Literally the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Missy H and the entire team at Shenango Honda were absolutely amazing! This was my first Honda but definitely not my last. The entire staff was very warm and friendly and made me feel like we had been friends for years. I enjoyed my experience so much that I will be joining their team because I love treating people the way they treated me from the second I walked thru their doors! Who wouldn’t want a job like that?!?
I wasn’t really in the market for a car, but I saw the Civic Si on the lot and stopped by to look at it on a Sunday. I immediately did an inquiry online and asked that Missy Heim contact me about test driving the car. I bought my Honda Accord from her previously and promised I’d give her my business going forward. My visit to Shenango Honda was one of great regards! Seeing as this was my first experience purchasing from a dealership, my sales associates, Rob Slepski and Bob Spencer, were friendly, kind, attentive to my requirements and requests and thorough in explaining my options. Although I was in search of a Honda, I purchased a 2016 Ford Escape after discussing what was available in regard to my preferences and needs out of my vehicle. My post-purchase experiences have been nothing short of helpful and they are punctual in returning calls/emails to answer any questions Ive had. I am thankful that they made my experience graceful and one of great standards, I intend to return for my dream Honda in the future!
I drive 48 miles from butler for their 29.95 full synthetic oil change and service for my Hondas. Their service is great, Rachael is outstanding. They call you the next day to see if everything was satisfactory, WHAT A CONCEPT!

3 years ago I bought my first brand new car with the help of Missy Heim - no question about it that fast forward 3 years later I went back to her to get another new car! What an amazing experience at Shenango Honda! Cliff was extremely personable and helpful. Not many places will entertain your 4 year old by making paper airplanes as you sign all your paperwork. A great group of employees who went above and beyond in the customer service department. I highly recommend purchasing from this dealership!
My boyfriend emailed early on today from the website to assure the car he is interested in was still there before we drove 2 hrs to see it. Since we never got a response, he called to ask the same question. He was told he would get a call back and never did. Hours later, he called again and spoke to someone else to ask the same question. Once again, they said they would call back and never did (again its been hours). Out of curiosity, I had my mom call to ask about the same car and they instantly told her yes its available (she talked to the same person he spoke with the second time). Disappointing and wont be doing business with them.
Very thorough, and only replace things when they need done, they do try to save you money.

I had talked to a salesman here about a lease for my wife. I ended up having to work all week and sent her in by herself telling her not to sign anything unless it was $250 a month or less. He started at $340! Went down to like 300 before she walked. I made one more phone call to a different dealership who said they could do $249 a month the next day, and had the car on the lot. Same trade-in, same money down we drove home the next day in it. Yeah, dont go here unless youre feeling charitable or have too much money. And DEFINITELY dont send your wife or kids!Shenango Honda: in response to your response the salesman she talked to said that anyone who could beat your price would be giving that car away. That was obviously a deceptive statement being that we saved nearly $2,000 to the next dealership we called. And they couldnt wait to make the deal. Im fine with you giving us your best price however far off it may be from the next guy, but dont BS my wife trying to sell a car, and dont apologize to us, apologize to your customers who youve actually taken advantage of.

Our salesman was very friendly UNTIL we told him our budget. Which was $3000 down payment on mid-age SUV or car that wasnt too expensive. After he knew we couldnt afford to spend 20-30k on a new car he barely wanted to give us the time of day. Also had a trade in that went for $1500-$2000 on KBB and they only wanted to offer $400 on it just so they can throw it on their lot and charge $7000 for it. Dont spend your money here. Go to Montrose or Taylor instead.
I really enjoy this dealership, my experience with them purchasing 2 cars and servicing 3 has been a positive one. However, I constantly feel like everything takes so much longer than they ever quote you.On numerous occasions, I have been quoted a reasonable time for a service, only to find that another 30, 45, or even several hours are added on to that time with no unforeseen issues or clarifications. I truly want to appreciate this store because of my connections to the staff. However, they are challenging my patience when they are not able to simply quote an appropriate amount of time. #tldr quote a longer time, and Ill be pleased to know you finished sooner than expected.

