A large collection of furniture stores, many of which are owned by the same companies.The staff in most of them were very pleasant and helpful.There were few items on the floor available to take home. Items could be ordered with customization to meet your needs, but lead times were long and unpredictable. Prices seemed to be normal with few discounts.Come during market week for bargains.
Leslie and Anne with Hickory Park Furniture Galleries are the best! I am a realtor in the Huntersville area and Leslie helped me pick out furniture for my master bedroom. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined! The furniture is amazing quality and so beautiful. Their delivery service was great too. One stop shop for trying to furnish a second home currently under construction. Teresa was of invaluable assistance to us, navigating the furniture mart and getting us as quickly and efficiently to the people who could help us with what we were looking for. She was also very helpful with assisting us in matching patterns and selecting matching pieces, and letting us know when the deal was good. Prices of the furniture are no longer the extreme bargains that they used to be due to inflation, lumber, and labor shortage prices, but I believe they still beat our local furniture stores here in Florida, plus we could accomplish a lot all in one building. They are also being nice enough to store our pieces until construction is completed on our second home, then combine all the shipping.
I cannot compliment Diane Christensen enough. I found some pieces of furniture on-line, called Hickory Park and was fortunate to have Diane answer my call. Diane is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She was able to quickly answer all my questions quickly - explained the purchase and shipping process without any issues. Absolutely incredible place !! Tracey, the Executive VP and Director is extremely knowledgeable and a true professional. It can be very overwhelming at first and you really need to do your own research on the internet prior to your trip. We spent 2 days there and bought 3 rooms of furniture and saved thousands over retail furniture stores. One tip I can give you is DO NOT be afraid to have the sales people help you !! If you are ready to pull the trigger and purchase multiple rooms of furniture, let Tracy help you with her expert input. In addition to an assistant named Teresa who was an absolute godsend, we worked with BJ at Hickory Park furniture and design service who not only was an expert on furniture but a real pro at design and putting rooms together based on your likes and input. They are NOT pushy and are there to help you with your purchases. I can not say enough good things about our trip to The Hickory Furniture Mart. Just do your homework prior to going, give yourself plenty of time and dont be afraid to let the experts help you !!
I really wanted to purchase a leather couch and sofa from Classic Leather but there were no dealers up in Baltimore that I could order from. Fortunately, I contacted Hickory Furniture Mart and Leslie and Anne could not have been more helpful. I had lots of questions and they were very nice and patient. We were twice sent multiple leather color swatches by mail to pick out a leather we liked. There was no pressure to hurry and make a decision. A final 6 x 6 inch piece of leather was sent from the actual hide that they used. No hidden costs, no surprises and they were sure to get all the details correct. I just received the furniture pieces today. I LOVE them! Couldnt be happier with the service (and the product).

Diane was great to work with and kept me informed throughout the process. Delivery was reasonable and was white glove. They carried my 10 person table inside and upstairs in an elevated beach house, assembled it and put it right where it went. Took the trash away.

A great place to go to get a look at anything furniture. You will find some good deals in the outlets, but most furniture is still pricey. We found a couch that we ordered and living room set we bought off the floor and a bunch of decor. Recommend to anybody for a place to see what is out there all in one place.

Before my wife and I closed on our new home, I began researching other peoples experiences furnishing their homes. Since our home is located in the Charlotte area, I was interested in perhaps furnishing the home at the Hickory Furniture Mart. Many of the reviews about the Mart mentioned using a personal shopper. Many of the reviews mentioned Teresa Thompson as the personal shopper of choice. As advertised, Teresa was a tremendous asset to us. She knew what we wanted and where to find it at the Mart. She also was the perfect host, knowledge about each of the many, many stores within the four floors of the Mart and very respectful of our wishes and wants. If you are planning a visit the Hickory Furniture Mart and are wishing to furnish several rooms, request Teresa to show you around. You won’t mind (too much) spending that money because you will realize that you not only saved money purchasing the furniture but you will have saved enormous time hunting it out.

Lynsie helped me in the Fall of 2020 with a caracole credenza that we are so happy with and then again in the last few months with an end table and coffee table. We were on our way to FL and made the trip to Hickory as our 1/2 way stop from Michigan. I had read the reviews and noticed over and over mention of a personal shopper named Teresa. Believe the hype - not just about Teresa, but I must say that Tracey Trimble the Exec. VP & GM of Hickory Furniture Mart was absolutely amazing to work with as well. You would have thought that I had an entire home worth of furniture I needed to secure. It was only 1 large sectional, but Teresa knew exactly what we were looking for and walked us into each showroom where she knew there was something we might need to see before making our selection. We took a break and were treated to a lunch before we continued on our way to FL. My husband was with me so we needed to stay on task. Teresa was a blessing and will absolutely be returning!

When we built our new house, we made a trip to North Carolina to purchase furniture for our bedroom and family room. Since we had such a great experience with our first purchase, I knew we wanted to purchase our outdoor furniture from the Hickory Furniture Mart too. Due to the 2020 pandemic, another trip to North Carolina wasn’t a good idea however we were lucky when Diane Christensen was the sales person who responded to my email inquiry. Just a fun place to shop for furniture, rugs, accessories for your home. I work inside the mart, and I love to walk around and window shop. 2 really good cafe/snack shops inside the building. Plan to get here early. It will definitely take a while to take it all in. Always a sale going on. Lots of clearance items to choose from. Designers available on site.
Large facility with indoor furniture and decor shopping. They do have elevators, information desk where you can obtain a wheelchair with deposit of your drivers license. Then store after store of shopping. I had been numerous furniture stores in Burke, Caldwell, and Catawba counties for the perfect recliner. The Lazy-Boy store had the best recliner for me. It was even on sale and you can purchase a protection plan for your item. There were a couple of bumps in my purchasing process, but staff quickly addressed these things and I have a great recliner!
