Never rent from this place. The moment we walked in they started yelling at us in Spanish and after we told them we didn’t speak Spanish the guy walked out of the store we then proceeded to our trailer reservation and the lady we spoke to was great and made the process seamless but when we went to hook up the trailer to our truck the moment we pulled to the back the same guy yelling at us then started inspecting the truck and it seems we ended up having an electrical issue and had such an attitude about it refused to help us what so ever i’m pretty positive he was the manager from the other reviews I’ve seen and I truly felt Discriminated against us because we didn’t speak Spanish and when we went inside for our refund the guy was fully capable of speaking English and during the refund the guy refused to help the lady trying to do our refund for us

Avoid this place if you can. Hidden made up fees and lies to charge you extra on anything. Make time on your schedule because you will have to spend a lot of time trying to reach them to dispute all those added charges to your credit card.

Scheduled a hitch installation and took off work. Arrived at the store on 61street and w. 20 ave. In the morning after no one answered the phone all morning. They scheduled me at another store on a different day, I went to other u-haul in okeechobee rd. Hoping to get answers and they were clueless as to who I was and added they didn’t have the hitch in stock either. Female employee there said she would call me didn’t. No sorry or apologies. These company is trash and the reviews show same I won’t do business w them again.

Vehicle rented was in great conditions. However, cleanliness not present. Customer Service: Outstanding! In all stations and doing the extra mile (Thx Adele) This branch was the only opened after Thanksgiving. For this Respect and keep up the good work!

Andres mambuca is there worst manager e we and was very disrespectful to me.He used foul language and began to scream at me In front of other customers.Worst manager I have ever seen

They overcharged my account after their clerk made an error. Said they would investigate the camera after admitting error. Called a week later and still no refund and they still need investigating camera. They are flat out terrible service. I had to file a dispute with my bank because these people lack the compassion or empathy to return money to people they owe or are too lazy to bother. If you return your truck ask for the receipt that includes the miles. They just cant wait to take advantage of those that dont get their paper work back. I’d seriously consider filing a police report on them. Comporate complaint will be filed.

After a TERRIBLE experience at the U-Haul from the Valero gas station @ 5090 W 4th Ave in Hialeah we drove to this location. The young man who helped us get our rental was amazing. He was polite, explained everything nicely and had a great demeanor that was customer service oriented. You could tell he was actually pleased doing his job, which is NOT common in Hialeah from my personal experience! We were in and out of there in under 10 minutes and the young man who handed us the truck was also really nice. If in Hialeah, use this location, it is so worth it based on the quality of their customer service alone.

I ve rented numerous times at this location without one complaint the guys do their job like expected and the equipment is in excellent condition.

Are usually never write reviews on anything but I am very upset with this location. I have scheduled a reservation for today at 5:30 PM to be picked up a 20 footer when I went on the website to see the number and called and asked if it was available already to be picked up it said that my reservation has been canceled. nobody ever called me or even sent any emails referring to the cancellation that is very unprofessional because I own a business myself and I wouldn’t do that to a paying customer for no reason. And to top it off I called the location was on hold for more than 15 minutes and they picked up the phone and hung hung up immediately . I understand if they would’ve told me ahead of time I would’ve called somewhere else or look somewhere else just the fact that they did that, makes me not wanna even work with this company ever again such a great experience for the first time ever even using using U-Haul

Unprofessional location was advised to never make uhaul appointments online. Then advised after paying to go to Miami hitches not a uhaul . This was horrible Cuban rigged place for hitches

They placed a hitch on my 2016 Camry V6I had to secure both mufflers my self since the installer was lazy or just doesnt know what he is doing. They also put a cosmetically damaged hitch on my car with out asking me. I would not mine the cosmetic damage if at least the installation was done correctly. I dont think they even placed the heat shield back on my mufflers.If you want a professional installer for a hitch I would suggest you do not use U-Haul .

Super rude. Horrible customer service. They treat you with a bad attitude and are not willing to help. They need better training and better customer service. Had to wait over 30 minutes and there were two representatives there just staring at the computer. They asked my wife to step out since we are in the pandemic I understand we need social distancing but if they say 5 customers inside the store and the only two were my wife and my self. Horrible experience never ever again coming here.

