Needed a prescription knee scooter for surgery recovery. I called 3-4 times as they were in-network. They asked me to fax prescription and never returned multiple calls after that. Do not recommend.

This company is the worst, unethical, immoral company I have ever dealt with. And unfortunately they are the supplier of my sons medical equipment. My sons brakes on his wheel chair were malfunctioning and they took over 2 months to receive the brakes, they then tried to postpone it longer because they lost the brakes in there warehouse. After I refused to accept this answer they magically found the brakes within the hour. Thankfully my son was only 3 years old and we can still carry him around but they essentially took away his mobility throughout this time period and dont assist with a loaner chair. Fast forward several months, my sonsstander has a malfunctioning pump, I contact this branch where again I got the equipment from in the first place. They are refusing to fix his equipment because my son is allegedly no longer a client of theirs. They have no reason he is not a client of theirs just that it is in the notes they have. Client or not there policy is to maintain there equipment and keep it in working order for the duration of the equipments useful life. They are essentially discriminating against my disabled son, whom there company is specifically supposed to help. They just dont care about people, and have no compassion or regard for what this equipment is for. If you have any options other than this company, Do yourself a favor and GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE.

I have never had an issue with national seating and mobility. We get all my sons equipment from here and it comes in faster than I realize. Weve had the occasional wait on certain equipment but only because the regional center was delaying the process of approval. Ed is amazing and is so good while working with my son and his needs. I cant wait to see my sons new wheelchair.

My daughters power chair has been broken since mid-march. They are supposed to fix it soon. However they are very bureaucracy and have no sense of urgency. Very poor communication not just to their customers but also internally. They cant not get the required parts from then manufacturer. My husband needs to call them every day. Yes. EVERYDAY. They say they will call u back the same day. NEVER happened. Now is mid May, my daughters power chair is still not fixed. They missed appointments for at least 3 times. Technician was no show. We were waiting at home and called them . NO Response! Of course, they never called us in advance to tell us if they could not make it.We have had insurance company approval long time ago and the broken part is under warranty. Whats the problem?! They dont even understand the process to submit documentation to the manufacturer to get parts. National seating and mobilities staff just sat in the office and wait the manufacturer, in our case, it is ProMobille, to send them parts automatically. Ridiculously business.Do not trust them and do not give them business. Its very frustrating. Imaging u are dependent 9n a power chair for your daily life and this is how this unprofessional business treat you and gave u hardship for two months and didnt fix the issue and waste ur time.

I dont know what your mean promptly.Maby youre out of business or just plainly dont care about clients once youve delivered products! Ive tried and tried to reach, left voice mails to no avail. Finally I got the message that mailbox is full.Since Im not there only one, according to the revies, I guess you just dont care about clients.

Ditto to the person who wrote this is the worst company! They truly are- it doesn’t seem like there’s communication & it takes too damn long to get anything! We’re always waiting so so long - or they order the wrong parts -...Our children deal with situations that the rest of us will never have to deal with in our lives - these children struggle on a daily basis for what we take for granted and to have people take advantage of this situation just drives me crazy. It shouldn’t take months to get a F#%ing seat so that it can fit a child properly that uses it every day for school!!! It’s not like these people are building underground tunnels! Come on guys it’s just paperwork - approvals -,quotes ... how frickin long do you need??? You’re taking advantage of the vulnerable & I’m thinking about contacting legislators about it!

Sometimes it seems that there is no communication between the employees. We have submitted requests in writing several times, and each time NSM acts as if it is the first time they have seen the request. We have also had to re-submit paperwork because the paperwork was not acted on the first time. Some technicians are capable but without a good top-down system they are worthless.

Occasionally, many months delay in obtaining required equipment, repairs or replacements. Wrong equipment sometimes sent. Technicians not always capable. I have sent letters of complaint both to NSM and Kaiser Permanente (my HMO, which now requires members to obtain wheelchairs and similar durable medical equipment through NSM.) I sometimes give up and pay for repairs or parts myself at Wheelchairs of Berkeley, which is 100 times more efficient. There are good people and skilled technicians working at NSM, but I think it was a great mistake for Kaiser to have made them their sole supplier, and have told them so. Theres even a website where many Kaiser members describe their unhappy experiences with NSM.
