I feel like Im here every week. Im constantly reading and buying new books. The staff is always friendly and have great recommendations. Their cafe is always good and I love the immense amount of selections they have and can order. I love my membership discount, its so useful. Also went 5min before close (didnt realize) and they let me in and run to get a book, when they didnt have to. They are dedicated and kind, give them a visit!

Barnes and Noble is my happy place. I love to read and can usually find what I want and if they dont have it then they can usually order it. I love the vast selection of books on all of my favorite topics, my son and mom can also find something that they love as well. Even though they no longer carry my manga I still love this place.

Love going here with my kids and seeing the deals and getting new books.

A beautiful store. I have a bad back, and hard for me to stand for extended periods. That can make for a difficult time shopping for a book unless, of course, you know exactly what you want.I explained my problem to one of the sales ladies, and she said no problem....I will search for you. Just give me an idea of what you are looking for. . She did exactly that.....no rush, no pressure, just brought me books that might be of interest. I walked out with three books, by three of my favorite Si-fi authors.This may be hard to believe, but I had never had a Starbucks coffee. Well, inside Barnes and Noble there was a Starbucks. It not only had coffee, but it also had a very nice selection of sweet rolls, pie, and even a couple of sandwiches. I got my first wonderful cup of coffee, and even a sandwich. Both were very good.Barnes and Noble is a place I would go again .....and probably get another cup of coffee was well. A very nice, comfortable, and super helpful. Books are NOT inxpensive, but I think all the prices were reasonable.......and the service was was beyond reproach.

Still enjoy a going to a bookstore. Its always tidy and easy to find great deals.

As one of the last remaining bookstores around we make an effort to visit, and purchase, any time we are near. I get to spend most of my time in the large kids section and toys (7 & 2 y/o). It is always clean and orderly and staff is always kind and helpful. I’ve heard the chocolate cheesecake at the cafe is fantastic but haven’t tried it myself yet.

This is an exceptional example of the franchise. The store is always very clean, well-maintained with pleasant happy staff. Im never at a loss to get help when I need it. They have a great selection, and are always happy to order what you want. The cafe is next level: very clean and friendly folks behind the counter. Theyve even got a girl with pink hair! she can make you a pink lady drink and everything lol. Definitely worth the stop.

Bookstores are a dying thing but our B&N in the Streets seems to be going strong and thank goodness. It is an excellent resource for our community and for all us book lovers. Yes you can order online but there is nothing like walking into this bookstore and admiring all the volumes on display. We are members and have been for 20 years so the prices are pretty much the same as those online and you dont have to wait! You can pick up that book today and read it now or you can pull one off the shelf at B&N and sit down and try it out - you can also enjoy a Starbucks beverage while you sample all the books you want. We love it and hop everyone else does as well - we truly need to support our bookstore!

I love that there is still a bookstore around and they have plenty of books, toys, games, and magazines to look through. I could easily spend hours here. Its clean and the staff is friendly.

I actually stopped because I was waiting for my wife to have her hair done but I was not disappointed. They had a very good selection of books and board games. The atmosphere was wonderful especially when it is pouring rain and cold outside they have a nice coffee shop that an extremely nice lady that helped me. I wasnt expecting to be book and boardgame shopping but I am really glad I went in. I will definitely return in the near future.

Really just browsing around in the store, but I enjoyed the environment. The store was clean and everything was well placed throughout the building. Staff was nearby and readily available to help, but not hovering over the customers to an uncomfortable extent. If you want a very relaxed setting to shop for books, Id definitely recommend giving this store a visit!

Love it. Glad to see it was busy. Very clean and organized, polite service. Didnt have EVERYTHING I wanted, but it was a good selection. Also if you join their membership ($25/ year) they offer a discount and free delivery. I will be getting my books here from now on, either in person or delivered.

