I only leave reviews when I have an extraordinary experience...this dealership definitely exceeded all expectations.As an out-of-state buyer, it was imperative I solidify numbers before making a road trip (close to 1,000 miles round-trip in this case). My salesperson, Saul, and the sales manager, Rodney, were very upfront and transparent. Although they couldnt budge on the vehicles price due to shortages in supply (nationwide), they made me a very fair offer on my trade.When I arrived to the dealership, Saul got the ball rolling on the paperwork then he and I took the truck out for a spin. I was in and out of the dealership with my truck quickly.Over the past 22 years, my wife and I have purchased probably around 35 new vehicles. This experience is hands down the best car buying experience I have ever had. I appreciate every employee that had a hand in my deal for making it a very pleasant experience!
Greg Sessoms is awesome! He found me a car with everything I wanted and made it happen within my price range. He is very friendly and great to talk to when experiencing the inevitably long wait from financing. We had 5 people in front of us for financing and waited until 9 PM, and Greg stayed with us the entire time, even though he did not have to. He brought us snacks and drinks to keep us comfortable while waiting. I can not reiterate enough his friendliness. I despise going to car dealerships because the sales representatives are always so aggressive and trying to force deals and cars on you that you do not want. BUT NOT Greg, he listened to me and what I wanted and found it, there was no attempt at convincing me to take some completely different car, there was no attempt to force me into the warranty that I asked to be removed, there was no belittling of me or subliminally trying to make me feel incompetent. A car sales is in the sales representative, and it was him and his personality that sold me on wanting to purchase my car through this dealership (despite having 2 other cars lined up). I drove 10 hours to look at a car that I found online and really liked, but could not stand the disrespect I received from the sales person, so I went to see Greg and loved him and the car he showed me and ended up purchasing a car here instead. If you go here I recommend you talk to Greg because he is the best, especially if you are shy like me and dont like feeling harassed and unheard. He even called me to see if my new car got me home safe after the 10 hour drive he knew I would be taking after camping in the area (because he cares and remembers you as an individual).
Never did business here before. I was in the market for a new commercial van for a growing business and Allen was great to work with. I did my research and the Ram Promaster was starting to grow on me. After test driving it and Allen showing me some things about it. I decided to buy it. He made the buying experience very pleasant and kept me up to date during the process I look forward to doing more business here. Allen is the man!

I’m new to the area of town and have a Dodge Grand Caravan so I booked an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Few days later my low tire pressure light came on. Concerned since I had just had it serviced I checked all my tires to find out they all were around 5 pounds low. It’s my understanding with oil change and or tire rotation you should be checking this. Makes my wonder how well the rest of the work was done, if you can’t check and inflate the tires during a rotation 😞

I received a notice about a recall on my Wrangler. I contacted the dealership and they quickly scheduled the appointment for the repair. The vehicle was left in their care and they had it ready before their original time estimate. Very professional and courteous, easy to do business. I had been buying my filters there and doing the oil changes myself, but given this experience I’d feel confident leaving my vehicle there again for service!

Experts that really care about their customers. Ive been there alot for services and I myself felt friction but I now realize that I should appreciate the experts and thank them for showing up in order to get their expertise. They are people as well as the customers who have feelings. I thank God that individuals who are like that, even under extreme pressure from lack of people who are able to work and dont that makes it harder for the ones who do care and do show up. Everyone is going through very hard and difficult times and we should appreciate everything that we do for each other. I feel that my situation is in the best of the best hands. I am blessed to have the team thats serviced my vehicle in every area. They are awesome!!!
My experiences with the service department are always good. My appointment is scheduled and my Jeep is taken in on time. They ask for approval of parts, replacements, additional work if necessary, etc. The work is done efficiently, to what we agreed upon and what was needed... And they always answer my questions (no matter how simple) :-)
I found that dealing with this dealership is very difficult. They act like they know what theyre doing and know what theyre saying they wont listen they have bad service and rude its amazing a how bad it is and it just doesnt get any better and they never fix anything theyll tell you all this what you need to do to fix it and then Ive already done this no you didnt you did it wrong okay lets do it again and still doing the same problem yet theyre still say theyre right its very bad service

