Unquestionably the most pleasant auto buying experience Ive ever had. Everyone involved in the transaction was courteous, super friendly, and patient with us. No pressure whatsoever......and they went above and beyond the norm to give us the best deal possible. I strongly recommend making car purchases elsewhere. Set up a appointment to see a car get called a day later and they tell me someone else is trying to see it the day before me. Tell me if I wanna make sure the car is still there I have to put a non refundable 500$ down on the vehicle this is before I ever see the car much less get to test drive it. Against my better judgment I put the money down with the sales associates word if anything messed up on the car in the first month I purchased it they would take care of it. I end up buying the car and the window has an issue, I have to take it to them 3 times for them to determine its the window motor and then for them to replace it. Then the gas gauge doesnt read properly and they tell me they have looked at it and that it doesnt throw any code so they cant fix it. Ive sent videos of it not reading correctly after filling up on gas and they still refuse go admit it has a problem and fix it. They tell me to just take it to a different mechanic if I want any more work done on it. Dishonest sales associate and poor mechanics cant determine the issue.
Contacted Paramount to see a particular used car. When my wife and I got there, the vehicle did not match the online description, namely, it did not have AWD. Also, the vehicle clearly had not been detailed even though it was in their possession for over 2 months. I asked them to detail and I would come back the next weekend to see it. To their credit, they did clean it up by the next weekend, and there never was any pressure to make a decision. When all was said and done, we did buy the car and we encountered their loan guy who was absolutely top notch making that part of it a pleasure.
Ryan, the salesman, was amazing and very accommodating. He was patient while we test drove multiple vehicles. He gave us honest feedback on which types of vehicles would be better for our family while still meeting our style request. He stayed after hours to ensure we were well taken care of. Ryan wasn’t pushy or overbearing. 10/10 would recommend him!

Trunk latch was broken & told by Paramount Hyundai Hky that would cost $300 to fix. We get it fixed at different repair shop on 9/21/21. Today receive recall in mail on latch from Hyundai. Purchased this car new from you & have been disappointed ever since. Esp the months you made me keep bringing it in to prove it was leaking oil until you finally replaced motor. Definitely do not recommend purchasing a new car here. And yes, I left my contact info with Morgan for a Manager to call me.

I did have a good salesperson to help me with the purchase of my car. We agree on a price and I did get a 2022 Santa Fe for that price. He was waiting on me to get there, and he explain to me in detail about the car. I did drive the car in town and on the highway which i like so I could get a feel about the car. He wanted you to feel comfortable about what you was purchasing.The only thing I would suggest is for him to offer his customers something to drink at some point, at least offer a bow when they purchasing a car no matter how much they are paying, and take a picture or suggest it.

Honest, ethical and transaparent dealership with fair pricing for work. I worked with Alex Napoles ( I believe was his name) who was very helpful and informative.Another shop had fixed my cars headlight in the past and 2 months later, the light went out again had stated it needed the entire headlight assembly replaced after an electrical test for the wiring was done, and were charging 800$ on top of the 200$ I paid initially for bulb replacement, and was charged 150 for testing the wiring for the headlight. So, I got a second opinion from paramount.Paramount checked and the wiring and the assembly was working fine, and only needed another bulb. The other shop also told me I needed new pads and discs but paramount clarified only new pads were needed soon.I appreciate the transparency, Alex saved me from a catastrophic bill, and was patient with answering my questions. I will definitely return for any future work for my car.Thank you again paramount

Our salesperson Matt Church did an excellent job helping us with our purchase. He was extremely professional and patient as I did not have all of my documentation with me and he even was able to show that I owed less on my old vehicle than I did...hard to find that kind of honesty these days. He was very familiar with the vehicle and even stayed past closing hours to demonstrate the features of it. The finance person was also knowledgeable explained the additional warranty packages, but was not pushy at all, he was even able to beat a super competitive rate through my own bank. Top notch. Highly recommended.