I bought several vinyls from this location but last time I got a record that was a limited press and the vinyl has SEVERAL skips and even edge damage. I came back an HOUR later just to get HARRASSED about ordering a new one when clearly the limited edition vinyl was pressed terribly. This location has lost my interest for the ridiculous interactions involving this incident. Vinyl policies here are NO GOOD

Barnes and Noble is always a pleasant experience. This one did not disappoint. The staff was helpful and they had a such a good selection of everything especially board games which I came in specifically looking for. Its a good location and easy to get to. Make sure you stop by if you want a nice book shopping experience.

Great service and place was nicely organized. I just wish they had more of a Manga selection to choose from as that’s what I like to purchase.

Of the book stores in my are, Barns and Noble is by far my favorite! Staff is helpful and friendly. Free Wi-fi for when I need a place to hide to work on websites or my YouTube channel Power Addicts. The YouTube channel is about Jeeps, cars, trucks and motorcycles. Ill get me a drink from the coffee shop sit down and get lots of work done. They also have a great selection of books. They send coupons that make for great money savings in store or online. Its my hide-a-way.

What can I say, always fun to go there

I love this barnes and nobles so much. i always go to hang out and relax and it definitely helps every time. theres a huge variety of books and as well as manga, which is what i mainly get.

If you close at 8, that means 8. Not 7:45-7:50. And a manager standing at the door saying “yes, we closed at 8.” Well it’s not 8. It’s not like a restaurant where we are dining an extra hour. Sad.

Great selection of books. Friendly and helpful staff. They got free WI-FI so I often go to the Cafe inside to work. Get a drink and work undisturbed and no distractions.

It was good. Ive missed being around books you could hold and read. I was sad that the only place to sit was the coffee shop, but I get it with Covid.

It did not disappoint as one of the last large book stores that is not on line. It was clean. The people were nice and helpful. The selection was great as they had grafic novels, dnd games and books, a nice kids section, and music. The Starbucks inside was also great. No complaints.

Yesterday while at work, I purchased 3 books online and wanted to use the Curb Side Pickup feature (for deeply personal reasons).I didn’t see the option so I chose (in store pick) and then called and asked for assistance. Even though my request was inconvenient, she came through, and I deeply appreciate the service. You never know what someone may be going through, and with the emotional climate around the world, I respect how quickly the employees came through for me. Let’s all continue to be kind & empathetic to one another.

Well-stocked bookstore with music, videos, magazines, gifts, and a coffee shop that serves Starbucks coffee. Always organized. Usually a good selection of bargain books at the front of the store, lots of classics, fiction and non-fiction covering all topics. Lots of convenient free parking. Decent amount of work and study space in the coffee shop too.

This book store is horrible. They dont carry the books you want to buy. Their employees act like Communists. And they decreased the amount of books that sell. Finally they promote magic and witchcraft over and other genre.

As always, this place is great. I order all of my books, DVDs and music from here! And I was assisted today by a very sweet and beautiful woman named Nicole L. Her nature was very pleasant and she was extremely kind and sweet! I was going to go back in to see if she wanted to have lunch but the store had already closed at 6 p.m due to the coronavirus....

Fewer people read these days, so this place pulls out all the stops to make it appealing. Lots of great gift items, beyond the printed page. Cozy Cafe that carries the best red velvet cupcakes anywhere!

I love this bookstore because there is something for everyone. They have not only books, but also music, games and gifts. There is also a coffee shop. If you shop there often, their club might be worth your while; its $25 annually and gets you 10% off your purchases.

Wonderful! This time they had somebody that actually helped me with my Nook in a short amount of time. She understood me when I told her I am perfectly happy with my present Nook and do not need not want an upgrade. I was able to shop and buy books I found easily to my Nook. Very happy this time.

Always great to visit one of my favorite franchises. This place had a large but not too consuming selection and plenty of vinyl records, which is my favorite as I collect them. Not a whole lot of seating, but overall it was a great store to visit.

In this modern day world of Amazon, where almost any book you could want is available online, it is still a simple pleasure to walk in to a physical store and get to experience finding a book to read. The weight of the book in your hands, the smell of the paper, the texture on the hard backing... This is one thing Amazon has not been able to recreate from the comfort of your computer chair.