Need to make the mail out discount more clearer.Brought in my car, when called to find out what total was explained to them that I had a $29.95 coupon for oil change they stated that altogether it would be $31.75That would leave me pulling from my card $3.00 to cover cost.No that was not price after it was done. They said with the coupon which was only discount total due was $31.75Very miss leading and the mail out coupon needs to be clearer to the costumers that get the in the mail. And service department needs to be clearer on the phone as well.
I cant speak on buying a new car, but I cant recommend Shenango Honda for their used cars. We purchased a used car from Shenango Honda two years ago (October 2018). The car was inspected by their service techs and I was told that they did a however many point inspection on it. After purchasing the vehicle, we have maintained the vehicle very well including having the underneath treated with Fluid Film. Two years later, that car will no longer pass inspection because the underneath is rotted out. This leads me to believe that the frame had to be rusting out around the time of the purchase. Maybe not bad enough to be unsafe at the time, but it had to be starting for it to get bad as it is now, especially being undercoated after we got it. So now were stuck with a loan for a vehicle that will no longer pass inspection. They also sold me the 3 year warranty which did absolutely nothing in this case. The only option they had was to sell me another car. To be fair, the young lady I talked to was very sympathetic and tried her best to help me out, but upper management did nothing to help with the situation. So, because of that, I cannot recommend Shenango Honda for a used vehicle, as it appears the the service techs ability to inspect a vehicle is questionable at best. Ive had better luck at mom and pop shops. I wouldve assumed for a large dealership, a little more couldve been done, but apparently I was wrong.

Excellent service. Stopped to have bad battery tested. Bought a battery but the old one was too dead to drive home. I began changing old one out and service manager helped me finish. I was intending to take it home, but old battery was truly shot. Great Job Matt!
Great experience from the service department as well as sales. Towards the end of 2019, i was in touch with Cliff in sales to try and find a new Honda civic. He was very polite and quick to respond with my questions about purchasing a new Honda civic. He was not pushy nor did he bombard me with 4,000 calls and emails trying to get me to come in. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle.I also have a great experience with the service team. I was looking for a set of new tires and spoke with Matt. Nothing but politeness and professionalism. He was able to speak to me about tires that he has seen customers have and which ones were good and bad. He did not try to sell me on something expensive but steered me into the right direction on what would be good for the car I needed it for and how the car was going to be driven.In closing my review, I have nothing but great respect for this dealership from sales to service. Also, when dealing with service as i walked through the dealership, the showroom / salesroom / service area was exceptionally clean and I also noticed hand sanitizer on each desk, so anyone who is worried about covid-19, rest assure Shenango Honda is doing their part staying on top of things while focusing to social distance and staying sanitary.

Show up for a scheduled 5 pm appointment at 4:30pm, trying to be punctual. I am still sitting in the waiting area at 6 pm. The finance man took back a walk in at 5:01 pm. So much for having a GD appointment and time. [Disgusting amount of negative adjectives here]. I get you have a cattle system, make as much money as possible. But at least honor your times or have the courtesy to come tell me I can go waste an hour and a half of my life somewhere else. This is not the first time either.
The service was done quickly and they washed my vehicle and put tire dressing on my tires.

Sales was great, however I bought a certified pre owned 2017 Civic model. CERTIFIED PREOWNED, but with in a 2 week period of having the vehicle my battery died, the dealer was nice to pay for that being I only had the vehicle so little time and upon replacing the battery the dealer I took the vehicle to discovered I had a valve cover leak and a ac gasket leaking. On a CERTIFIED PREOWNED vehicle I bought and had less than a month. Sorry but service needs to step that up. If a vehicle is stickered with a certified pre-owned then there should not be issues like this. The certified pre-owned is supposed to be held to a higher standard. I think I should of received an extra 10k mile warranty for free since Ive had to deal with this mess, not something a customer should have to deal with in purchasing a certified pre-owned. Everyone has been nice, I appreciate that, but this dealer is not right in my back yard either. Not the easiest thing to deal with when its not your next store neighbors.