Not great. Would not recommend. I bought a car from them and wish I had went elsewhere. I believe they have been dishonest, and deceptive with very little to no follow through on making things right. Ive had to call my salesperson and leave multiple messages just to eventually get a call back on anything. Im still waiting on the check I was promised from them for overcharging me on the payoff amount for the vehicle I traded into them that they only gave me $500 for ! So not only did I get ripped off on my trade in, Im also having to pay interest for many years to come on a payoff amount that was more than what I even owed on the vehicle. (I owed less than $500) Not only that, but they took so long to make the payoff that I had to make a payment on the vehicle that I no longer even had possession of so it didnt go against my credit due late payment. Which of course I havent been paid back for from them for it either! Not even an apology..If you decide to go here to purchase a vehicle beware of unsettling practices, less than stellar customer service and just an overall less than satisfying experience.
When I called about the apt the gentleman that I spoke with was very nice and prompt about getting me an apt scheduled ASAP. When I got the vehicle to the dealership they were nice about getting my information however while I had the car there I asked if there was anyway that my oil could be changed by them so I wouldn’t have to go to another place. I was told that they were double booked and that it was impossible. When I got the call back about my vehicle I was told by the person that the tech had to put a quart of oil in my car because an oil change was needed. It was frustrating to me that he was able to put oil in but could t do the oil change for me. I told them I was aware but was told they couldn’t do it for me. No one seemed concerned by this. Once I picked my car up I had to go to another location and have to oil changed. It would be nice if they would take sometime to do some customer service when they see that they cannot let my car leave. It took the guy at the other place a while 10 minutes to complete the oil change. Why it couldn’t be completed while the computer update was loading is beyond me.
I recently brought in a company work vehicle for maintenance and repairs. Thomas Drye was my advisor and his communication skills and knowledge really set this dealership apart as being the best in the area. I loved working with this gentleman. He was able to get the truck diagnosed and all the paperwork my company needed fast and efficiently. The mechanics did a wonderful job too and the truck as in top shape for a fair price.

These folks really helped me get out of a bind. They worked me in for a service on my Dodge Ram that I couldnt get at any other dealer. Thomas went way above and beyond to get the part in that was needed (over night express at no charge) and had the repair done within three hours. I was able to pull my camper to Myrtle Beach and have a family vacation with my grandchildren which would not have been possible if Autostar of Hendersonville hadnt stepped up and helped me out! Id give them 10 stars if I could!
Professional service for a transmission fluid and filter change. Got to talk to the technician about any concerns. There were none. Very happy camper.
Not my regular dealership but they were very accommodating and were able to squeeze me in for a quick oil change and tire rotation and got me over to a body shop to address my primary issue which was with my rear tailgate. Appreciate dealerships like this and not those that push . I was going to give Hunter Nissan a second try and found out they are still the same rude Salesman they always have been. Hung up on me when advised went with different dealer and car. Id recommend Autostar or Boyd Chevy to anyone looking.

His finance mgr....his name escapes me...was fantabulous to work with via phone, text and emails and kept an open line of communication every step of the way.For me, unfortunately I had to replace a Grand Caravan I totalled out as a result of a wreck.Shane, from our conversations is a FAMILY man first and foremost. Dealt with C-19 and the dealership management allowed him the time needed to get through that. Buyer beware. If you see a price online or even if they show you a vehicle for a said price. Theyll come back and tell you its a different price. Do your research and be informed before you go. They offered me this vehicle at price shown, and then came back and said it was almost 43k. Quite the difference. Not pleased with how I was treated. Trying to take advantage of a single mother.
These people have horrible sales tactics. Theyre very pushy and want a deal TODAY and absolutely will not wait... And theyre insulting. They are very unwilling to work with people. Unfortunately for them, theyve missed out on a $90k dollar sale. Another dealer was more then happy to work with us and we now have a deposit on a new 3500 Limited ram for 90k and waiting for it to come in. I think its crazy to miss out on such a big sale because yall refuse to wait for a couple weeks to make the deal. I will never do business with these people and anyone reading this shouldnt either. Maybe a different salesman would be better to work with so in that case if you do go here... Dont work with Jorge.
AutoStar makes it easy to get into your dream car/truck. James Salm helped me into a Brand new ram 2500 mega cab. Every one in the store was super friendly and helpful. Nothing was forced or felt stressful like most car buying experiences. 11/10 would recommend to anyone looking to buy new, trade in, or even refinance. And Ram speaks for itself🤷🏼♂️.

My complaint is primarily with incorrect information on the dealership website. I needed an oil change and tire rotation for my Wrangler, and the site advertises their Express Lane with No Appointment Needed for those services. Based on this, and the early closing time of the service department (5pm is earlier than every other major dealership in the area), I left work early only to be told that they couldnt do it, and the first available appointment for an oil change was 2 weeks out. When I pointed out the Express Lane advertisement, all I got was shoulder shrugs and sorry. The website needs to be updated at a minimum. However, needing to schedule an oil change out that far with a major dealership is something I have never run into previously, and speaks to how outdated this particular service department is.
Very nice and helpful. Dealer look over our Jeep compass and found an issue under warranty. Had the part ordered and everything else ready very fast. Could ask for better customer service.

I had a service request appear on my dashboard for the Auto Start/Stop feature. My appointment was only a few days out and it was a quick repair. They answered all of my questions and made sure I understood what they were doing.