I’ve always enjoyed my visits at Barnes & Noble... until tonight. I understand we walked in 40 minutes before closing but you should NEVER give customers especially PAYING customers such a rude presentation. While I was checking out, Ricco was very kind and even suggested other types of game we should try. Meanwhile Mrs. Tina was very rude. Tina proceeded to shout “Ladies, it’s time go. We’re closed.” Even though there were other customers still in the store. Then she proceeded to hold the door open and repeat “we’re closed ladies” even though it was 8:55. If you’re having a bad day, don’t take it out on customers!!

I always enjoy this store..they have chairs you can use to take a break and also a Starbucks if you need a refreshment. They have a good magazine selection and a large variety of books, planners and journals. The staff can usually hello you find a book if it is in their inventory 🙂

I’m a teenager and me and one of my friends we’re in there. We walk in and go to the back we’re the kids section is. I was gonna see if i could find a children’s book for my little brother. A worker follows us to the back and tells us to either leave or go to the café. Keep in mind we were making no disruption at all. The lady simply judged us and tried to get us to leave. Moral of the story is to all Barnes and Nobles employees at the hendersonville location... don’t judge a person by there age or anything. You don’t know what we’re in that store for. I could’ve been hiding from a viscous person. Please work with your employees.

Barnes & Noble needs to reevaluate thier pricing. When I can get the same book on amazon for $10 cheaper its hard to justify buying it here. But I do love to walk around.

Went in about an order I placed that I havent got. 2 employees tired to help couldnt figure out what happen. They called the manager over he was confused about it to. But with all of the confusion they all were all very nice and helpful.

I love coffee and people. Infused ice tea with previewing some magazines and or books makes for a nice afternoon on a hot day. Or if you were shopping and need a nice place to rest I find this location perfectly situated next to nice shopping.

This is a great place for books games Marvel comics and toys as well as movies incredible selection of vinyl new and old. Great selection of books for musicians artists and many other topics pretty much anything you can think of. The club memberships they offer give you great discounts and free coffee once a month. They also have a great selection of games. They Will also Reserve or special order you copy of anything you dont find

At Christmas they did a book drive for the local schools and it was such a great way to help the community! I loved it!

Updating my review not to change it, but to just relay a bad experience here from my original experience. There is a young man, longish hair, working as a barista that is incredibly rude and probably needs to find a non-retail/service position. Be warned if you have to deal with him, Id probably skip the coffee just to skip the annoyance.My favorite place! I love their selection, everyone is always helpful and kind, and the cafe is delicious! Happily recommend for any book you may need.

This is one of my favorite places to get my books and magazines because it organized well. However, they do seem a little under staffed at times because the registers at the front of the store are not always open. Which means that check out is in the music/DVD department or customer service area in the center of the store.

My kids and I love going here to read, and buy more books. So many different things to see, do and activities for children also. Highly recommend

Extremely poor planning and execution of a St. Patricks Day promotional event for children. Slapping a dozen stickers on a table with a few copies of a book and one copy of a word puzzle doesnt make an event interesting. I strongly urge the managers not to promote events like this online without thinking through how to make them worthwhile. Our 7-year-old could not have been more underwhelmed. I would never attend another event here. The only good thing was that she got a free cookie from the cafe, which was delicious.

I love Barnes and Noble. Its got great birthday and Christmas gifts, a Starbucks, a great kids section, truly unique items, art supplies, and Ive never had an issue. A bit expensive, but always pleasant.

I didnt know this Barnes and Nobles was here. The selection was fantastic and the prices reasonable. There is still something about real books and a real bookstore that I live.

Easy access, nice place

Barnes and Noble will always be one of my favorite places to visit. They have a large selection of books and it could get a little confusing on where to look for a specific book or section. The staff can be hard to track down sometimes, especially when it comes to checking out. Overall, the staff is friendly just not as attentive, considering this happens every other visit.

Great selection and they have great deals all the time. I do miss the catalog computers. Really need them back, the employees are very hard to find, or get them to help you...without having to wait for them to get off the phone or aimless walking around.