I had a situation over Thanksgiving where my car had broken down, never to be driven again. After researching online, I found a Black Honda Accord Coupe that was super reasonably priced. I emailed the dealership through the easily used website. Brad Paulson reached out to me within hours of my email, when the dealership wasnt even open! I felt comforted that he expressed concern over the recent loss of my beloved Dodge Caliber and was willing to do everything he could to help my out. He called me first thing in the morning to set up an appointment. When I arrived at Shenango Honda the car was right out front, fresh from the wash, shiny and new. I knew when I pulled in that was the car I wanted to buy. It was literally a hassle-free experience. The flow of the sale was great, with the manager Mike helping us out as well, but it was never pushy. The sales team were fun and accommodating and did everything they could to get me the best financing possible. On Wednesday night I didnt have a car, and by Saturday at noon I was driving away in my 2012 Honda Accord, relieved of all the stress. I would definitely recommend this dealer!

Not a good visit. Disappointed! Had my 2008 accord in for a headlight out fix. They changed the bulb, still didnt work. Told me I would hav to bring it back another time. So i guess Im to drive it with one light out. But they changed my oil, even tho it only had 600 miles since i had changed it. Also didnt appreciate being called BUD. My name is Dan. The airbag in my Honda Fit was recalled, and this was the nearest Honda dealership, so I made an appointment to have the airbag replaced. When I spoke to someone on the phone, I was assured that this repair would take an hour at most, and I chose an appointment time based on that assurance. When I arrived, I was told again that the whole thing would take less than an hour. At first, I was pleasantly surprised. There was a redhead behind the counter who was very nice, not only to me, but to all of the customers, and there was a decent waiting room with a television, coffee, and donuts. I thought I had found a good place to bring my car on a regular basis. This feeling didnt last. After an hour and a half of waiting, another service person came in (with no apology) to let me know that my car would be done soon. Then, he tried to sell me on another several hundred dollars worth of work that I did not need. I politely refused. I was late to my next appointment as it was, and I can change my air filter myself. He told me that he would be back momentarily with my paperwork and my keys. After waiting another fifteen minutes (or an hour and 45 minutes total), I was agitated and walked out of the waiting room to find someone only to see the same man talking and laughing in a group with the other service people, clearly in no hurry to get back to me. When he saw me, he approached with my paperwork and keys, and I finally got out of there. There are not enough donuts in the world to make me go back to this place.

[UPDATE] 2/11/20 I have to applaud Mike and staff for how they handled my complaints. They were nothing but understanding and sympathetic and worked tirelessly to fit into my schedule. As it stands my lug studs were rusty and did need replacing, however we determined that there was a ton of miscommunication throughout the process. I am genuinely satisfied with their service and our agreement. Matt even came to pick my car up and drop it back off while I was at work. I must say I recommend Shenango Honda and they’ve certainly earned back my business. Thank you.Today I had scheduled a routine oil change. As I setup the appointment the service advisor suggests that I’m due for some transmission fluid as well. She estimates $130. A bit steep but why not get it done? I’ve been coming here for nearly 4 years. Surely they’d value me as a customer, or so I thought. Within an hour after dropping off my vehicle I receive a call. They tell me that they’d broken a lug stud off of my wheel due to rust and corrosion. Not aware of any other options or how far I could drive my vehicle with a busted lug stud, I allow them to continue their work. She warns me that they may have to break every stud to release the wheel. Convenient. I’m then given an estimate as a worst case scenario that it’ll cost me an additional $200 on top of my oil change and transmission. I couldn’t believe it. I later go in to pick up my car and ask to see the detailed bill. As she’s vaguely explaining costs, I ask a few simple questions. They’ve changed my oil and rotated my tires every 3-4 months for the past 4 years, how did my studs go from A-ok to so rusted they can’t be removed in just a short time? Her answer: “There is no way to check and see how rusted they are even when performing the tire rotation.” To perform a tire rotation, you literally take the wheel off of the car. How can’t we see if that stud or lug nut is too rusted, corroded or perhaps showing signs of wear and tear? I then explained how I’ve been coming here for about 4 years and she tells me, “Well actually, you’ve only been here twice.” This is wrong. This car was leased for 3 years in my mother’s name yet I made payments. When the lease resolved I purchased the vehicle in my name. The car has only been there twice, since Summer 2019 when I purchased the vehicle outright. When I tried to explain this she was so matter of fact that I decided to leave it. Again, I beg to understand how this could happen. How the “Home of the $29.95 oil change” has me leaving with a $380+ bill. How could this corrosion happen in such a short time? “Rain, Snow, Salt can add wear and tear to your vehicle’s wheels.” I agree, however how this much damage could happen in a 3 month period, during a rather mild winter season (it was 58 degrees today on Feb. 3rd) doesn’t seem to be feasible. As I plead my case regarding how all I wanted was a $30 oil change, she points out that she took $35 off of my bill in good faith. She continues with how they don’t take these coupons off for just anyone. The $35 off is just a coupon offered on their website that anyone could print out at anytime. While I appreciate the gesture to an extent, she made it seem as if she was sticking her neck for some goodwill. After this all inclusive coupon was added to the transaction, the taxes on the bill alone were $20. A paper towel and some tape for a breach in the dam. I remained calm and paid my bill, wished her a good day and left. As I’m walking to my car I receive another phone call suggesting I purchase some hubcaps as I’m missing 2 of them on the left side. It is also suggested that the hubcaps would help protect the studs from some level of damage. The hubcaps are plastic and do not directly cover the studs. There is ample room between wheel and cap where the snow, rain and salt could reach. How the lack of hubcaps could destroy the studs on one wheel, but not the other, in 3-4 months of a mild winter is beyond me.