Horrible service. We checked online before going, and the website listed that this place had what we were looking for. Then when we arrived, only one person available to serve the public. After a line of customers formed, another representative offered his services. We were next in line so we went with him. First, he informed us that they did not have our request at that moment, and he graciously offered to call another closer location to find it. After a while, he was able to find two places and he wrote the addresses for us in a peace of paper. He then made a reservation to secure the product in one of the two locations and told the reservation number to the representative on the other line. That person asked us for a phone number and offered to text us the address and directions. We never received the text but went to the mentioned location anyways since we have already reserved the product (2460 NW 36th St.) When arrived there, we were informed that they don’t have it and gave us a third location, different from the other two that we initially received. I called this place (61 St and 20 ave) to talk to someone and inform about the issue, they left me on hold for several minutes until I decided to hang up and submit this review. I do not recommend this place at all. Zero customer service!

Had 2 storages here for a year..when I went to retrieve my belongings four paintings had been removed from one of my units..of course no one knew anything..but I know the management had access to my units.. I mean come on, I purchased the locks from the front desk here at the location..the paintings were passed down from my grandmother..truly hurt and disgusted by the experience.. shame on those responsible. I would not trust this business. They are thieves. Theyve been taking out of the rented units for years. Karma is yours to enjoy..hope my paintings were worth it. Shame on you people

I Parked my car in a bad location because I couldn’t find a better spot and he very rudely told me if I couldn’t see that I was blocking the entrance (which I wasn’t) he could’ve asked nicely if I could move my car. It doesn’t take much to be nice to a customer who is about to spend money on your business.

I reserved a truck online the day before, and it was available when I got there.Excellent service by the employees, very professional, all young boys, I was impressed by their matureness. Michael helped me, excellent kid.The aire freshener in the place needs to go though, too strong.

I was trying to return unused boxe for clothes, the one that are $ 12.99, the clerk did not help at all, he did not look at the computer even I spend more than 600 the week before and he did not want to give me a refund in the store I purchased the box, in other hand I return successfully a second box in the Port Richey office, where they understand better the customer.Administration should seek to better their crew providing the same customer service value to all their employees uniform, at the end is the same company through the country. Consider me a regular client. In the past year I have used their Service and Storage many times and rented on and off for 3 months theyre storage. everything is good just one complaint that I keep complaining about. At night Lighting in the storage area no good. but thats okay cuz theres electrical outlets where you can connect your own lighting. But the lighting in the parking lot in front of the entrance please do something about that its too too dark.

I came here to rent a small truck on a Monday afternoon and they were sold out of small trucks so I had to rent a Van instead. The facility was very clean in the inside and had a nice smell but there was only one cashier attending customers on a Monday afternoon and 3-4 people in line waiting to rent trucks. There were no parking spaces when I came in to rent a truck, I had to tell my brother that came with me to wait outside near the facility in my car while I rented the truck because we couldnt park anywhere due to lack of parking spaces.

Went to this facility on Hialeah because they are the closest yo my home. Wanted to purchase 2 boxes. Waited in line 30 minutes. There were only two employees at the register. One left and then there was only One. There were 7 customers waiting in line. Several customers complained to the manager who was a very rude Hispanic man. The manager told all of us in the that he was busy and he was not going to assist on the front and that if we did not like the service to get the hell out and go shop at Walmart. He further stated that he did not care what the customers opinion of him, etc....This was uncalled for, this manager needs to be sent to anger management classes and needs to be dismissed. All customers got upset and started to argue with this rude verbal manager. This manager created an unsafe environment as everyone wanted to punch this manager in the face. This is a horrible hostile place to go to. I have dealt with this manager before and he is very rude and verbally abusive with the customers and employees. I rarely go there due to this manager.

Made my reservation online and service was really fast. The truck was ready for pick up at the agreed time and was work ready. Friendly staff and wide variety of vehicles and equipment.

I am a customer of uhaul more than 4 years. I moved to Tampa last week. Got a truck and car hauler. They said, to put my car on top of it to tow, I have to pay which I haven’t last year. They said new company rules and I said ok, You start working on it and I’ll go inside and pay? Manager said I need to pay first. I went inside, only one register and too slow. So I ended up loading it up myself. the manager mr. Andres was really unprofessional in his work. I would recommend the other uhaul location which is on the Okeechobee.

AVOID THIS PLACE . Really bad experience, manager treats customers with bad attitude, at least that was how my wife and I were treated. If you want to avoid the hassle to be treated rudely and avoid future problems DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. I never leave any reviews but this place it deserves one. It is tough trying to deal this kind of people in order to avoid a fight.

