This bookshop has quickly become one of our familys favorite places in Hendersonville. All of us find treasures there (yes, they carry a selection of books for adults too), and if they dont have what you are looking for, you can order it through them and feel good to support a local bookstore. This is an inclusive space. The diversity of books, representation, and attention to detail are hard to beat. Everyone is welcome there, and all children can find books they can relate to. Lets all do our part to keep this shop in our community!

The absolute BEST bookstore as far as variety and representation. I have found books for my little loved ones ranging from newborn to teens, on topics ranging from the Indonesian Revolution to teen depression to celebrations of monumental life moments like the first time wearing a hijaab. Not only is there representation in the picture books, but from a wide range of authors as well. My little loved ones are learning so much about appreciating every kind of culture, skin color, belief system, etc., having fun doing it, and getting more books than they could ever ask for. An amazing resource for the community and a joy to visit every time!

Love love love this fabulous little bookshop! My 9 year-old is always impressed that her favorite series are in stock, and I love the layout and how easy it is to browse. The convenience of ordering from the shop or from the website just cant be beaten! The owner is so friendly and helpful, and I swear she knows every book in the store from cover to cover. Curious Capybara Bookshop is what one pictures when they think of a perfect hometown bookshop...small and cozy yet a variety of books, ranging from classics to modern topics, like you would expect from a big box retailer. Add in Fawn, the owner-in-residence, with her willingness to offer guidance + the real-life bunny mascot= perfection! I grabbed some discounted books that appeared to have been brought in for the sale ( I appreciate a 40% discount section!) and go tomorrow for my special-order book. Could I have done that at home, online? Probably. But the experience (Fawn finding a Sam book for me...the feeling of being surrounded by unique books and treats in a unique setting)..for the same price as online?! Oh, yeah...I know which one Im choosing!

I love this little bookshop! They have a great selection of kids books and always unique and interesting titles. My kids love to browse the shelves and I stopped in recently to get a gift card for their teacher and found out they offer a educator discount!

This is such a great addition to our neighborhood! The store is beautiful & and fully stocked. My daughters were in heaven checking out all the books catered to them. The owner was even kind enough to order some books my daughter wanted and stayed in constant communication with me until they arrived. Prices were great as well. We hope this store stays around for years to come!

Thrilled with the diverse selection of books in this cute little shop! Everything is so well-organized; my two kids immediately found areas of interest to them and happily thumbed through options before settling on their picks. The owner does a great job of making “if you like this, try that” suggestions when asked, too. So pleased to have a great local bookstore option!

Great little bookstore with a big selection! They even have some used. We bought several books on our last visit, and put in an order for Christmas. The owner was very friendly and helpful with ordering what they didnt carry (which isnt much, since the selection is large!).

This was a surprise. To have a CHILDRENS book store so close. Knowledgeable staff. Besides lots of books for any age they say they can order most anything. Support independent booksellers.

Love this little bookstore. Fawn is always great about helping me order books even if they arent in stock. The teacher discount is awesome also. If you havent had a chance to pop in, it is so worth it!