Advertised the used vehicle in the paper at One price, then told me it should have been higher in the paper. The vehicle wasnt ready for sale. I was not able to test drive on the road. Not sure all the features were working properly. I was then told that the price they were offering me was a today only. Rather pushy for a vehicle not ready for sale.

Terrible dealership! Falsely advertised a vehicle as Honda Certified, had me run my credit and get approved at a low rate and then contacted me to tell me it was not certified and my interest rate would be higher because it was not certified.
This was once a good place to shop. But there was a turn over in management and service departments that really changed their customer service, both in buying and service. My wife and I purchased two Hondas from this dealership years ago before the change and we were satisfied with everything. After learning of the changes we shopped elsewhere. My daughter purchased a new Honda last year and every time something happens it takes multiple trips to get it fixed or they tell her they cant find whats causing it.
Tried to buy a car last year. Salesman showed me the car I wanted and gave me paper work on another. My wife was unhappy when she went to drive the car I drove and discovered that the paper work was for another car. I purchased what we wanted at another dealer. Today I had our car inspected here and was impressed that they did not try to sell me anything. Just a simple inspection, nothing else. They charged no more than anyone else and even washed it.

We also just bought a nissan Altima for my husband who had cancer and needs it to travel. They went out of their way to get a better interest rate than the one we came in with. Thanks for everything.
After a two-year car search, we thought wed found our dream car at another local dealer, only to be horribly disappointed.Then we stumbled on Shenango right before heading home.The sales team was incredibly helpful without being pushy and gave us plenty of time and space to make a decision. They even gave us a hand with the kids while we were signing the papers!We got a great price and we were really happy with the buying experience.They may be an hour-and-a-half from Pittsburgh, but well worth the drive!

Buying a car was never easier. I started 3 weeks ago looking for a specific car at an affordable price. Salesmen were patient and never pressured me to buy. I took my time and eventually found exactly what I was looking for, (actually was better than I had hoped for)ridiculously low mileage preowned Cr V at a price less than any similar car and mileage in our area. Salesman Mike Moroco was very knowledgeable about the car and manager Mike Schuller and the rest of the staff at Shenango Honda were very friendly, helpful and accommodating . And as if that wasn’t enough I got much more than I anticipated on my trade in as well. My experiences buying cars has usually left me feeling like I’ve been burned or taken advantage of but not this time. Drove away with a smile on my face for a change

.I was interested in a used silver 2015 Honda Accord LX they had at their dealership for sale. After seeing it on Autotrader, I sent an email with my contact information stating I was interested in the car. After about 3 or 4 times trying to contact them via email, I left 2 voicemails with the sales manager after trying to call twice. No return emails or return phone calls. This is a terrible way to run a business if somebody is trying to purchase a car. Ill go somewhere else for my Honda purchase.
After purchase they really do not care about you in regards to the contract you signed if you added on an additional item, for example scratch and dent repair policy. The are very diligent on getting you in for service however. I called twice in as many weeks in regards to the policy and they do not return calls, they do not know who to contact within the dealership to deal with the question either. In other words, they are selling you something and have no support for it.
If you’re going to Shenango Honda, ask for Terry Muha! Most professional, polite and informative experience I’ve EVER had at a dealership ! I couldn’t be happier with my purchase or say enough positive things about Terry!