Worst service ever. I was standing in line with 4 employee there, and only one Working the counter. One fat kid was sitting with his head on the counter. I made eye contact with him several times, and not once did he ask if I needed assistance. The other two were sitting in the customer waiting area. One was whining about how she can’t wait till 11:00, that she gets off shift, and the other guy, that he can’t wait til 1pm r the same reason. The only employee that was worth anything is Adela. She was very professional and took care of me. As a business owner, I’d be ashamed to have these employees working for me..

Worst U-Haul experience ever. I went to rent a truck, they didn’t have any so I decided on a van. I was told I couldn’t use my personal insurance, and if I wanted to pay in cash I would have to leave $100 deposit and my passport. I’ve never heard of this. When I questioned why I was told on the van I cannot pay cash at all, which makes no sense.

They are charging to my credit card 3 times more, one week later of my return truck day, Im still trying to talk with any representative, when I call they put me on hold for more than 20 min, and nobody answer,

On Sunday 5/29 I went to rent a bad all ran good. Until I was driving in the turnpike and I had not acceleration and tge speed went down from 60 to 40. I managed to stop on the side of the road. The dashboard had a Engine Fault notification.So, I turned off the bad waited few min and turn it back on. Tge message was off and was able to finally get to my destination. Picked up the furtiture and went back. It happened again.Stopped in the middle of the road and same mgs on the dashboard engine fault .I did the same thing and bad was up and running again.made it to my house to droppedoff furnitureand took the bad back to Uhaul in west Hialeah. This is were I got my main problemThe customers service and attention they treated this dangerous matter.The two girls in the office didnt care much.Instead of at least been apologetic on this scary event for me and my daughter one of them quoted oh this band is practically new. No one has made any complaints about it..I replied that yes I just did make a complaint that need to take action as it might happen to someoneelse too if they keep the band in service.

The staff was helpful and courteous. I was surprised that for 10x15 units there were no lights or power outlets as I have seen in other storage places.

Worse uhaul ever I recomend dont waist your time. The manager should have been let go a long time ago. Talk about a facility where no one wants to do anything. Go to Budget.

So Ive gone to this place so many times to get propane, but I keep having bad experiences, One time The owner himself was attempting to refill the propane cylinder the wrong way, I kept telling him how to do it, but he would not listen, then he tells me my tank is broken and he couldnt fill it all the way(he was just filling it wrong) lol, the guys a full blown idiot

First and last time I use the service of these people, they will steal money from you even in case you smile inside the rental, it has been almost a month since I rented a vehicle for two hours and I am still getting bills to pay, and fuel surcharges that They are incredible, terrible experience I never rent a vehicle again, if there were a zero star rating they would get it from me without any problem horrible experience the truth

The service is terrible, the girl today left me talking and I answered the phone and did not answer me or what I asked her that is without mentioning that she saw me when she came in and looking at me she left and there was no one there I was waiting for them to attend to me like 10 minutes after those 10 minutes my appointment was for 12 and I had supposedly two cars in front of me! It is no longer for 12 oclock and how I had to leave pk like 4 hours of waiting ... in short, terrible

This Uhaul location in Hialeah, is without a doubt the best, they are always so respectful, they have everything you need for a move, from excellent cars, to cardboard, ribbons, paper to line the furniture well, and bags for the mattresses, everything to take care of your move, whenever I arrive there are trucks, the manager is very friendly, and the employees are young too friendly and respectful. they treat you like family. I congratulate you🤗I love this place !!!

10/22/2020 approximately 11:20 am visit the store Since I needed to rent a truck for a week and a trailer at the time of entering the store there was a client of Lante de me, the lady (Adela) never said good morning and when the customer left, she left the store, she didnt even tell me she was coming back or to give her a minute, she just ignored me. I hope that U-haul or the owner of the store give their employees a little training, I personally do not return to this store.

The employee treated me with an inappropriate attitude for those who offer customer service. Very unprofessional when I asked him about the details of the rate. In addition, an employee told me that I would better buy the furniture at the other place if it was cheaper to pay the rent. None of the employees had the name visible on their ID. Thank you

Theyre thieves. They charged me 2 times from my credit card. They said it was a lie, the woman did not want to see the collection of my account and being the cashier said that she did not know anything about that, she charges, and does not know anything and also they force you to deceive you to put insurance, they charge you for the wheelbarrow . They are professional bandits, I do not recommend the place and in the end, my bank will give me my money back