I had the best ever experience buying a car from Paramount Hyundai this past week. Trent was the salesperson that helped me buy a new Genesis G80 over the phone, including taking my old Genesis in trade. He made the transaction so easy. Started with an excellent price and to top it off he delivered the car to me in Asheville from Hickory and picked up my trade to take back to Hickory. I will certainly recommend them to my friends and will do business with them again.
I never even made it inside. I pulled up and saw a car I was interested in. As I was looking at the window sticker to see all the features, I noticed a extra panel that at the top added $3,000 to the price of that car for what was called a market adjustment. It was then that a sales associate came walking up to me, I ask him about this market adjustment and he told me about a chip shortage and that I would get more for my trade in. I said I didnt want chips and had no trade can you take the $3,000 off. This was answered with a simple no with the explanation every dealer was doing this. That was followed by my car door closing, engine starting and me driving away. If your alright paying for the auto industries shortage and their dealership taking advantage of you go ahead and purchase a car. If you really dont need a car right now wait until the buyer of a new car is respected again, not taken advantage of by circumstances beyond their control.
Found that this dealership had a great variety of vehicles to chose from, all at great prices below what I had seen listed at other dealerships for the same model/trim. Ended up purchasing a 2021 Tuscan Unlimited. Our sales person Jamie was helpful and friendly. The finance manager was straightforward and the process was painless. Rest everything was done over the phone and email and I never felt there was anything different or missing from the regular buying process. I would definitely recommend Katelyn and the dealership. The worst experience I have ever had in a car buying event. They wanted to charge 6k over MSRP (sticker). And then had the arrogance to claim that all dealers were doing that. Of course we found another dealer that was more than reasonable and even discounted off the sticker. Dont shop at this dealership unless you like taken to the cleaners.

Having never purchased a car from a dealership before, Katelyn was very knowledgeable and patient in explaining the whole process to me. The service department responds respectfully to any issue and schedules prompt, thorough service while providing a comfortable waiting area, or a courtesy vehicle for lengthier service calls.
Worst customer service in town! Today I called to get my vehicle serviced and asked for my vehicle to be picked up as advertised online. The gentleman said they dont offer that even though they advertise is online...did not take the time to even help me figure something out. It is sad that I have to take my Hyundai vehicle to a different dealer just cause they cant provide good service. On top of that everytime I take my vehicle they try to tell me something is wrong with my vehicle without them knowing I know about cars. They lie and try to trick people into spending money.

My experience was definitely five-star thanks to Trenton, who was very knowledgeable and never pushy. So I am now the proud owner of a 2021 Santa Fe! Very frustrating. My mom and dad just bought a 2016 vehicle less than year ago, drove less than 9000 miles and have had nothing but problems. Even took out the extended warranty but apparently everything that has went wrong is not covered, not really sure why they even got the warranty, its useless...Even brought down to have the diagnostic test ran and they were suppose to order the part, well 2 months later the representative dont even know what part we are talking about never called us back after calling multiple times to check about the whereabouts of the part. Then brought car again today FOR ANOTHER issue and were informed of multiple routine maintance things that need to be done that have NEVER been done yet when purchasing the car was told it was went threw top to bottom. Will never purchase from here again.
I always get my oil change done here because of the online booking. I made an appointment for 11am and dropped my car off at 10:15. I had a ride since the waiting area was full at this time. I came back by around 1:30 to see if by chance it was finished and I had not received a call. It was not. I then called to ask and was asked “did someone call to tell you it was finished”. No, they didn’t but I’m sorry I assumed an oil change was not a three hour service. When I arrived to finish waiting out the time I was basically told that customers who chose to wait at the dealership we’re first in and first out.The sign posted in their waiting area even states that after a 40 minute wait time that you should see an advisor. Well mine has been here for almost 4 hours now. Probably won’t return for future services.
Great Sales Experience for 2 Vehicles!I contacted Paramount about a Genesis G70 on their lot. We negotiated the lease term within a few text messages and short phone call. They even held the vehicle for me for 1 week with a small deposit since I was out of town on vacation when I initiated the sales transition. During our conversation, I also mentioned our lease ending on my wifes SUV. Ryan noticed that the one new Palisade had just arrived on their lot. We discussed pricing and I was happy with their lease terms. Management allowed Ryan to hold this hot new vehicle for me so it was still available upon my arrival to lease the Genesis. I arrived on Friday and within a short 2 hours performed the test drives, financial paperwork and went over all of the technical features for both vehicles. I had an excellent experience at this dealership and highly recommend visiting them for your next Hyundai or Genesis purchase.

Visited this dealership, among many others, looking at the used car selections. Associate Drew met us in the lot and walked is through every car that we were interested in seeing and great driving. We explained the features we were looking for in our next car and what our price range was. Taking that into considerate, Drew spoke with the dealerships Manager and he was able to get us into a brand new vehicle meeting all of feature guidelines and within our price range. Test drove the vehicle over the weekend and loved it. Bought it on Monday. Great buy, great experience and helpful staff.

Service is always great! Everyone is prompt on getting my vehicle in and serviced as quickly as possible. Staff working are always professional and very courteous to handling my needs. A Dealership is not a fun place to spend your time because you feel someone is always trying to sell you something or provide un-needed service just to make a dollar, but I have never felt that way at Paramount Hyundai of Hickory. This is the only Paramount dealership I’ve dealt with and I will continue doing my service there if needed and recommend their service to everyone!
