I called to get an estimate for a simple procedure. Whoever the guy is that answered the phone was extremely rude. Based off of the phone call alone, I already know that I will not be spending my money there.

Excellent service! Needed to get the wifes car fixed, and I have always done the work myself (trust issues) so I took a chance on this place and was pleasantly surprised. First off Gustavo, I hope I got his name right, great gentleman, took the car in once I explained what I thought I needed done. Almost closing time and he got his colleagues to put the car on the lift and verify my story. Within mins showed me what the source of my oil leak was and another leak from the steering rack and pinion unit, gave me a fair estimate of the repairs and though I had to leave the car overnight got it fixed before promised. I think I finally found a place I can trust. Btw, as they were closing up and parking all the cars in the shop my wife remembered she had left her purse inside the car already 7 feet above ground on a lift. Gus and team moved the cars and got my wifes car back on the ground in minutes without even a sore look...I know I would have that was a lot of moving cars. It got me thinking this crew have the right attitude. Thanks to everyone at Lakes Auto Center for an excellent auto repair experience. Keep up the great work and stay safe.

This location provides very good and professional service. Serviced my tire rim, belts, hoses on old 2007 Taurus which now drives like new April 16/2021. I had already researched other mechanics such as Pep Boys they wanted double the rate and face the nightmare waiting at their location. Lakes auto center takes care of you quickly and have a team of mechanics for any service. I highly recommend this fair and honest location if you value your money and your car. David the mechanic was beyond professional in diagnosing my car. What a great group of people that are honest and seek the best solution. I had been taking my car to my regular mechanic for years but was frustrated that my car kept having issues starting and was literally completely shutting down while I was stopped in the middle of traffic. My regular mechanic could not figure out the problem and had basically given up on my car. I searched online and saw that Lakes Auto Center had great reviews. When my car shut down again, I had it towed to Lakes Auto Center. It took them two days of hard work and investigating but they found the problem and completely resurrected my 18 year old Jeep Cherokee. I was stressed out at the possibility of having to get a new car but thank God that Manny and his crew were able to completely fix the problem and now my car has been running perfectly for over a month. Manny, who is the manager and I believe the owner (not sure) is extremely kind and I found him to be VERY FAIR regarding the price that he charged me. He easily could have charged me a lot more. Not only did I find him and the Lakes Auto Center staff to be very kind and HONEST, but they did a fantastic job on my car and took away all the car headaches I had been having. I plan on bringing my car here for all my future car maintenance and I highly recommend this place. Hard working and very honest and fair and they do a helluva job!!!!! Highly recommended!

This little shop right by the traffic light is an outstanding family business that has been around for many years. They will help you out with auto issues, explain the process, and solutions with you. You have the option of hanging out outside the shop or inside the shop to wait for your car or you can leave it and come back. The whole team that works here deliver on their word, and theyre professionals. I trust them with my car whenever I need something checked out, and they provide savings for great service. Awesome little shop in Hialeah, Miami Lakes area.

Honesty and integrity fits this business perfectly. Owner and employees are so welcoming. Ive been taking my cars here for maintenance close to 10 yrs and Ive never been disappointed. They tell you the truth even when its not in their favor. They are ridiculously honest. Prices are also much cheaper compared to other companies. I love this place.

Family business, very honest. They are also top of the line mechanics. They have always given me a very reasonable price. The first time I met them, many years ago, I had taken my Lexus to several different mechanics, and they wanted to charge me anywhere from $3,500. to $4,000., dollars, to fix black smoke coming from the muffler. I went to Lakes Auto Center, as a last resort, and they told me that they would check it out. I was astonish, that they were charging me only $350. From then on I was sold with their honesty. I take my BMW there too, and always a great price! My entire family & friends have been going there for vehicle repair & maintenance, with no complaints nor regrets!

I came here with two different cars with significant issues, my experience was the mechanics at Lakes Auto Centers are knowledgeable, and are passionate about bringing top service at a good price. I had a car with a electrical issue and they took their time to actually figure out the problem with out just loading up the parts shotgun and over charging me for things that werent causing the issue. Attentive service with decent prices. Its hard to find a mechanic where you feel confident that the service done is well yet comfortable that they wont be pulling fast one on you. This place is it. Get what you need done quickly and have confidence that they will tell it how it is.

They are wonderful and *gasp* honest! I went in for an oil change and some transmission issue. They were really nice in telling me that they advised me to go to a place that specializes in transmissions because they didnt have the tools to go into depth for the type of car I had. They could have easily stiffed me. They changed my oil and I was on my way within 35 mins. Be prepared to go as soon as they open, otherwise you will be stuck waiting for a few hours since they are very in demand.

Took my car in for an alignment and was immediately informed that they recommended we replace the ball bearings first. They informed us that it would be $480 plus alignment. When my husband told them that he would do the work himself and bring them back the car for the alignment, they charged us $30 for an estimate. Albeit unrequested. It seems to me that they just want any excuse to charge people. Will definitely not go there again and surely wont recommend.

These guys were great. I took a car that I was planning to purchase to be inspected. I had called a couple other places and they were too overpriced and with a wait time of 3 hours plus. I googled this place and read the ratings and decided to go with them. They were nothing but helpful and informative. No wait time and very honest guys. Id go for them again for any time of automotive inspections.

Taken My car here for things from engine and a/c compressor swaps to leaking turbo blocks and always had a good experience. Prices do seem a bit higher than other places but also seems like a more experienced auto shop than any Ive been too so worth the trade off

Fast and honest. I called and talked to Jesus to make an appointment to get an estimate for repairing the air conditioner in my Dodge Nitro. He said there was no Freon in the system so they needed to add Freon with a leak check dye to see where the leak is. So far after a month its still running ice cold.
