Our son was home from college and his transmission went out. Pete and his crew went out of their way to locate another one and had it finished in 2 days. Thats better than treated like family. Very fair price, and friendly, honest service.This place is Top Shelf AAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++++

I stopped in to have them hook up a reader to see why my check engine light was on. After a short discussion with the mechanic about the issues Ive been having, they pulled my vehicle into a bay and fixed a problem (one that sounded pretty serious and dangerous) that the last place i took it to, not only didnt fix, but didnt tell me anything about. They met and exceeded my expectations. I am completely satisfied with the service they provided and the price. I highly recommend Pete and his crew 👍😁

Did a very thorough job on our 1996 Jeep Cherokee even though it was a Japanese model with the steering wheel on the right hand side they had no problem fixing it and a few other things that they noticed to help us stay safe.

They have restored my faith in auto mechanic shops. They did not hesitate to file a warrenty claim on the second transmission they installed, and took care of the labor cost for the work. I was amazed at the speed and quality of service they provided. After all of that, I still had a small shifting issue that was unrelated to the new transmission. Knowing the stress that my vehicle had caused me, they gave me a free diagnostic check. Then offered to purchase a new speed control censor and install it at no cost to me. I know they cannot offer the same deal to every customer. However, they knew that my vehicle had been an ongoing, and STRESSFUL, problem of mine for the past year. These guys were awesome. Didnt try to use cheapest parts they could use and didnt do any extra work with out calling first and talking about it. I would go back again if necessary.

These guys are awesome I was traveling through Oregon when my transmission started leaking and overheated . They were busy but since I was in a hurry and from a different state they started working on it right away . This was about 2 years ago and the transmission has been flawless ever since . If you need transmission work don’t hesitate to go to these guys !!

Needs to improve customer service skills. Quote was 25% higher than the Chevrolet dealership down the road. Service availability is oh, a month out. 2 stars because they at least answered the phone.

Im from out of town and stopped in Hermiston when the transmission on my 2007 RAM 2500 began running hot whether it was towing a camper or not. The Dodge shop recommended that I talk to Pete (owner) at Hermiston Transmission. Pete and the techs working on my transmission took me onto the shop floor and showed me how worn-out the transmission was after over 200k miles. They did part of the rebuild and update that day and got me back on the road. A couple weeks later I returned to have them finish the job. The price was fair and experience with Pete and his techs was professional, informative and enjoyable.I knew I made the right choice when talking with a local longtime resident couple who said, you made a good choice. Pete knows what hes doing and hes fair.

I had a wonderful experience at Hermiston transmission I borught my truck in for a transmission to be rebuilt and to be upgraded, the staff was very nice and were very welcoming, quick and easy 3 days and my truck was back. p.s the shop dog is alittle feisty :)

July 2nd I had started my road trip to North Dakota with my family, pulling a travel trailer. I got just passed Boardman when the trans on my 2000 Super Duty went out. Had my truck towed to Hermiston Trans Service that morning, and like most businesses in town he was closed through the 4th. No worries, I was taking time off as well. Wednesday morning July 5th, I went in to talk to Pete. He asked some relevant questions, then was honest enough to tell me he was swamped and likely wouldnt be able to look at it before the weekend. Heres the thing that impressed me: He picked up the phone and called his competition just down the road and told him my situation. The other shop was able to squeeze me in so Pete arranged for my truck to be towed there. I think this was a pretty stand up move, as he could have just as easily let me figure stuff out on my own. It showed me tht Pete truly cares about customers, and Im quite confident that he and his techs would have done a fine rebuild on my truck, and treated me fairly doing so.Vince