Let me start with huge shout out to Shane Sawyer my salesman! Shane had a refreshing laid back attitude and did not try to pressure me in any way to purchase. Spending most of your day at a car lot is not a Saturday I enjoy but thanks to everyone at Autostar for making my experience as pleasant as possible! Give them a chance first if you are in the market for a new/used car.
My wife and I were looking to upgrade one of our cars. Found these guys online and they had a couple of cars we were potentially interested in at least test driving. I inquired about one online and one of the salesmen contacted me and setup an appointment. We arrived a few minutes early for the appointment and took a walk around the lot. Three different salesmen asked if we were working with someone, and we gave them the name of the salesman and sales manager. Two of the salesmen called and both times were told the salesman was coming to see us. After spending almost 30 minutes on the lot no one showed up to even honor the appointment we made. This dealership definitely lost a sale because later the same day we traded in our old car.
Shane was awesome! I love my 2017 Subaru Impreza Sport. I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t talk them down on the price. But I do understand that Covid has caused a decrease in new vehicles to be made, which has caused a spike in used car values.I’m still happy with my purchase and I would definitely buy from Auto ⭐️ Star again!

Worst experience EVER!!!!!!!!! Drove the car in for an oil leak. It was driving fine. Over $2000.00 dollars later we were told it required another $3600 of work. When my daughter, the owner, became very upset she was scolded and told they were finished talking to her because of the way she was acting. The car had to be towed because it is now in 4 wheel low and overheats, which it was not doing when it got there. WOMEN DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!! Rip-off artist or macho shade tree mechanics at best. Would rate - 1 if possible

Started off great...nice folks, attentive but fell short when they went way to low on the price of my trade in...felt disrespected it was so low!Update...to be fare they did contact us the next day explain and apologize that they had viewed (appraised) the wrong car and wanted to make a better deal!But, To late found one in Ashville.
Went in for a routine oil change, service advisors and quick lube tech were very professional and courteous. While I was there I inquired about extending my extended warranty, the gentleman I spoke with made me feel as if I were inconvenincing him.
Greg was our salesman and we are so glad! He is such a nice man and our baby just adored him. The whole team was very welcoming and friendly. Truly a great group of people. Getting a car can be a lengthy process but Greg was amazing and very attentive to our needs.

The man is more Genuine than anyone could ask for, And that alone goes a long ways when buying a Vehicle. Called to inquire about a truck that I 100% intended to buy that day. I was told by one of the salesman that I had to wait for the lady I spoke with to contact me since I had spoke with her 2 weeks prior. The salesman failed to mention that sales lady was off of work currently. So when the lady finally Text not called me a few days later I advised her I was working and would come the next morning to purchase. That same evening I received a text that a individual had driven the truck home and was purchasing the truck. So point is I now have not been able to purchase the vehicle due to a male salesman with a attitude that wouldnt let me come and purchase the vehicle at time of the initial inquiry because someone was off so now Im out of the vehicle. Then sells the truck out from under me knowing I was coming to purchase the next morning. I hope the owner reads this and contacts me. That is VERY BAD business and the customer was done wrong. When you work 24 hour shifts in the medical field they should understand and have held the truck until my arrival the next morning when I got off work. I feel the owner should contact me and assist with a great deal on another vehicle since I was done poorly TWICE within a few days on the same vehicle.

Before you go call and ask what the actual price of the vehicle is because the autostart price is not your price when you get down to paper work. They went all the way but to msrp and said online every rebate is tacked on to get your attention

Jorge Del Valle Espinosa is by far the best car salesman my husband and I have ever dealt with!My husband and I walked in there with low hopes trying to get into something 4 or all wheel drive. Jorge made it work for us. He never hid anything and he made sure we got the best deal we possibly could. He was super nice and open about everything. My husband and I have had our fare share of salesmen in our time and they’re always promising something they can’t get you. Bought a vehicle that had undisclosed damage to the rear of the vehicle. It was subtle so it took me weeks to discover it. They sold me a warranty that I didnt ask for which used up all of my down payment. So instead of paying off the vehicle in 3 years. Its now going to take me 5. Auto repair department wont troubleshoot and repair the correct problem. They will guess and make you spend enormous amounts of money for a repair you dont need. I recommend staying away from this dealership. Especially to my fellow veterans because that doesnt matter to them one way or the other.

Without a doubt the easiest truck buying experience Ive had. Hendersonville Dodge was able to beat Skyland Automotive on my 2016 RAM 2500 by over $1,800.00. Samuel Williams (sales person), and Tony Fowler (General Manager), worked hard to earn my business, and were enjoyable to work with. Saul was quick, professional and painless with the paperwork process even though we kept him at work 40 minutes after closing. I have already recommended Hendersonville Dodge to my friends and family, without hesitation.
