walk BACK up to the front. This could be DIFFICULT for the elderly or parents w small kids etc and so on. I asked a priduce clerk for the code....it was the wrong code.PHARMARCY DOESNT USE THIS BATHROOM??

Its meh! Produce on weekends its hit or miss. The fresh baked bread is on point. No hand baskets, which REALLY sucks.

Frequently need to wait 20 minutes on line. Sometimes longer. Rarely see employees in the isles so that a question can be answered but easy enough to go to register and ask cashier to send someone or ask cashier where something is. Friendly employees- especially if they know and like you.

Ordered two fruit platters online.Have never had a problem with the last half a dozen times I have ordered. The process was simple - I ordered online, went to pick up, received paper, paid at checkout, picked up my order and I walked out happy because the food is always good.Today (Feb 13th) I went to pick up an order that I placed at the end of January. I did what I normally did and went to deli to ask about my order.Lady with longish dark hair and a ton of highlights said there were no orders today than told me “Oh if you don’t pay for it online we don’t get it” ... I’m there dumbfounded because I have the confirmation email on hand and she was like “oh tough luck”. I was forced to improvise which SUCKED because if I wanted off the shelf stuff I would NOT have ordered weeks ago.As soon as I got home I went online to see how I could’ve missed the online payment section and what did I find? There is NO payment option. They make you pay in store because there might be an increase in price or so if they have to substitute items. Incredibly upset and will not be doing online orders here anymore as they’re unreliable and the lady at the deli has horrible customer service.

Usually its what it is a grocery store. But I have to say today my girlfriends daughter and I had a very sad and positive experience in one visit. Stopped to get a few things and she 10yrs. young and when we left about a mile away she remembers her phone. Well it was left in the cart outside of the store. We get back and look for it asking the store employees and everyone. Im trying to call the p phone and finally someone answers, it was turned in to the employee who answered. Long story short, got phone back! Luckys was just that for a little 10 year old girl LUCK!

I had the worst experience of my life, The manager has poor customer service training. He did refuse to change a coin star voucher for me stating that he did not had money, when I went to another register, he took all the money just before it was my turn. Ill never go there again, and he should be more professional.

Basic Luckys store. Its been there for years yet many people dont realize its there. 20 +++ years ago. I remember when it was Luckys then changed to Albertsons and got remolded then reassumed the name Luckys.

Tried to purchase a gift card with my company card and they treated me like a criminal told me it was cash or debit only. Teresa rudely told me visa wont pay them for it if its on a credit card except I went down the street to safeway and they told me that they are wrong and they always get people talking about that. Not to mention the lady who paged over head with 5 people in line someone else to come up and looked at us and walked away... what was that.
