We all have times when we take our vehicle to an auto shop to get work done, pay for the service and though the vehicle is repaired, it seems that the service could have possibly been better. For the last few years, I have taken my truck to different Auto Franchises and this was always my experience.That all changed when I was recommended to take my truck to Springs Road Car Care. David evaluated the repairs requested to be done, But also shared his Professional opinion of what should also be repaired. They werent at all pushy, but simply explained the other necessary repairs.For the first time in over four years, I got my truck back and its driving like New again!! I brought my car in to be fixed. I asked that the car be looked at thoroughly and it was very clear that these guys did not take the time to take a good look at my car. As soon as I turned the car on,- the check engine light was on. The check engine light was NOT on when I dropped my car off.So, they sent one of the mechanics out there to do a read on the car. I already paid them $350 for the work they did. I paid them for the work I thought would get my car riding smoothly again. The mechanic said it may be the cam shaft sensor. Why is it that I havent even gotten the car off the lot and it already has another problem? And also, shouldnt they have known that check engine light was on before I even came to pick up the car?! I should be leaving YOUR lot with satisfactory work. A good business makes sure they are upfront, honest and professional with their customers. So if more work needed to be done, they should have known or checked into that.David only heard what he wanted to hear when I spoke to him. It was so infuriating to leave with my original issues with the car not having been addressed. My check engine is on and the car is jerking when it drives. This place has lost my business for good and I will take the necessary avenues to make sure this review is seen and I am heard. Customers are paying them hard earned money to fix problems that Springs Road Auto will not even take their time to address.

A couple months ago i brought in a 2015 Camaro with transmission leak problems and they did an awesome job with working with my warranty company and i only had to pay around $500 and my warranty paid $1200 so they helped me save a lot of money they replaced a new torque converter, transmission front pump seal, trans fluid change overall i was satisfied with their work i have not seen any more leaks and its been like 2 months and the car is running perfect.

Never will I go back very unsatisfied but thanks for unplugging my abs connector on my tire yall are not good services... Bye rip off

These guys are awesome. Every time I bring my car in they have it done in a timely manner. They fixed The bolt I broke on my phaser solenoid really quick and prices were more than fair. If you need something done this is the shop to go to. This is why you always see cars here. Fair prices quick turn around and professional staff with out standing customer service. You don’t find that many places.

Over the years, Ive had all kinds of work done by these guys. Weve had brakes, carburator stuff, Ive even pulled in with nothing more than a burned out tail light. They replaced that light bulb with as much efficiency and friendliness as they did any of our bigger jobs. And just as promptly, too. Ive never had to take a vehicle back to them with a badly done job, nor has there been anything left undone. I recommend them to everyone I know.

I took down my original review at the request of the owner, because he said would be willing to make things right, fix his mistakes. Yet, that is not what happened. This car repair shop will swindle you. The owner does not care. The repairs they make are quick fixes that cost a fortune and then need to be fixed again anywhere from a few days to a week later. From brakes to tires to alignment to bad window switches - nothing they fix stays fixed, if anything they make it worse so you have to come back and spend more. I regret taking down my original review, detailing everything they did to completely screw me over. Please do not go here, they will swindle you, and not even blink an eye. I wish I could give zero stars because that is what they truly deserve. Their repairs have put my family, my toddlers life at risk due to their incompetence or maybe just their lack of caring if they do the job right. They just want your money. And if an owner has to go and leave himself a five star review to balance out the bad reviews, that should tell you something.

These are some of the most caring people I have ever had work on my car. David is very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed. He even let me know which tires had mail in rebates to get the better deal. I will take all of my vehicles here going forward. Solid work from amazing people!!!

I shared a great review.. I defended David’s work against my family. Swearing he was a honest, hard working, sincere man. I was again proven wrong. I have only one word for all people in Hickory that plan to get car work done. Check the BBB! They say it’s fixed and you pay... then all they did literally goes wrong. I believe that there are honest people out there, but my advice is to go on line and ck the BBB. The one star is to remind me of how I will continue to hope people are inherently good.

My husband usually does all of our car maintenance/repairs but when he is not able to, we take our cars to David at Springs Road Car Care. We have been pleased with all the work hes done for us. This is the place to go if you want someone to fix your car that does a good job and is honest.

Today I got my starter fixed on my car, Honda said it would cost $800, but they only charged me $300 even knowing how much Honda was going to charge me the price was still $500 less. They are super nice they took care of the problem right away no problems and my windshield wipers are working 10× better idk if they gave me new ones or fixed mine but im extremely thankful! Definitely coming back here to future car problems I would recommend anyone else to as well. Thank you again!☺

My door would not open from the inside or out. The mechanic said it took him 2 hours to get into my door where he HAD to break the latch to open the door to find out what the problem was. Once he broke the latch, he called honda to order a new door handle, latch and a cable that he told me HE broke trying to get the door open. Meanwhile I have not heard from them so I call to get my quote on how much I was looking at. He proceeds to tell me that hes called in the parts and with the 2 hrs of labor it took him to get the door open I was looking at $450-$475! My mind is blown! I call around to have it confirmed that this is an outragous price. So I call the guy back and ask him to cancel the order for the parts and dont do anything else to the car. He says to me, but I broke the latch and took the window out so you wont be able to close your door. At this point I just want him out of my car. I said thats fine, what is it gonna cost me to come get my car right now as is? He says well for me to put the window back in and the door panel itll be $195. I say, no I dont want you to do anything else. What is it gonna cost for me to pick up as is right now. He says $160...I have to get off the phone at this point so I say Ill be there. He calls me back 15 mins later to tell me that my window is back in and hell be able to show me how to open my door when I get there. So we went from $475 to $195 to $160 for a door that is NOT fixed. I dropped my car off to have it fixed but got it back in pieces and STILL was charged $160. I asked what exactly I was paying for and he said the 2 hrs it took for him to get my door open to find the problem. He also told me that putting my window back in, leaving my door panel off and leaving my door in pieces was a COURTESY!!

Theyve fixed some things on my vehicle before. Nice employees. So i took a chance this last time & had my brakes replaced. I think the operator with the soft voice was under alot of pressure having to do multiple jobs at one time. A day after I drove to wal mart and my brakes went out. I decided not to go back to have them fix it bc that scared me. I really dont trust them to fix my vehicle anymore I went to white tire down the street and they got my brakes working like they were supposed too.Update- The owner called me after reading this review to make sure everything with me was ok bc I guess he wasnt there on that particular day. He assured me that the soft spoken man that I was referring to no longer works there. And that he apologizes for my experience. I accept. So.. hopefully no more bad experiences will have to be posted.

Rude ...unknowing about warranties for work done to my car.. unprofessional.. my car is broken down now with same issue and they want to see the car to tell me if I have warranty should that not be in the computer?? I had four center pieces on all four my rims but when I get my car back I’m missing one...