Very unhappy with the after purchase customer service!! We are from Ohio and found what we were looking for through Shenango Honda. After the purchase we needed a front license plate to be legal in our state, and we were promised every time I called (3 times) that it was either in the mail or they just got it in and it would be sent to us right away. We purchased Nov 2 & it is now Dec 10th & still no license plate holder for the front or our truck. This is something that should have been put on the day we purchased it. As a general rule i try to avoid getting repairs from dealerships because they are overpriced, in this situation i was stuck with an issue that seemed could only get fixed here. The work on my vehicle was very pricey but i really couldnt get over the attitude from Sahar in their service department. Even though i will most likely get another Honda, I wont be coming back here for anything.

We purchased a new higher end vehicle from Shango Honda this fall. Since it was one of the first 2016 models off the factory line it had a bug in the electronic system. Joe Z, the manager, and Cliff, our salesman, went above and beyond to help correct the problem. I cannot say enough how appreciative we are. Their business practices are simply refreshing. The honesty, integrity, and genuine concern for the customer that they displayed will keep us coming back for many years and we will be traveling 40+ miles to do so. We tell everyone we know that, if youre looking for a car, Shenango Honda is the place to go.

Some really great, kind salesman there. However, the finance guy is a complete condescending jerk who uses scare tactics and bashing to try to get you to purchase a warranty. I feel terrible for the salesmen having to send their customers to this guy. He bashed Hondas electronics to try to get us to buy a warranty, talked down to us and literally at one point said I know you think you know what you are talking about but you dont. Easily the worst purchasing experience of my life dealing with him.
This place is the worst, I spoke to salesman Jason the day before and he told me that he would call me if the car I was driving over an hour to come see was sold. I even called in the morning on my way up and left a message. When I arrived the car had been sold and Jason and managers were in a meeting. My phone number was left with the manager who never called me. This type of business practice is so deceptive. I see that even today, the car I was interested still shows on their website.
Was looking at a car and Mike Morocco and Karen were the associates I dealt with. I ended up not purchasing the car, nonetheless, my experience was fantastic and the staff were genuine. Recommended

I went out to buy a car and worked out the price for the car. By the time we made it back to the fiance office. The price that I agreed to had been changed a 7k difference. When my sales rep came back in the office. Then there was this big back in forth about what was said and what was written down on the sales slip. It was a big trust issue that what is said and agreed on wasnt honored.

What a joke! I buy new every year elsewhere and save $ thousands. This place is guaranteed to be your worst deal. Terry the salesman, gave me an inflated quote, full msrp and a trade @ $2500 under kbb value on a 1 1/2 year old vehicle. I showed him kbb fair purchase price on a new crv and he suggested I buy from them (kbb). He refused to negotiate. I dont think he could sell water in a desert!! The used car manager giving the quotes is a pompous idiot that wouldnt know a good deal if it bit him on the ass. This place wont even return a phone call. I saved $6340 by making a 10 minute phone call elsewhere! I would highly suggest you look an hour north, south or west if you want an honest deal.

Worst customer service ever. After calling in to inform them I wanted to cancel a test drive I had scheduled due to finding a crv I was going to buy elsewhere they begged me to drive out of my way to visit them still. I told them the offer I currently had and they said Id be happier with what they could offer me (strong implication they would give me a better deal). After telling Missy what my perimeters were and they price I needed she assured me Id be happy with what they could offer me. After driving an hour out of the way and again explain to them exactly how much I would spend she had to talk to Mike the manager. Once she explained my offer price he said very loudly to tell me GOODBYE THANK YOU in the most dramatic way possibly and even walked by me just saying thanks. I felt completley disrespected and there were no negotiations at all. After leaving and explaining to missy over the phone at how outraged I was at how the manager would treat a customer I informed her how unprofessional his behavior was and that I would never return. A few minutes later Mike called me to say he was sorry that I misinterpreted him and he wasnt sure why I was unhappy with him.

Horrible customer service. We intended to release a CR-V from them and after requesting a quote and never hearing back after multiple reminders, we went to another dealership. We were also lied to a few months back several times when they were trying to get us to turn my current CR-V early.
